Thanks for the good times, Rhap. You were one of the greatest, most creative writers I've ever worked with on this site, and I always enjoyed out talks over Skype. I know sometimes it might've seemed like it was empty flattery when I told you how great you were, but I meant every word of it. You're awesome, and I'll miss you dearly.

I probably owe you guys an apology for this, I kind of dropped off the map without warning and presumably screwed a bunch of people over.  I mean even if you don't hold it against me I should at least give you an explanation.

Uh, the elevator pitch.  I had a nervous breakdown, tried to kill myself, and basically got confined for a couple weeks.  It sucked.  (the confinement part, that is.  the actual suicide attempt was pretty liberating, and if nothing else I guess I probably learned what my limits are, which'll be useful next time, ha ha.)  I would not recommend it for people who aren't me.  Anyway it was not due to anybody or anything here and you guys are fine and I didn't leave because anybody, I dunno, offended me or anything.

Acuya, Tai, Liesmith, Tat, anybody else I was working with at the time - sorry.  I'm the worst.  My talents are exclusively centered around Ruining Everything.  My bad.

this is not an "i'm back" post - I'm not back, I'm never going to be back.  I probably couldn't muster up enough creativity to write anymore if I made it my full-time job; I'm on a ton of medications I can't even pronounce and all the inspiration's gone out of life anyway.  I just figured you guys definitely deserved to know nothing that happened was your fault or that kind of thing or actually I'm rambling and should probably cut it off here.  Uh, if anybody wants my characters, you can have them.
