Frenemies

For a moment halting her grumbling tummy, Diana put hand to gut as her attention once more went solely back to Alaina. "Well...if you focus on singles stuff atleast, that directly helps your tag stuff. That way, even if that other chick your with, Julie, Julia, Jules?.." Diana raised a hand, unsure if she'd pronounced the name right. It was meant as no insult to Julia or her credibility, it was but an example of how simple minded Diana could be when the opponent was not right before her. And Diana had of course not faced the masked beauty. "..is for some reason bad, which, obviously she ain't if your tagging with her, but if by chance she slips, you can jump in with your newfound skills and shit.."

The topic quickly changed however, back to the one that always seemed to be promiment with Alaina and Diana. The idea of them fighting.

"Tsk..whenever. Your my last fight before my sabbatical..."

"Kia is downright amazing. If anything I need to work twice as hard just to hang equal to her.
Also, if I am your last match before a break it damn well better be your best. That crowd will be on its feet start to finish." Alaina said confidently as she stood with her powerful arms crossed.

She grinned at Diana, hoping that she echoed the sentiment. Alaina was going to make sure she was all the amazon she could be.

It seemed evident that the rematch between Diana and Alaina was most certainly on, and most certainly soon. For perhaps the first time in her fighting career, her opponent seemed keener than her to get it rolling; a fact that made the Italian smile from ear to ear.

"No shit. Just don't be sour when I pin you, because they'll be no re-re-match" Diana winked, before slowly stepping towards the hallway door. "Anyway, I'm fucking starved. Moping around your kitchen certainly ain't helping." Extending her hand, she'd grab a hold of her new found rivals wrist, seemingly without caring for if Alaina herself was hungry.

"Come on, let's go get a bite."

Alaina chuckled at Diana's confidence, each woman convinced that they were going to emerge victorious. Alaina also knew her kitchen was lacking since a bunch of the people in the house were health food crazy. Not the best for guests. Again, Alaina laughed at Diana's comments as she spoke about getting food.

"Sounds like a plan, I'll buy. Consider it the last meal before losing to me sorta like that death row meal." Alaina said with a laugh as the two headed off.
