The Start Of Something Beautiful 8p6Khgi

It had been many months since Hikaru Furutani had embarked on his career as a wrestling manager, months that he had put to good use. Analysing classic promo's both in and outside of AFW, reading every book he could on the matter; hell, even going through the painstaking embarrassment of charisma classes. He'd grown to a notable skill, his past life as a amateur wrestler already giving him heaps of knowledge on both the tending and caring of anyone under his management. But being skilled at such tending wasn't exactly relevant with the first client he'd so sought to get under his name. Now, sat at his desk with his feet raised to the table, a small monitor flicking yet more classics from AFW's video library, Hikaru put pen to lips as he again pondered a question he'd been pondering for weeks since his fateful entrance to a certain bar.

How do you resurrect the dead?

In a metaphorical sense of course, but as Hikaru pondered over the question for a timeless period, he began to think it literal. His first client, Karen Starring, had indeed become somewhat dead. Whatever notable achievements she'd gained in the past against strong names had long been forgotten, as a long list of women began to claim victory over Karen, one after the other. Jessica Wright in particular, took great joy out of breaking Karen, ending their match in spectacular fashion that gave more than enough reason for Karen to consider her place in the company altogether like she did. Jessica's dominant victory however, was merely the straw that broke the back on Karen's current slump.

Having taken over officially as the blonde's manager, Hikaru had already siphoned through what was a near bucket load of match offers. None of which held the amazon in regard; the words 'easy-win' and 'squash match' almost a more common sight than Karen's name itself. Hikaru himself was beyond puzzled at the thought of trying to rebuild a woman who couldn't be taken seriously any more at even the lowest of levels.

It was but a few moments later, that the woman herself made an appearance; the ears of the amazon apparently burning. Bursting through the door, the amazon had something of a dark grin on her face- a grin not seen on Karen's lips for near months now in the ring. But beyond the surprising smile, Hikaru's eyes fell to something beyond that; the amazon had dyed her hair. Completely black.

Clad in something of a tight fitting hoody that barely hid the beyond-large chest underneath it, alongside tight fitting jeans that too left little to the imagination, the amaon stopped in her tracks before her managers desk. In her hands lied a thick black bin bag; a list of paper held underneath the woman's arm, kept between bicep and her great chest.

"I see you're doing well...and taken to changing your appearance..." Hikaru muttered, removing the pen from his mouth as his eyes flickered back and forth between the small television screen, and his amazon client before him.

"There it is" Karen replied flatly, before extending the black bag and tipping it over the mans relatively empty desk, the paper from under her arm falling to the floor. On said desk, now laid an outfit familiar to those acquainted with the woman.

"Heh...indeed..." Hikaru slowly brought his legs to the ground, before leaning forward, extending hand to the clothing that now lay on his desk, inspecting it in the least perverted manner he could exhume. Lifting up the bunny ears that once sat on the amazons head prior to every match, the man would flick the strap between his fingers a few times as his eyes scanned over the material.

Boots. Gloves. Corset with tail. The ears too of course. It was all here.

Of course, Hikaru knew that the woman before him likely had a spare, if not several sets of her former signature attire stored away at home. But the now raven haired amazons point was made.

"So what next...wrestling in your birthday suit? I'm sure the tension males will love it" Hikaru flatly stated, eyes still on the desk as he finally put down the ears, before shuffling the whole garb slowly into the black bag from whence it came, likely for disposal later.

"No. I have something in mind." A tone as similarly flat as her managers, Karen would help herself to the one seat next to her, eyes never leaving the man before her.

"And what next. I've told you. No one will face a woman who barely reached a notable level even at her prime. You overextended and now you're at the bottom again, right in the pits" Finally sliding the attire fully into the bag, the silver haired man would finally lean forward with hands in front of him, assuming a serious pose as he tried to speak in a non-patronising manner. "...And quite frankly...I've no idea how to dig you out..." With a small huff, the man's eyes would drop a touch to the table.

"Funny you should bring that up..." Karen would be quick to pick up her associates words, before quite literally picking up the paper she had brought with her. Without wasting a second to organise the now mess in her hands, she'd throw it on the table before her, the sheets landing smoothing in Hikaru's fingers. Hikaru would quickly try to organise them back into what seemed to be the most obvious answer, before somewhat tilting his glasses, that to his somewhat mostly hilarious shame, were just plain glass. A old habit from a man trained to adopt gimmicks.

Scanning his eyes over the page, Hikaru was quick to catch on that it was simply put a list of names. Notable names, mind, if you were at all familiar with the woman sat in front of him. He'd slowly roll his eyes down the page, before he began to slowly catch onto the trend. Next to a few names, lay a small symbol, that given the individual whose name was attached to and their status, was easy for the man to interpret.

After a moment or two of re-reading the list, finally Hikaru would place the paper back to the desk, before opting to break the awkward silence that had befallen his small office. "And what do you call this?"

Karen at that moment smiled, her dark glare for once changing to something that might of for the first time since she was seen in AFW, resemble joy, before she opened her mouth, to answer the question that befell her.

"A start..."
