Diana simply kept her hold latched as her more agile foe jostled and rolled, soon bringing her legs across the mans chest to further stretch and bend his arm, making sure to add an additional wrenching of his wrist to further the pain. Whilst it became quickly clear that the Italian wasn't so much in the mood for the spar to end on a pinfall, she was quick to appreciate the rope break, breaking the hold before a non-existent referee could even call for one.

Even beyond furious, Diana would respect the rules drilled into her in her years of amateur boxing.

Albeit, in this case, she'd be sure to smack her firm soles on her foes chest as she pushed off for the release, soon aiming to roll backwards and onto her knees away from him. She wouldn't say a word, simply glaring at Matthew as she soon rose, rolling her shoulders and neck before assuming her usual striking posture.

Evidently, she was still yet to exit her foul mood.

Despite complying and breaking that crippling Armbar submission she had locked in, Diana's body language still communicated that she wasn't entertaining anything Matthew was saying or doing this spar, bar giving or taking moves. She pushed the Luchador away by kicking her feet off of his chest and worked her way to her knees while Matt had only just gotten to a seated position. He met eyes with her and ascertained that she was still in the same mood as before.

"You must be fun at parties." He would say as she began to work his way up to one knee. He kept eyes on his opponent, realizing that he'd be at least somewhat vulnerable on his way up. If his opponent also took the opportunity to rise up and meet him at a vertical base, he'd smile before attempting to lock up with her and keep things going.

Rising, this time Diana's body near spasmed with the over exaggerated rolling of eyes and shaking of head, as her opponent outright refused to to halt with his never ending goading. For the first time in her life, Diana honestly looked like a stroppy teenager not able to obtain what she desired. In this case, a silent opponent.

Keeping her own mouth shut, Diana moved seemingly keen to lock up with Matt. Hands moving forward, it seemed again that the Italian was about to grapple with her foe, likely in an effort to pain him enough to finally silence Matthew.

Only, he didn't.

The moment Diana was close enough, she'd begin something of a Dempsey Roll to her right. Such a movement was standard for the former-boxer, yet this time she aimed for a small twist, no pun intended. Turning her body fully, she'd extend her right arm up and out, apparently aiming for a rolling elbow on her opponent!

Diana's eye roll made the Luchador chuckle slightly. Despite occupying a ring with someone that was clearly fed up with him, he seemed to find ways to entertain himself in the form of these comments. Even if, for now, that entertainment seemingly came at Accera's expense.

Matt didn't win out on their last exchange, but he seemed to still be raring to go. The man got in range to lock up and seemed to have something in mind when he attempted to grapple with the Amazon. And those plans would go completely out the window when Diana successfuly faked him out and followed up with a Rolling Elbow! The blow would strike true and hit Matthew in his side. He'd hold the pained area and stagger back a few steps before turning around.

The Mexican native would steel himself and attempt to ignore the pain. If Diana had approached him after landing that big strike, he'd jump and flip backwards before attempting to counter her next move with a Pele Kick to catch her off guard!

The Wrong Sort Of Practice Partner - Page 4 Empty Re: The Wrong Sort Of Practice Partner

Diana had rarely had chance to use her sharpened elbows, given her repertoire was mostly straight boxing backed up by solid grappling, but she had the foundations. Foundations that allowed her to land the blow solidly on Matthew, twisting his head a painful distance and even turning him away from her in the stumble. Diana didn't even blink. She wanted more.

Adjusting her position so she wouldn't trip over like a amateur after such a fluid rotating motion, Diana quickly latched eyes on the back of her opponents skull. Approaching with ill intent, she would already begin to rear her body sideways, looking for likely a hook that would send the man flying. She usually disliked striking the back of an opponents head, especially with a closed fist strike, as it simply was not befitting of a regulation fighter.

Matthew had pissed her off though.

The moment she fired that fist towards the masked man, she'd find the previously occupied space now free. Her foe already motioning up and backwards, Diana could but offer a frail free arm up in response, as the brunt of the kick connected to the side of her head and shoulder. She'd grunt accordingly, stumbling backwards once, before falling flat to her rear!

Matt had assumed Diana would attempt a quick follow up, and he intended to avoid the harm that would ensue by getting ins some quick and effective offense of his own. He was lucky his kick hit as cleanly as it did. It connect with enough force to knock down even the famed Amazon, herself! His opponent's strikes were certainly something he'd be feeling for days to come, but for now at least, the Luchador was enjoying his bout against an unrestrained Diana.

As Matt landed on his back, he placed his hands above his head and began to kip up! Once he sprang to his feet . The masked man would turn to face her and step forwards as if to attempt some sort of follow up, but a sharp pain in his side would curtail his advance. While grasping his side, clearly hurt from the elbow, he'd comment: "Heh, not bad. in reference to the damage he sustained, which could have been a bruise or worse. Still, he powered through it. If the lady was still seated, he'd attempt a running kick to floor her completely! If he had risen, Matt would attempt to grapple with her once more, this time seeking to slip behind her and apply a Full Nelson!

