Daisuke Takeuchi vs Katherine Hart : Submission Match

Submission Match: The only way to obtain victory is by forcing your opponent to submit in the ring.

Kat's day had gone from bad to worse. Merely a couple of hours after her being robbed a victory by a rookie that she could have easily beaten if it weren't for shady officiating, and the fact that she was holding back against her foe Navi Florges, Kat had been scheduled for an interview. An interview that was rudely interrupted by one of the more well established unsavory characters of AFW: the wrestling prince, himself, Daisuke Takeuichi. Following an altercation between the two wrestlers, Kat had challenged him to a submission match to force him to make good on his claim that he could force a submission out of The Super Kitty before unmasking her.

Hart would opt to skip out on the formalities. No stretching, no handshake, no adjusting of her form-fitting leotard, mask, or boots. Kat stood in fighting position, ready to strike, even before the ref got in.



She was keen on the idea of blowing off some steam by putting Daisuke in his place. To her, and many others, cutting loose and coming at the man with darn near her full arsenal and expertise was a good way to make up for what happened against, Navi. When the ref finally arrived, the official would check with both fighters before she called for the bell.

The prince didn’t expect things to escalate this quickly but now that they had, there was no backing out of it. It seemed like a simple enough job, go out there and taunt the super kitty and get out with having the last laugh. She already had a match and Daisuke didn’t expect her to be ready and roaring for another one. However, Kat was looking to blow off some steam and this was the perfect opportunity for her.

She seemed ready to go, there were going to be no formalities in this one. Even though they had just met, a grudge was already formed between the two as Kat was ready to wrestle the prince even before the makeshift referee was about to make her way to the ring.

Daisuke removed his wrestling robe to just be now in his wrestling briefs and boots, it was on between the two. He flung his rove over the to hand it over to the ring official outside before turning back to Katherine
He smirked before getting into a slight crouching position as he raised his arms up high, he began to shift to his right looking to circle the kitty, inviting her to kick off the match by a classic collar and elbow grapple battle.

After taking a moment to adjust, Daisuke seemed to be ready. It was an impromptu match, but any wrestler worth their salt doesn't go around writing checks with their mouths that their skills couldn't cash. A more level-headed Katherine would have bore in the forefront of her mind that Daisuke is a more established face around these parts than she was. That getting a feel for who he was and what he was capable of might be the smart way to go about doing this. After all, as far as the fan base for this wrestling promotion was concerned, if they didn't keep up with the indie scene, Kat would have more to prove here than The Wrestling Prince in this match up.

But this was no ordinary contest, and no ordinary night for her. As the levels of anticipation from the members of the audience continued to rise, Daisuke would gratify them by circling the ring before approaching Kat and looking for the opportunity to lock up with her. Katherine circled the ring with the man, still frowning at him for the disrespect he threw her way earlier. She reciprocated the Collar and Elbow lockup, but rather than try to push back or look for some kind of leverage she could use, the masked woman would attempt to knee the man in his those washboard abs of his! If this knee connected and forced Daisuke to double over, she'd follow up by hooking an arm around his head and reaching for his briefs with her free hand before attempting to lift him into one of her signature moves early on in the match: The Lifting DDT!

The wrestling prince seemed fairly confident going in this match, Katherine had already wrestled earlier tonight in Friction and with this being her second match of the evening, Daisuke anticipated that he wouldn't have to give it his all to beat Katherine. After all, she did just lose to Navi, who as far as Daisuke's knowledge was concerned wasn't even a good wrestler. Despite that, there were rumours of Katherine being from the indie scene, apparently she was quite successful there and decided to jump ships to the AFW.

Their early interaction wasn't the most pleasant one and now the two found themselves circling each other in the middle of the ring which eventually lead to a heated collar and elbow grapple. Seconds into the grapple, the masked kitty wrestler quickly raised her knee up against the prince's chiselled abs to double him over infront of her as he staggered back a step, momentarily catching his breath.

"Ouff! Oww" he grunted.

The next thing he felt was her arm wrap around his head and her free hand grabbing the waistband of his briefs to pull them up before she went down on her butt and drove his head first into the canvas

*THUD*

After a bit of a struggle, The Super Kitty found herself able to create an opportunity and hit The Prince with one of her signature moves. After planting Daisuke head-first into the mat, she was quick to follow up. If Daisuke landed on his back, she'd roll the man over with relative ease before attempting her next move. Kat would jump and come down hard on the man's back with a knee! If she connected, she'd comment before attempting another move.

"That one was for all the talented indie stars you insulted!" She'd say before attempting to take a seat on Daisuke's back. She'd try to drape the man's arms over her well-toned thighs before cupping his chin and trying to pull him back into a Camel Clutch! "This is for talking crap about my mask!" She'd scream as she attempted to test the man's flexibility by pulling back hard and contorting his back, aiming for the same spot yet again!

