Rainbow Mika vs. Anesthesia - The Dark Nightingale Returns

The punch hurt Anesthesia. More than she expected it to. Far more than she would’ve liked.

The most worrying thing about it was the way that Mika could still summon such strength, even through the beating she’d taken. Her stamina was legendary through the wrestling world, but this was almost otherworldly...and worrying.

More than ever, she wanted this fight to be over. Before the wind shifted in a way she couldn’t control.

”It’s been fun, darling, I won’t lie.” Anesthesia wiped the sweat off her brow and moved to her downed foe’s legs. ”But I think it’s time we brought this to a close.”

Reaching down, she seized Rainbow by the legs and lifted them both up, tucking an ankle under both of her armpits. From there, it was a simple matter of falling back, lifting Rainbow Mika’s body off the floor as she did and flinging her towards the turnbuckle with a slingshot.

Mika was still clutching her temple and lying on her back as Anesthesia towered over her. Groaning, she shook her head, trying to clear out the cobwebs and kicking at the mat as she tried to plant a booted foot in the ground. She blinked furiously, trying to will herself back into the fight, but her own dizziness, pain and fatigue were working against her. She had been through worst matches, she kept telling herself again and again, and persevered, but her body simply wasn't listening.

She opened her eyes as Anesthesia said something, and then felt her legs being grabbed, elevating the powerful limbs off the ground. From where she was lying, Mika could do very little...except, that is, planet her palms on the mat and kick out, hoping to unbalance Anesthesia and maybe make her let go. If the later worked, then Mika, trying to maintain her balance despite her bad state, would roll forwards, trying to snap her legs around Anesthesia in nail her in a (clumsy yet hopefully effective) hurricanrana!

Part of Anesthesia regretted having to get so serious, wished she could roped Rainbow Mika into the sort of match that would’ve allowed her to take her time. A body like this was like a steak. Meant to be tasted, sniffed, admired, savored to the last bite. Instead, she had to rush through it like a cheap hamburger. What a waste.

But it was to be expected. This was, after all, the same woman who’d fought Angel for the World Title years ago, and could’ve taken the prize if things had gone differently. A legend in Japan and across the world. It was best she not take any chances and end it in a prompt fashion.

Of course, she would have to wear Rainbow Mika down. As she tried to pull her back for the slingshot and wound up having to let her go, she realized that might be more troublesome than she could handle.

”You-” Whatever insult Anesthesia was going for, it was lost when the street figther’s legs reached up and clamped around her head. In a moment, the whole world spun about, and the next thing the Dark Nightingale knew, her back was being slammed hard into the canvas, trapped between those magnificently muscled thighs. Not the worst place to be in normal circumstances, but given the nature of this match, she wished to be free as soon as possible.

Even in her battered state, an aerial move like a hurricanrana was almost second nature to Mika thought not as flashy as some of her other moves). She was practically moving on muscle memory as she latched her long legs around Anesthesia's head, before bringing said head crashing down hard to the mat. She winced a little as she hit the mat as well, but it was nothing compared to what Anesthesia must have been feeling.

She breathed hard, chest pumping as she kept her legs latched around Anesthesia's head in a scissor. "What's...wrong?" she taunted as she caught her breath, making sure to punish the naughty nurse's head with a powerful squeeze. Of course, leg holds weren't her forte, and Mika had no intention on keeping this one locked for long-- especially in her battered state. Instead, she rolled onto her front, her hold hopefully forcing Anesthesia to roll with her, and improvised.

"Daydream Leglock!" she shouted, inventing and naming her new move on the fly as she tried to use her legs to slam Anesthesia's pretty face into the mat. Once, twice...four times she would slam Anesthesia, each time the crowd slapping their hands in unison, before finally releasing Anesthesia and rolling away. If all came to plan, she would have given herself some much needed breathing space and left Anesthesia stunned in the middle of the mat.

Yes, Anesthesia had wanted to get between Mika’s thighs. In more ways than one.

No, this was not one of the myriad ways she’d envisioned.

There she laid, stuck between those sweaty, muscled thighs, trapped underneath the blonde bomber. The position alone would have been degrading enough on its lonesome, but Rainbow Mika had to go and add substance to her style. Anesthesia inhaled, then tried to exhale, only to find that her throat could go no further - Mika’s thighs were clamping down, getting tighter and tighter, choking her in the insufferable scissorhold with an even more insufferable name.

She thrashed about on the mat, struggling to get free, but her problems were compounded before she could hope to squeeze lose.

”You-”

Mika slammed her face into the mat.

”-wretched-”

 Again.

”-stupid-”

Again.

”-bitch!”

When the bashing was over, Anethesia was released and rolled over to her back, groaning as she rubbed her aching skull, unable to do anything except lay there and groan. Her head was swimming, lacking any coherent thought, save for her visions of what she would do to Rainbow Mika if she could just get up…

Unfortunately for Anesthesia, Mika was going to make sure she didn't get up again for a while.

After using Anesthesia's head as a drum kit, Mika rolled over onto her hands and knees, still hurting from the Naughty Nurse's earlier treatment. Wobbly as she was, though, she was still in this fight, and now in control of it for the first time in a long time. She wasn't going to waste this opportunity: if there was ever a time to defeat Anesthesia, it was now. 

