Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Okay, so with Clash of Champions on Sunday what is everyone's predictions for the titles?
I would have Roman beat Rusev,
Kevin Kwwns to retain the title
The New Day to retain the tag
And Baley to shock everyone and become women's champion

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I honestly expected either the tag or womens title to change hands. Cesaro and Sheamus stole the show though (dat suicide dive though!)
TBH Backlash had more wow moments for me. Clash of Champions felt very much like another episode of Raw, which is sad. I really wanted it to be awesome.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
At the moment i must saz i enjoy watching Smackdown much more than RAW....
The characters just feel more real... especially MIZ and Ziggler are doing dame good the promos are feeling so real and are dame good... the main event is good too since a long time i like to watch Cena matches again cause there could happen something zou wouldnt think it would...
How stand it with you guys?
Are u liking the red or the blue brand more?

I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee Da Ba Dy)
Frankly, Raw's issue is that it only focuses and cares about the main even scene, and everything else is considered filler. Every backstage segment, announcer speaking segment, opening promo and other segments are all built towards the main event, and as a result, nothing else on the show seems to matter.
Smackdown though, tries to build stories and matches and feuds for its entire roster throughout the entire show. It's only issue is that it could use a bit more talent.
Plus it has more pacing, and its stories and matches feel like they mean something. Miz has been doing the best heel work of his career this year, and while it doesn't get the praise John Cena did last year, he has elevated the IC title and made it feel important, and this feud with Ziggler has been good. All the women are over, the tag team scene is getting built and getting better, with the Uso's doing good as heels, and Heath Slater and Rhino being incredibly over. Shame they don't have cruiserweights.
On the Raw side, everyone that isn't on the main event feels like they are just there to fill up three hours of time. There's only 3 women who matter, the midcard is pretty much just Reigns, since everyone else, Rusev included, is just jobber fuel at this point. Hell, Cesaro and Sheamus just beat each other up in 7 straight matches....for basically nothing, thanks to that non finish, and them becoming a tag team. It was just a time killer feud.
Plus, I like Smackdowns pacing. Both PPV's had great wrestling, but Backlash had great structure, and a good ratio of face/heel wins and clean/dirty finishes.
Night of Clash of Champions...had great wrestling...but I mean, out of 8 matches, only 2 matches had faces getting clean wins. Every other match either had a heel winning, or in the case of New Day, a face winning with a dirty finish, and Reigns winning still got heat. Not too mention, every match had like, everything. Flying, suicide dives, kicking out of big moves, just a lot of everything. Everything felt...a bit overbooked. The pacing and ratio wasn't as good as at Backlash.
So far, Smackdown is winning in my book, despite the advantages Raw has.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
they both went over the guard rail, referees and doctors said they "couldn't compete" (when they clearly could have and Cesaro was demanding they be allowed to go on), and it was declared a no contest
