An Unexpected Meeting (for IndigoDragon)

One afternoon, Shigeo "Shindig" Jenkins aka Shatter Fist was busy working out at the Tension gym. It's been a while since he last fought in AFW and he was wondering when he'll get back into it. It was fun being on break, but he now felt that it was time to stretch out his muscles and return to the ring. Soon, it was getting late and he had to get back to his home. So, he wiped the sweat from his brow, sipped some water from his bottle, and started to pack up. While walking back, Shindig absolutely had no idea that what was about to happen next was going to turn this evening into one that he'll never forget.

"Thanks for dropping me off at Tension. Im hoping that I can patch things up more with him, ever since Michael made me and him talk more." Yoshiro says. She sat in the old VW Bus of Juniper Nayle, go was trying to carve something out for herself in Nick's group of friends.

"No probs. Im gonna be at Tension tonight anyway. Ive been doing a few things to the and shake th foundation a bit."

The two stopped in the parking lot. Juniper got out and waved yo Yoshiro before the two went seperate ways.

Shindig meanwhile would continue his slow and steady pace down the hall from the gym. He was looking down as he was reflecting on his journey so far in the league. Both he and his older sister, Alice, were encouraged by their father to carry on the legacy of fighting for their family. It did however felt more like being pressured into doing so, but they did meet some new friends along the way and sometimes resolved to be more peaceful and defend the innocent when not in the ring. Now that he's back, Shindig wonders how his skills will fare against the other fighters both old and new.

He was about to turn the corner while pondering this and he was thinking so much, he wasn't looking where he was going.

Yoshiro always had a small fear that she would get ambushed by someone while traveling the halls of Tension. If anything, she could run away. She knew where Nick's room was. Right next to Conza's...

She wanted to talk to her ex. Just to see how he was doing. Last Yoshiro heard, he was making a lot of friends of the Tension girls. Even a rather large woman from one of his most recent matches. While in her thoughts, Yoshiro turned a corner and bumped right into someone. "Guh!" She backed up. "H-Hey!"

"UGH!!" Shindig would grunt at the exact moment the two bumped into each other. He would stumble and fall flat on his back. He groaned as he laid there for a while before slowly getting back up to see who he bumped into. Seeing that it was a girl, he Shindig scrambled up to his feet and said, "Oh, pardon me, miss, that was my fault!"

He would hurry over and offer a hand and he couldn't help but notice that her beauty was something to behold. He would do his best to hide that fact in his expression as he offered a hand in assistance and asked, "Are you alright?"

She backed up and stumbles a bit to fall back. Be for she even fully recovered, Yoshiro looked up to see the man already offering a hand to help her up. She cautiously accepted it and stood up. "Ugh...I guess Im okay...."

Yoshiro gives him a once over before realizing she was still holding his hand. She let go and pulled her hand back.

When Yoshiro took his hand, Shindig would carefully help her rise back up on her feet. It seemed that her beauty made his eyes stay glued to her during the assistance. By the time she pulled her hand back, he would snap out of his trance and cleared his throat before saying, "Sorry about that. I guess I was in a hurry that I forgot to look where I was going. I'm Shigeo by the way, but you can call me "Shindig".

Shindig himself would bow to her as a small gesture to show that he is honored to meet someone new. Hopefully, Yoshiro feels the same way and forgets about the accident.

Yoshiro didnt really take notice of his staring at her. She does cross her arms however when he begins to make his apologies to her. Though she was a bit surprised that he didnt jump on the opportunity and try to challenge her to a fight or something.

"Alright....Shindig." Yoshiro says slowly, ready to run if needed.

Shindig could tell without expressing it that the other girl is looking a bit uneasy. Probably for the fact that they're both strangers and neither had any idea what he or she would do to the other. Slowly taking a deep breath, he would say, "And if I am allowed to ask, what's your name?" Shindig kept his hands behind his back to show that he's keeping his hands to himself like a good gentleman.

He can only hope that he doesn't scare her off before getting to know her.

He didn't seem to want to fight. But looks were always deceiving. Like how someone so small and cute would make a good boyfriend. Very deceiving indeed. She clams down a bit however. "My...My name is Yoshiro." She quickly added: "Im from Friction, so dont get any ideas..."
