It didn't became an intense waiting game e two fighters circled around the ring never taking their eyes off each other, Kyoko needed an opening to get in close without taking unnecessary kicks while Alicia needed a way to hit her without getting in too close. Kyoko was getting impatient and planning her next move when Alica moved in and wen Tfor a round house kick, this was her chance to take control as she ran forward her arm out ready to block the kick as it came to her

However, she was stopped dead by the redheads quick recoil as she changed positions and instead came back with a a die kick that Kyoko was know running into! The blow landed square in her stomach and put her charge to a halt. "Uungh!" Kyoko moaned as she stepped back one hand up the other holding her gut.

As she’d hoped, the feint worked and Kyoko almost impaled herself on Alicia’s kick with just the result she was looking for. She’d be looking for that next time but, now she’d got a chance, Alicia didn’t mean to let herself get in that position again.

Between the big redhead’s powerful legs and the way Kyoko was running forward, it didn’t surprise Alicia in the slightest that the brawler was in a bad state. Now she just had to take advantage of it. Not giving her opponent any longer than she had to for recovery, the kickboxer stepped forward just enough to keep in range. Then she swung her leg up and around in a semi-circular roundhouse aimed at Kyoko’s skull.

She’d have liked to go for the belly again, purely because she’d already damaged it, but she wasn’t getting that close. A kick to the head ought to do the trick.

It had only been a few good hits but it seemed to be all Alicia needed to actually start affecting her. In what would take more the at least 10 blows to her gut before she ever actually felt her abs falter was done by Alicia in two kicks and Kyoko knew she didn't get enough payback on her, she needed a different plan because this wasn't working.

Alicia came in again, this time looking to take her head off with another kick and Kyoko saw her opportunity to strike. Ducking low Kyoko would shoot downward and drive her shoulder in Alicia's other leg and with success she would be able send Alicia down to the floor and mount her to take advantage.

Expecting Kyoko to still be shaken from her previous kick, Alicia’s eyes widened with more than a little surprise when the brawler recovered with impressive speed. Before she knew what had happened, the Japanese woman had gone low under her kick and rammed into her supporting limb hard. While her balance was pretty damn impressive, that didn’t mean she was going to remain standing when that happened. The big redhead toppled to the mat with a crash.

But, lost balance or not, that didn’t mean she was just going to let Kyoko score mount – that was never going to end well for her. Before her opponent could get atop her, Alicia went to rear up, looking to get those dangerous legs of hers up and around Kyoko instead. If she could pull guard, she’d be able to stop Kyoko pounding her belly much more easily. And she’d also be able to put her thick, powerful thighs and expert scissor technique to work on her opponent’s belly instead.

Given the hurt she’d already dished out, she was more than confident in her ability to squeeze Kyoko to submission – if she could score guard.

Kyoko's efforts worked and got the redhead off guard and on the ground. However she found sucks fully getting the mount would prove to be a more difficult venture as if by instinct she sprung into action on getting her legs around her body. Kyoko realized this and stopped her attempt to mount her foe, doing so would be playing right into Alicia's hands right now and instead focused on getting her legs off of her.

Kyoko pulled away and grabbed the edge of her foot and twisted to to keep her from locking her legs around her as she stood up and if she did so she would hook her arms around her opponents legs and turn her body holding them to try and turn the attamot into a Boston crab.

While she’d guessed what Kyoko had been going for correctly, either she’d got the timing wrong or the brawler had been waiting for her to try that – grabbing at her foot, the Japanese woman stopped Alicia securing her in guard. If that’d been all, fine, but Kyoko had also hooked her arms around her legs and was moving to turn.

She might not have been at wrestling that long as a pro, but Alicia still recognised what Kyoko was probably going for – and wanted no part of it at all. Before the other woman could twist her over onto her back, she forcibly yanked her legs back towards her and kicked them out as hard as she could manage. Given the angle involved, she really had pretty low chances of catching Kyoko but she just needed to shake the brawler loose before she could step over and lock the Boston Crab in.

That would be seriously bad for Alicia’s legs and lower body, both of which she was probably going to need to win this fight.

If she could avoid it, she’d roll away to a safer distance; if not… Well, she’d be in a lot of pain.

Alicia really was stubborn when she needed to be. As soon as Kyoko really started to turn over Alcia began fighting back and kicking against her if she could in a effort to yank her feet away from her. Kyoko growled as she felt one of hr legs slip out of her hand but she kept her right leg with her.

Kyoko twisted her leg and pulled it backwards with her , trying to drag Alicia into the center of the ring before wrapping around her legs and with her arm and thighs, if she couldn't nail the Boston crab, she'd settle for an ankle lock.

Despite her best efforts, Alicia only managed to get one of her legs free from Kyoko’s clutches. And, given she barely had any leverage, she wasn’t able to stop herself being suddenly yanked back into the middle of the ring.

And then her relative lack of in-ring submission training came back to bite as the brawler went straight for another leg lock and this time the kickboxer wasn’t dodging it despite her best efforts. Before she could work out how to avoid this one, Kyoko was twisting her ankle in ways it wasn’t designed to go.

Feeling the first pain rip through her leg, Alicia just managed to bite back a gasp of pain. It occurred to her that she could probably find a way out of this or, at the least, last long enough to drag them both to the ropes. Had it been a match, she’d have tried or at least held on for a bit longer. But she really wasn’t about to risk damaging an ankle in an impromptu sparring match. So, the second Kyoko had the lock on tight, the redhead’s hand came up and slapped the mat once, twice, thrice. Her pride really wasn’t worth injury over and, hell, she’d given as good as she’d got.

”Nice,” She managed, hoping Kyoko would lose the hold quickly.

Kyoko worked quickly to make sure she succesfully locked in the hold otherwise she would risk Alicia breaking out again. This time however proved different, despite the redheads efforts she Hooke her legs around her thigh and and began twisting and turning the foot anyway she could.with all of her weight on the leg Alicia would be hard pressed to escape but was surprised to see her tap out so quickly, she knew the reason but still she knew full well that when it came to swallowing your pride and taking the loss even in a spar wasn't her strong suit.

Still she let go immedialty and got back to her feet. "Thanks. You had me going there for a bit so I wouldn't worry about the loss too much." Kyoko complimented her partner as it was appropriate to do. "anything you wanna try now?" She offered, she had definetly gotten her warm up but she was more then ready to keep going.

Losing hadn’t ever really bothered Alicia. She certainly preferred to win but, given a choice between a hard fought loss and a thoroughly one-sided stomping win, she’d take the loss anytime. That was even truer in a sparring match like this. If it’d just been a question of pain, she’d have hung on. But ankle locks were nasty and she really wasn’t willing to risk it. If Kyoko had thought less of her because of that, well, screw her.

The Japanese woman instantly disengaged her lock though and backed off, giving Alicia a moment to inspect her ankle for any damage. Satisfied it hadn’t, she rolled her foot around, considering the other wrestler’s words with a grin.

”Who’s worried? I just want a rematch sometime – that was way too much fun to be a one off. Right now though?”

She shrugged.

”Don’t mind – still want to work on your endurance?”
