The Dasher Challenge : Part 2 - Swimming with Sharks

Although the bewildered referee may have just so happen to miss the cheapshot heard around the world, the scores of booing wrestling fans in attendance plainly saw the heinous mule-kick that had left Mako crumpled down to her knees while she muttered every profane expletive she could think of. Dasher remaining slumped against the ropes for a few more seconds to collect himself after narrowly avoiding what could have been the German suplex that did him in. Instead the boorish Puroresu champion was on the cusp of putting the finishing touches on this outright theft of a match, his own sense of honor be damned so long as he didn't have to suffer a fluke loss to this feeble minded woman.

Dasher eventually spun in place with an exhausted huff and was greeted with the unadulterated menace in Mako's glaring eyes. But Dasher knew that was the last act of defiance from a rebellious shark who had turned from predator to prey. He stepped up right in front of Mako and tilted her head up by means of his clenching grip on her curly hair, her chin pressed up against his thigh while he directed his lasting words down at her.

"...*pant*...Next time you think to challenge me…*pant*...remember where you ended up. On your knees..." Dasher ominously imparted before tugging Mako back up and once more slotting her head under his brawny arm for snug front headlock. After positioning her arm around his neck and reaching down to clamp onto the back of her knees with both of his hands, a guttural groan would be belted out as he hauled her upside down with her legs spread wide. The Inoba Buster position being as demeaning as it was painful...hence why Dasher would keep it maintained for as long as his straining muscles could allow before dropping to his backside for the body crunching impact part of his dreaded finisher.

Mako didn't think things could get worse at this point...no that was a lie. She honestly knew things were going to get worse, the woman just didn't want to admit it. So when Dasher got himself off the ropes and grabbed her by the hair, the shark's gaze only got more bloodthirsty. Listening to his abusive words was driving her mad, her heart was beating way too fast as well. All Mako could think about was how badly she wanted to hurt this asshole...

"You've...just bought yourself time...and a fucking...target...on your back...bitch..." the shark would growl before her opponent started to get her on two feet. She couldn't do a damn thing about it, though, as he pulled her back up into a tight headlock. Squirming as best she could, Mako wasn't even close to escaping her opponent. She knew it, Dasher knew it, and the crowd knew it. Luckily the crowd was booing and cursing him like crazy...the shark liked that at least.

Still, the fans couldn't save her now as the man lifted her up so that her neck would be on his shoulder. Dasher would keep the shark in position by holding onto the back of her knees, which caused her legs to be spread wide open as he set up the end. That wasn't terrible to Mako, though. The shark was way more comfortable with her body than anyone could imagine. The only thing she couldn't stand was the fact that this was the end...she didn't even think about people seeing her legs spread like this. The woman only cared about what they would see after...

"Oh...I'm going...to come back...I can promise...you that...Dasher... Mako would growl moments before the man finally dropped onto his backside. The impact was beyond jarring as it put a great deal of stress on her neck and spine. The Inoba Buster immediately caused her to go limp and fall to the canvas like a rag doll. Laying on her side, the only movement coming from her was the slow, labored breathing that forced her chest to go up and down.

There were scant things Dasher would see fit to compliment the maddened shark on. None of which revolved around her wrestling style or her competence in the ring whatsoever seeing as how he was about to prove himself the superior grappler in as brutal a fashion he could imagine. But even in his deluded and intensely chauvinistic mind he could give Mako props for having the rebellious wherewithal to consistently keep her mouth running even on the cusp of an impending defeat.

Not that it deterred Dasher in the slightest, who only saw it as the delusional blustering of a feeble-minded woman incapable of accepting that she had just been bested by a real man. And one who was now even more determined to silence her defiant tongue by dropping to his backside for a thunderous impact so overwhelming that it briefly silenced the jeering crowd so they could lend Mako their sympathetic groans with the ring ropes jostling from the reverberations.

"H-Heh...Much better..." Dasher sat upright with his square-jawed sneer in between his exhaustive breaths, his arms propped on his bent legs as he reveled in the sweet sounds of silence coming from the kayoed shark lying motionless behind him. Knowing better than to prolong this inevitable outcome any longer, Dasher would shuffle backward and lay his muscled torso across Mako's chest while hooking both of her legs. Curling her up into a ball with her ass in the air and the referee dropping down to do what she gets paid for.

"One!"

"Two!"

Mako wanted to put Dasher in his place. Or at least, show him he was a stupid prick for trying to do the same with all women. But here she was, practically unconscious and beaten after being taken out by a move he only managed to use since she got kicked between the legs. The shark couldn't believe the situation she was in, at least she wouldn't when she realized where she currently was.

Soon a faint pounding noise would be heard, but she was too far gone to do anything about it. Then another would be heard...and then a final, heartbreaking pound that resonated with her disoriented mind.

"Three!" the ref girl would shout despite absolutely not wanting to since she thought Dasher was an ass as well.

A chorus of boos filling the arena instantly along with chants and jeers. Eyes slowly opening, Mako would wake up to a world that was filled with one thing. Hate. Mostly her own in fact as she struggled to roll away from Dasher and onto her stomach. That way she could try to get back on her hands and knees. It wasn't easy considering how badly her back ached. And her neck...God dammit that hurt ten times as bad.

Mako may have gotten on her knees, but her hands were too busy clasping at the back on her neck. Nursing the pain wasn't helping at all, though. All it did was make the shark more aware of it. Turning her head slightly though, Mako would take one last murderous glance at the man who had beaten her. It was her first loss in tension, and probably not her last. But to lose to him, this asshole!? Mako wasn't done. She was far from it. Tonight Dasher had won the battle, but goddamn it, she was going to win the war!

Just several more canvas smacking seconds were all it would take for the similarities between Mako and Carmen Rodriguez, Dasher's first Tension opponent, to grow by one. Namely, that they would both be sharing the dubious distinction of being bested by the puroresu grappler by less than honorable methods. Though Dasher merely saw his underhanded methods as merely tricks of the trade and tools of the game. Ones that true, manly wrestlers wouldn't succumb so easily to, and by using such unscrupulous tactics he was merely proving his point about how inferior these feeble, soft, milk toast women were as wrestlers...

...or in any actuality, that was Dasher's way of justifying himself and preventing his manly pride from getting shattered by losing to a woman. And once the three count had cemented his victory, Dasher sprang to his feet and allowed Mako the space to shuffle away.

"OORIYAH!!!" The bowl-cut haired grappler roaring triumphantly towards the hard camera in the audience with an overly dramatic flexing of his bulging and rock hard muscles as if he had just overcome some tremendous hurtle and was the conquering hero in this story. He motioned for the reluctant referee to raise his right arm in victory, which she did halfheartedly and with a roll of her eyes. Dasher's sneering smile somehow making the audience boo him even more than they already were, his team of trainers than entering the ring and helping him put his pitch black robe back on.

On his way out the ring, Dasher would turn in place and revel in the unmitigated hatred Mako was tossing his way. None of her four letter words were going to erase what he was positively sure would infuriate her for the rest of her pathetic wrestling career. That she had just been beaten by a real man, and nothing felt sweeter than putting this vulgar woman in her place. Dasher hocked back and spat off to the side of the ring as a fitting message about he thought of her before making his exit alongside his trainers.