"Get up," she growled, wanting to make sure that Anesthesia would be too stunned to bite her this time. Grabbing Anesthesia by the hair, she dragged her to her feet. In the background, her fans were going crazy, seeing this as the big comeback by Mika that they had been waiting for. Grabbing at Anesthesia's arms, she moved to clamp her legs around her opponent's heads, getting ready for a big finisher that would hopefully leave Anesthesia too stunned to resist. 

If nothing happened to stop her, Mika would lift Anestheisa up and then bring her crashing down with all over her force in a ring-shaking piledriver!

From ringside, Sista A watched all of this happen. Needless to say, she wasn’t liking what she saw.

While a part of her just wanted to sit back and watch the haughty bitch she worked with get her ass handed to her, another, more serious part of her recognized that their budding new team couldn’t afford a loss right now. Anesthesia had underestimated Rainbow Mika, just like she underestimated every-damn-body, but that didn’t mean she was going to lose for it. Not when she and Sista A were tied at the hip.

”For fuck’s sakes…” She hissed under her breath and moved around the ring as Mika continued to slam the World’s Naughtiest Nurse around, getting the better of her and setting her up for the grand finale. She could’ve interfered a bit earlier, true, but she wanted to wait for just the right time, when the crowd and their heroine were at their happiest…

Now.

As Mika lifted Anesthesia up for the piledriver, Sista A slid into the ring behind, gripping the Rose of Roses championship belt tight in her hands. The audience tried to warn her, but they were too late - the Harlem Nightmare was already running towards Rainbow Mika, lunging at her and swinging the belt at the back of her head.

Mika, it had to be said, was smiling right now. After suffering throughout this match at Anesthesia's hands, it was nice to be turning the tables on her, and nicer still to be finally showing her who the world-class wrestler truly was. As she lifted Anesthesia upside down, demonstrating her power in the process, she held her there, letting the blood drain to her head. Around her, the crowd were cheering her on, chanting for her to finish Anesthesia off.

No...wait a minute. Some of them were...telling her to watch out?

Something hard and metallic crashed against Mika's skull, and everything went white. Anesthesia fell from Mika's arms as she tumbled forwards, her arms twitching slightly as she lay dazed. Around her, the crowd was screaming in disbelief now, which only served to make the ringing in Mika's ears that much more painful. "Nnnugh..." she groaned, arms pawing uselessly at the ring floor as she slowly shook her head and tried to get her bearings...

This was not quite how Anesthesia had planned things when she made this her returning match. She’d wanted a grand victory over an established name, something to put her back on the map and assure everyone that she was still the force to be feared, just as she had been back in Rumble Roses. Instead, she found herself defied at every turn, and now it seemed like she was in very real danger of losing the match .

Thankfully, her associate knew what to do in such a scenario, and Anesthesia summarily found herself freed. While she couldn’t see from her position, the tell-tale ringing of the bell and the referee’s protests painted a vivid enough picture.

She sighed and sat up after Mika let her go, looking over at her fallen former foe. A pity, really - Mika would pick up the DQ win. More palatable than being pinned, but not what Anesthesia had been hoping for by any measure. Luckily, there was an easy enough, immediate way to vent her anger.

”Need a little help?” Sista A chirped, right before sending a hard kick into Mika’s side.

”Perhaps.” Anesthesia brought her heel down on the back of Mika’s neck and started to slow pour on the pressure, leaning forward more and more by the second. ”I wouldn’t want to deprive you of the opportunity to share in this, would I?”

Everything had turned into a blur now. Mika had always been renowned for her hard head, and her seeming nigh-invulnerability to concussions-- after all, one of her trademark moves was a repeat headbutt! But it was one thing to take a punch to the head, and another thing entirely to take one from a blunt, metallic object. Dazed as she was, Mika had no idea where that blow had come from or who had done it, only that it hurt like hell. She heard the crowd screaming in the background, their collective voice reduced to a muted cry.

A hard kick nailed her in the side, causing her to gasp and rolling her over. On her back, she caught a glimpse of a new figure in the ring-- the other girl whom Anesthesia had come into the ring with-- before she saw Anesthesia herself looking down at her, stepping down with her boot onto her exposed throat.

"Gggk!" she gasped as the naughty nurse cruelly choked her. She grabbed at her opponent's boot and tried in vain to pry it off, as her legs kicked up frantically. Around them, the audience was booing, and the ref girl was suddenly in Anesthesia's face, demanding that she release Mika. Whatever the ref girl was doing, it wasn't helping: Mika couldn't breathe, and the pressure on her throat was increasing and increasing.

A thought came to her mind. My god, this crazy girl is going to kill me. 


Just as her vision began to go grey, however, Mika saw a flash of red in the corner of her vision. Even with things fogging up as they were, she knew the sight of Nadeshiko when she saw her.

"HYAAAA! Nadeshiko shouted as she ran into the ring, hoping to use the element of surprise. Leaping up, she would try to hit Anesthesia with an airborne scissor while grabbing Sista A's head, hoping to flip both of them over in a surprising and brutal airborne takedown!
