Izumi Uzuki - The Fallen Empress

As a child Izumi grew up in the Uzuki family, which founded the loaning corporation of Uzuki Loans and Finances, or ULF for short, which gave out loans and invested in businesses at the expensive of taking a "fair" amount of the profits as a royalty. At the time of Izumi's birth she was the only child in the family. Being a female, many didn't believe she would be fit to lead the company. As a child, many called her weak-willed, unmotivated, that she would be a better housewife to be married off to some rising male CEO that could takeover the company. As a child Izumi paid no mind to these claims, and even agreed with them. However, as she grew older she grew more ambitious. She made top marks in school, in both academics and athletics. She formed a marketing club to help students interested in business to get they're names out while still in school. She formed small businesses by teaming up with other clubs to sell things like baked goods and crafts, taking a portion of the profits for her club. She was a natural businesswoman. By the time she entered high school she had brought in tens of thousands in yen for her middle school, and hundreds of new students as a result of her marketing.It was at this point her father and mother noticed her worth and decided then and there to train her to become the next CEO of Uzuki Loans and Finances.

The chairman board was furious with this decision. These old and stubborn men refused to have a woman in a higher position than them. They demanded Izumi's father change his decision, that he agreed to find a new heir or be forced out of the company. Izumi's father stood firm, using the high reputation and favor those under the board of him to shield him from the threat of being removed. It was at this point where Izumi started to train herself in martial arts. Not so much out of necessity to defend herself, but to achieve a stronger, more masculine image. She was small, thin, and seemingly weak. For all her mind had to offer, her body and gender was still an obstacle. On top of school work, she had a private trainer to help her athletically. As she got stronger and continued her studies and training her mother had gotten pregnant again. Nine months later came Dai Uzuki, her little brother. The moment Dai was born ULF's board demanded for he be the new heir in place of Izumi. Naturally, her father had refused, as Izumi just merely had to graduate high school and then college before finally being placed in a position directly under her father. Too much time and money had been spent investing in Izumi becoming the heir to change it because of sexism. However, by this point Izumi's father had lost a lot of favor in the company due to recent scandals of ULF's finances, he no longer had an edge and was very likely to lose his position. And so with a heavy heart he was force to remove Izumi as heir.

It was probably the first time Izumi had ever cried, probably her father's first time too as he broke the news to her. She didn't resent her father, she resented the board more than anything. The tears didn't last though. Once the crying was done they both picked themselves up and Izumi decided to leave the family after graduating high school and finishing to years of college. She hadn't spent the years idle, and had made herself a small fortune while in college doing business and trade. With the money she made from her college years she bought out a gym and made it her own, a branch of her father's company to reach a new market, Uzuki Fitness and Health, which specialized in wrestling and MMA fighting. As a way to promote the gym and get it off the ground Izumi decided to join the AFW.