If Kat's offense was successful and she managed to get an early lead, she audience would show their support by cheering for her as she began to work on Daisuke's back. An apt choice given that it's an area that her finisher targets.

After the initial struggle in the grapple, Daisuke found himself in trouble as Kat dumped him head first into the ring canvas with a classic DDT. He let out a loud groan while clutching his head as he shifted onto his back and try to roll away to the ropes but Katherine was having none of that. She rolled him onto his belly and then jumped up to strike his back with her knee, making him scream in pain.

She was no creampuff, she wanted to show Daisuke what a real wrestler wrestles like. Within the opening moments of the match, the prince was now trapped in a camel clutch submission. With the pain in his back fresh from that knee strike, the hold felt even worse as his head was pulled back, putting alot of pressure on his back.

"Auurgghh!" he groaned in pain, his arms wriggling as they made their way off her thighs to grab at her ankles, he tried to tug at them and try to make her unsettled and get dis-balanced from her seated position.

The Super Kitty wasted no time with bringing the pain to Prince. She got right down to business and was already torquing his back in a simple, but effective Camel Clutch hold. As she continued flexing her muscles whilst pulling back and applying all the pressure she could, Daisuke would eventually attempt to create an opening by freeing his arms and pulling Kat's ankle to the side. While this did cause her to lose balance, she'd attempt to apply her technical wrestling background to salvage the situation.

As her foot was dragged to the side, she'd maintain her balance by dropping to a knee on that side. Katherine would pull her opponent's head up and back before reaching for his arm on the other side and pulling it back up to her thigh before cupping his chin with both hands yet again and applying a Half Camel Clutch! If she was successful in doing so, she'd pull back again before looking down at Takeuchi and asserting herself: "You thought it'd be that easy?!" Katherine would maintain the hold for a few more seconds before finally letting go and getting up off of him.

Katherine was in no mood for games tonight. She was straight up business and the prince was soon to realise that. Wasting no time at all, she transitioned the lock up into a camel clutch after quickly taking Daisuke down on his belly. She got the first submission of the match and Daisuke was already in trouble. However, the resilient prince managed to wriggle and struggle his way out of the hold- atleast partially. After freeing his arms and pulling Kat's ankle to the side to try and topple her over to one side, it seemed his tactic would work until The Super Kitty managed to maintain her balance by dropping to a knee on the side she was losing balance on.

Katherine would pull Daisuke's head up and back before reaching for his arm on the other side and pulling it back up to her thigh before cupping his chin with both hands yet again and applying a Half Camel Clutch! She managed to salvage the move and transition it into a half clutch, pulling his head back even further while looking down on him and taunting him. "Hrugh! L-let go" he moaned before his free arm to grab at her hands which were locked around his chin, trying to pry them off.

He didn't have to do it for long though as Katherine would maintain the hold for a few more seconds before finally letting go and getting up off of him. Daisuke rolled over onto his back, arching upwards a bit as his back was really feeling sore right about now.

It seemed that the Prince was about to find his way out of the hold of his own accord. But shortly before he could remove Kat's hands from his chin, the masked woman released the hold. Perhaps due to fatigue from fighting this match and one not too long before it in the same night. Normally, Katherine would choose to pace herself after taking an early advantage. It was the smarter move in her mind, keeping more stamina to deal with a tough situation should the tables turn just seemed like the smart thing to do. But she was still in the state of mind where she wanted to drive her point home with Daisuke. The Super Kitty had a mission tonight to defend the honor of masked and indie wrestlers everywhere, on top of her desire assert herself over the Prince who so willingly and rudely crossed her. She'd make an effort to continue doing so by approaching the downed man as he laid there writhing with back pain.

"Not so mouthy now, are ya, "prince"? Hart said while gesturing with air quotes as she stepped towards Daisuke. Katherine would bend down and attempt to place a hand on chin and the other on the back of his head in an effort to pull Takeuchi up to his feet. If successful in doing so, she'd place a hand on his shoulder the other between his legs before attempting to lift him into a Scoop Slam - targeting his back, yet again!

Daisuke has underestimated Katherine and was now on the backfoot of this bout. Despite having wrestled earlier, she didn't really seem too fatigued at all. After suffering through two camel clutch submissions, his back was really aching- something that his opponent picked up and was probably going to target his back now. With him arching upwards and clutching his back, he began to switch to his side and then onto his hands and knees, gritting his teeth in anger as he heard her taunt him. Perhaps his interruption truly pissed her off!

He felt her arm cup his chin and grab the back of his head as she began to pull him back up onto his feet, as he was rising up on his feet he knew had to do something now before its too late. Getting pulled back up half way, he fired a quick forearm shot to her abs to try and stun her, if he managed to do so he would follow the first strike with another strike to her abs to further wind her out. If his counter proved to be successful, the prince would attempt to wrap his arms around her head from the side and give it a hard squeeze to lock in a side headlock.
