Alcohol and headaches

Lia had not had the best week, to say the least. She'd tried to help her sister out and calm her friend down, two good deeds in one act. Instead, Lia made literally one misstep and ended up waking up in a trash bin for it.

Since then, she'd tried texting Maddie to sort things out, but never got a response. Calling her wasn't much better: her number had been blocked. She'd hoped Maddie would have calmed down after a few days, but apparently not. She'd considered calling some of her other friends, but she would probably just bring them down as things was...

So here she was at the bar alone to sort things out with alcohol, get her mind off things and whatnot. Maybe meet some new people, hit them up even. She blinked, realizing that she had to concentrate quite hard to read the clock numbers on her phone. "[color:d3e3=00bf00]Gwah..." Maybe she'd had a bit too much, actually...

She'd planned on just spending the whole evening here, but two guys had started a bout of fisticuffs. Well, guess I won't be staying here after all... She left her payment on the table, and exited the bar before she found herself involved in yet another bit of violence that could be easily avoided.

Thankfully, the apartments were still walking distance, and she was at least alert enough to get around without stumbling too much... but why go home? home is borrrriing! You wanted to meet some people right? Doesn't have to be in a bar... look, there's someone right there, they seem kinda hot. Lia waved hello, but the guy walked away without seeming to notice the drunken albino. Ah well, he's probably not all that after all... keep looking!

Akiko and Yukiko had decided to go out on a little movie date tonight (Totally p-platonic one, r-right?" "Y-y-yeah. N-no deeper meaning h-here...), having seen an awful live-action adaptation of an anime they watched once, and were now walking back to their apartment, laughing about how terrible the movie had been.

"Oh god, that climax. That was so terrible! They looked so stiff and slow in that fight! Hahaha!"

"Yeah, yeah! It almost made me cringe just watching it!"

Continuing to chatter loudly, breaking into random bouts of laughter, the two of them didn't even notice the drunken albino girl only a few meters down their path.

The next person that caught her attention was a redhead, but a second glance told her she was actually already in a pair. maybe you shuldn't go for them... they might be together already. Nonsense, you gotta be bold! Tons of other reasons people are together, not just cuz they're a couple... and so what if they are, huh?

Lia was generally pretty good at ignoring that particular voice's advice, but the alcohol in her system was making things a tiny bit more difficult. The worst that could happen, they'll tell you off, no biggie. Smiling, Lia would approach the laughing pair.

"Heey!"

Their banter was suddenly interrupted as a strange girl suddenly walked up to them. Given the... nature of their current profession, the two colorful-haired girls quickly raised their guard, unsure of the girl's intentions.

"Wait a second... Aren't you... Uhhh..." Akiko started to point out, but the name didn't quite come to her. It was that same girl Maddie had that whole falling out thing with, and who they tossed in a trash can the other day, but she didn't seem the least bit hostile. Which was kind of weird. For her to approach the two of them on her own... And reeking of alcohol?

"What the hell do you want?" Yukiko questioned defensively, recognizing Lia as well. Maddie never really got into detail about her relationship with the silvery-haired girl, but judging by the last time they met, the two of them were on bad terms. Thus, by extension, Akiko and her were on bad terms with Lia too.

If sober Lia was bad a judging of danger, drunk Lia was a step behind suicidal. "Ooh, you recognize me? Heh, weell aren't I popular?" She said with a silly smile. "Mmm... whaat do I want...? Weeell, I was wonderin' iff we could... you knoow, hang out together for tha night." Lia wasn't a subtle person, and being under the buzz didn't change it about her.

Although come to mention it, these girls did seem kinda familiar... ehh, she was probably thinking of a bunch of cartoon characters... she'd totally remember such a cool hairstyle.

If the smell wasn't a give away, the slurred speech definitely was. Leaning in close to Yukiko, Akiko whispered, "I don't think she even recognizes us. Ma-chan musta punched her lights out a little too hard."

Yukiko still felt a little suspicious, though it was hard to deny how drunk the girl probably was. Given how she didn't even try to fight back against Maddie back at that time, it was hard to see her as a threat, much less another fighter in the AFW.

Either way, whatever the hell was going through this girl's head right now, neither of them felt like dealing with it.

"Ughh... Just go home, whatever your name is..." Yukiko groaned. "You're drunk."

"Ehh? First, my name's Lia, not whateveryournameis... and second, juust 'cuase I'm a bit drunk doesn't mean annything!" Lia laughed, stumbling a bit to immediately disprove her point, and she ended up grabbing something nearby for support. In this case, that something was Yukiko's chest.

"Come oon, we can be friends, right?"

Yukiko instantly blushed red as Lia blatantly grabbed her boob, forcibly shoving the albino girl away. "G-get off...!" Akiko just turned away and tried to stifle a laugh.

"I don't know what the hell's wrong with you, but we're definitely not becoming friends!" If it didn't work out with Maddie, it was certainly not gonna work out with them. "G-go find your shitty sister or something!"

"Ooh, these are pretty so- oouff!" Lia stumbled away at Yukiko's urging. "Aww, why not...? 's it cause of the hair? I've been always meeaning to tie it. dye it. Diet. Err, just the last two. Except forget the last one." Lia spoke quickly, leaning against the wall for support now, which was noticeably less soft than Yukiko's chest.

"How 'bout you, miss?" Lia switched beat without pause, turning over to Akiko, who seemed to be giggling a bit, so she must've done at least something right.

Yukiko let out a groan, while Akiko stifled another laugh at Lia's behavior.

"Nah, I'm good. I don't think Yuki-chan here has the patience for you. I'm pretty sure Ma-chan never wants to see you again either." the fiery-haired girl held up her arm, while trying to sound at least a little nice about rejecting Lia.

"That's right." Yukiko huffed, taking a step in between Akiko and the drunken girl.
