Saturday Night Super Spar: The Outsiders vs Sonic Boom

The idea of keeping the pressure up on a downed foe wasn’t a bad one, especially when doing so kept a certain ebony giantess from throwing her strength around. But of course, Adrian was no pushover. Not that Julia would’ve ever thought of her as such, but the point was further emphasized when the hardcore champ flew back off the ropes and blasted Julia right in the face with a flying forearm!

“Agh!” Julia shouted out as the impact dropped her to the mat, hand moving over her nose. It wasn’t broken or bleeding, but more importantly, the hit had dazed and grounded the high-flying cowgirl.

Adrian's flight path didn't stop at Julia's face, the Hardcore champion soaring back past her before hitting the ground just before the ropes as she flopped onto her back. Couldn't have got a better landing if she tried, now all she had to do was kip up and keep the momentum going. Just put her hands on either side, pull the legs back and-

Well that didn't work, Adrian's attempt at a kip up just left her splashing around on the mat like a level five magikarp. Better just for her to push herself up by the ropes the normal, sensible way before shuffling her way along the edge of the ring towards one of the neutral corners and lie back up against it, one hand outstretched to beckon the masked cowgirl to her feet for stage two: electric bogaloo.

Unfortunately for Julia, she didn’t get a good luck at Adrian’s failed kip up attempt. Might’ve given her a good chuckle, maybe even make her forget about the pain the hardcore champ had just inflicted with her flying forearm.

Regardless, the blonde was soon rolling onto her hands and knees and started pushing herself back up. And just like she’d missed Adrian flop a kip up attempt, she also didn’t see the brunette waiting in the corner and beckoning her back up. Unknowingly the cowgirl was playing right along. Only when she was back to her feet did her eyes try to search for Adrian. But was it already too late?

Adrian was sucking wind in the corner as she watched Julia rise up to her knees, picking her spot and waiting for the perfect opportunity to head back in, taking a few steps before breaking out into a full run from the turnbuckles to the cowgirl, reaching over to grab her by the neck before she jumped.

It had been a while since she last tried pulling something like this, but there were certain techniques that just stuck with the former cosplayer, flipping over top of someone for a big spinning neck breaker was one of them. It did mean she was going back down to the ground but so was Julia, and she was going down with a crick in her neck.

As Julia groggily got up, her eyes scanned around trying to find the Hardcore champ. The sound of approaching footsteps drew her attention, and lo and behold, there she was. She’d found Adrian, but the brunette was already reaching out and grabbing her by the neck.

Before the cowgirl could even try to react, her body suddenly spun and dropped right down to the mat! “Agh!” Julia cried out as a sudden impact sent a wave of pain through her head and neck. She cringed and moved her hands behind her neck while her boots lightly kicked at the ground, and it seemed Adrian had now solidly reclaimed momentum for the Outsiders.

"Mmph!" Adrian grunted as she hit the mat flat on her back, not the best of landings: having her arms tied up in making sure Julia got the worst of it had the unfortunate side effect of making sure that Adrian didn't have much to break her fall with. Still, the damage was done and now Adrian could do what she had wanted to do earlier.

Placing her hands either side of her head, the Hardcore champion rolled back on to her shoulders and pushed up, leaving the ground for a brief instant before her feet smacked down and brought the former cosplayer back to vertical. "WOO!" She let out, celebrating her accomplishment of kipping up to her feet, making up for her earlier failure. "Nailed it~" she hummed while the brunette strutted around the ring.

"Adrian..." Rebecca sighed in the corner, the ebony giantess shaking her head before Adrian got the point.

"Oh, right-" The champ let out, her expression falling as she realized her mistake as she went back to business, moving back over to the masked blonde to hoist her back to her feet.

Julia groaned a bit while Adrian took a moment to celebrate her successful kip up. Had the cowgirl been anywhere other than on her back nursing a sore neck, she might’ve given some small, playful applause to accompany it.

The blonde half expected Adrian to go for a pin, but was fortunately instead given a few precious seconds to collect her wits and brush off some cobwebs before the hardcore champ had made her way back over again. And instead of a pin, she was helping Julia back up. And once she was back to a knee, she saw an opportunity.

“Gotcha!” she called out while lashing an arm out to grab around the back of Adrian’s neck, while simultaneously attempting to sling her legs around the back of the brunette’s. If she could cling onto her, Julia would immediately try to roll the champ over onto her back with a sudden, out-of-nowhere small package pin attempt!

"Wah!" Adrian yelped as she was pulled down to the mat with her shoulders on the floor, barely time to kick her legs before she was hooked up in Julia's small package pin and paid for her lapse in concentration.

"Goddammit..." The amazon grumbled as she stepped through the ropes, Rebecca looking to break up the pin before this got even more embarrassing for Adrian. Just get over there and pull the two apart, simple!

Alaina had been watching the spar, glued to every move the two women made inside the ring. Once she saw Julia catch Adrian off guard she let out a loud cheer and jumped up and down on the apron! However, she did notice Rebecca getting ready to interfere.... there was no way Alaina was going to let that happen!

Alaina climbed between the ropes and rushed straight at Rebecca, lowering herself and looking to plow head-on into the larger woman driving her shoulder into Rebecca's abdomen! "No way you are breaking up this pin girl!" Alaina shouted as she hurled herself at Rebecca! It wasn't going to be easy but Alaina knew that if she could catch Rebecca with everything she had even the giant woman would be stopped... or at least slowed down enough.... to prevent her from stopping Julia from pinning Adrian! If these two could pull off that upset, even if it was just a spar, it would put a lot of teams on notice..... exactly what Sonic Boom had hoped for!

Julia couldn’t see what was going on with the two powerhouses off to the side, but the noise was enough that she could make an educated guess: Rebecca had tried coming in the ring to break up the pin, but Alaina wasn’t having any of it.

“One!” Julia started counting while her partner held Adrian’s at bay. But even as strong as Alaina was, she likely wouldn’t be able to hold the ebony giantess back forever. But as long as she could keep her back for two more seconds, that’s all Julia would need.