Flat to her rear, Diana simply couldn't believe the fact that still, Matthew was talking. Glaring for a moment in an utmost dumbfounded state, Diana would seemingly ignore the pain from the kick, apparently somehow choosing to try to re-coup later from the agony in her skull as she rose.

As she did, she'd find her foe slipping around her, attempting to hook arm under arm. Diana was partially interested in how either would treat a tap-out attempt, given it was apparent she herself was no longer taking pin falls into account.

She would of course, not give Matthew the courtesy of a easily wrapped on hold, struggling with what effort she could produce in her dazed state, as the firm bodied Italian jiggled around the ring.

Matthew opted not to take a moment to regroup. His logic was that although he was hurting, hie foe must have been as well. If he could keep up his offensive, perhaps he could overwhelm Diana before she had overwhelmed him. It wasn't a baseless strategy, but it did prove to be ineffective against Diana, at least right now, anyways. The man's objective for today had gone from wanting to engage in a simple spar, to wanting to test himself against the full brunt of what the Itallian Amazon was capable of.

Ultimately, he was unable to fully lock in the hold. The two would continue pacing around the ring, looking for the opportunity to take control. Still, the Luchador would continue engaging her physically, mentally, and verbally. He had seen Diana in action before and had thought to himself that even after being provoked, she still wasn't giving it everything she had. "You said, I'd get to fight that Diana." He said, alluding to their prior discussion. "Do me a favor and lemme know when she arrives? I'd love to go all out, but not until she gets here." He'd say in a cocky tone. while continuing to circle the ring.

Diana was in a pickle.

Stop to re-coordinate, and Diana simply left herself open to Matthew locking the nelson in fully. Or worse.

Continue her vain efforts to jiggle free, and soon Diana would either back herself into a corner, or tire herself out. Or both.

For now opting to do the latter, Diana bared her teeth as her stoic frame and ample rear was forced to press and grind to the man trying to restrain her. The back strap of her wrestling bra would find itself grinding upon Matthews own firm figure, and whilst it was at absolutely no risk of coming undone, didn't help the infuriating and irritating sensation of the hold she was in. She'd make the somewhat ineffective effort to simply yank her arms downwards in a way counter acting Matthews attempts to hyper extend them into said nelson. But in such a posture, strength of arms did not matter. Her foe simply had the better grip.

Once more Matthew goaded the Italian, and once more Diana gave no response save for animal-esque grunts, her hair waving fully in the luchadors face for a moment as she gave a frustrated shudder, before her long locks settled back down to her shoulders. She was keen to give her foe the opponent he sought, but it was a little hard to do so when both your arms were restrained, along with the fact that any effort to use her free legs to gain freedom would likely be used against her.

It didn't help that her frustrating position and the words already exchanged between the two left the Italian unable to calm. Not with overconfidence, but had she bothered to think clearly Diana would of likely atleast considered means of escape by now. Eventually though, after a few more seconds of the infuriating lock, said means of escape would come to her, regardless of the fact she was yet to take anything resembling a calming breath.

'That..Diana..huh..'

Words this time staying hidden within the Italian's mind, Diana would remain turn a shade more determined to give Matthew the woman she sought. Simply of course, by dropping to her rear, kicking her legs outright from under her...

...in the effort of lowering her head, so that given Matthews lock upon her, he'd be forced to follow suite; with his chin finding a nasty collision with the top of her skull!

If this was way back when in his career, Matthew would be picking up the pace and giving this spar a fuller effort. Even when making use of his upper body strength and straining himself to keep the Nelson applied, he was very aware of the fact that it wasn't his go to style. In short: he really wasn't fighting to the best of his ability; he wasn't giving it his all. Their bodies ground up against each other as the two struggled. The sensation of the Amazon's skin against his own was something he wouldn't soon forget. But there were more pressing concerns.

The masked man had seen this woman in action. Many people had. And having spent time up close and personal, competing against Diana in the squared circle, he could tell that she had lost at least some part of herself. Matt of all people could relate. He didn't even really want to be in the business anymore. He had already done plenty during his career. But Mexican wasn't prepared to idle whilst Diana continued her descent. He knew there was a warrior in there. And he was determined to overcome Accera's stubbornness, depression, and sex appeal, if it meant dragging it back out of her. After all what better way to learn to have fun in the ring again than to test yourself at your best against a monster?

That was Matt's train of thought, at least. He continued to work the hold in an attempt to wear away at Diana. He kept it applied for several moments, almost as if he just wanted to prove that he could. And that hubris would cost him. Eventually, Accera discovered a means of countering! She hit The Luchador with a Jawbreaker and reversed the Full Nelson by driving Matt's face into the top of her cranium!

¡Ay!" He screamed as his own head bounced off of his opponent's! Matt would recoil and stagger backwards several steps before catching himself on the ropes. The Amazon showed him that her resolve would carry her far beyond this point, but Matt remained confident of the fact that it wouldn't get her past him! Matt wiped his mask to remove any saliva or blood that might have been sustained from that last move before standing up to address his sparring partner.

"You....you finally ready to do this...for real?"
