Duel I - Haruka versus Cerbera

The serious tone of Zankoku no Kibou To Yare fit Haruka's mood for this match. She clambered into the ring rather pugnaciously, settled into a corner and stripped off her jacket without her usual shyness. She stayed with her swimsuit wrestling outfit because it gave her the most mobility out of her costumes. She would have gone for gauze on her hands, too, but figured that Cerbera wouldn't be using such and thus chose not to give herself an advantage.

Masato gave her a firm nod. "Be careful, Haruka," he bid.

"Hai."

Cerbera... if I have to beat you in order to get you back to normal... I will.

For a moment the lights went down in the arena, everything was completely pitch black. The crowd was gaining unrest as the lights did not get back on then suddenly hearing the opening theme of Cerbera's entrance, small lights focussing upon the ramp, There she stood, dressed in a black bikini top with three white stars on the right side of it, black denim shorts with a toy skull attached to it.

The lights flickered on one by one, focussing on the ramp that led towards the ring, Cerbera quietly waking over it while giving Haruka and Masato a cold gaze that seemed inhuman. The Russian climbed into the ring, taking the opposite corner Haruka was residing at and rubbed her knuckles, she was going to live up to what she said to Haruka, completely destroying her in this match.

Haruka stared back. Her answering stare, though, was not cold, but actually concerned about Cerbera, as well as also determined to save her friend. Masato bore similar feelings. They knew what was Cerbera's problem. Now they would do something about it.

The bell rung. Haruka advanced towards the middle of the ring in the boxing stance she preferred, feinting with jabs but not really planning to attack.

When the bell ran Cerbera approached Haruka cautiously, occasionally taking a step back when she thought Haruka was going to attack, when the feints started to become obviously the Russian suddenly leaped in and drew her arm back before trying to send a rough fist straight towards Haruka's face.

The dodging Haruka felt Cerbera's fist almost scrape her scalp. She's faster! She launched her waiting uppercut now. Is that crystal enhancing her? If she staggers Cerbera, it's time for her own straight.

Cerbera quickly moved her guarding hand out towards the uppercut, slapping her palm against the back of Haruka's fist to make it barely miss her. She glared straight into Haruka's eyes with her now purple eyes, which almost seemed to glow.

Cerbera tried to follow up with a solid elbow smash towards the girl's face, though this being one of her strong attacks, she did not concentrate on her defence.

Haruka was startled to have her uppercut parried. No! She blocked!

Further taken aback by Cerbera's glowing eyes, she took Cerbera's elbow solidly to her face. "Gck!" Haruka fell back a couple of steps, her right hand blindly flailing out to try and keep Cerbera off her.

Cerbera took her stance back as Haruka seemed occupied, quickly trying to circle around and behind her and if succesfully, move in and slip her arms around the girl's neck and head to fit a sleeperhold on her.

" You're going down.. Permanently! "

Still wincing from the elbow, Haruka gagged as she was caught in the sleeper hold. "Nnnnhhh!" she exclaimed.

She began slamming her elbow into Cerbera's ribs. If Cerbera released her, Haruka will try to tag her with a last elbow to the face.

Masato nursed a new concern. Cerbera-san went for a sleeper instead of a strike? Why? Could it be- no, I can't drop my guard yet... still... "Come on, Haruka!" he urged.

The elbow barrage against her ribs made Cerbera weaken the hold untill she'd completely let it go, clutching her side and coughing out untill an elbow hit her square in the face, stumbling back and holding her face instead as she fell upon her rear.

" Ngh! "
