Friction World Title Match - Kelly Conway (C) Vs. Akashi Tanikaze

The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and it is for the AFW Friction World Championship!!!

"Flashing Lights" by Kanye West started blasting through the speakers, the crowd looking to the entrance stage as the arena darkened with green, blue and red laser lights cascading over the arena, the bass vibrating against the arena structure as Kelly Conway stepped out onto the stage with a big, white fur coat hanging off her shoulders wearing big, bug eyed mirror sunglasses on her face, stepping out onto the stage with a sway of her hips, clad in her ring attire, her red boots smacking against the steel floor, matching the drum beat of the song flawlessly. The prized and coveted Friction Title, strapped to her waist, strolling down the ramp amongst the savage boos of the audience who dared to disrespect her. But Kelly paid no heed. She held her head high and proudly.

Her boots smacked against steel with each step towards the ring on the small stairs. Going in between the middle ropes, Kelly ditched her coat and glasses before standing in the middle of the ring, Unhooking the belt from her waist, Kelly Conway raised The Championship high above her head from the center of the ring as streaks of red, white and blue pyro shot up from behind her. The crowed voiced their displeasure with Kelly and yet they were in awe.

When the pyro settled, she made her way to a nearby corner and stood on the middle turnbuckle, raising the title above her head, smiling proudly as she greeted with a hail of boos from the crowd.

Your American Champion:

The lights dimmed and fog began to billow from the entrance ramp. The crowd was hushed, even though they knew exactly what was coming next. Akashi's music began to play and the murmur grew as the haunting intro played.

Behind the curtain, Akashi was still. Her body looked calm but her heart was pounding. She couldn't wait for this match and she couldn't wait for Kelly Conway to get what she deserved. When the music kicked in, Akashi exploded out from the backstage area in a flash of lights and pyrotechnics and the arena became deafening.

Akashi planted both of her feet and raised her hands in the air. "NIIIIIIPOOOOOOOOOOON!" She screamed, the crowd somehow getting even louder as they screamed with her.

She then burst down the ramp into a sprint and slapped the hands of the fans on the way. She dove into the ring and hopped onto her feet and starred down at Kelly. She pounded her fist into her palm and then began her dohyou-iri ritual.

Akashi closed her eyes and pantomimed drinking water and throwing salt on the ring. She then began to bow to each of the sides of the ring before facing and bowing to Kelly. She hated giving the woman respect, but she was the champ and she would not disgrace the ring the way Kelly herself did.

Akashi then settled into her corner and then stared at Kelly, lifting her leg up and screaming as she slammed it down as hard as she could into the canvas, shaking the ring.

As the crowd cheered on Akashi and booed at the champ, the camerawoman in the ring got a close up of Kelly as she turned around from her triumphant pose. Her image projected on the titantron. It didn't seem like there was much fear in her eyes. Or anxiety for that matter. The jeers only got louder as people in the farther back seats got a better view of Kelly. The camerawoman shifted to Akashi, getting a good close up of her. People shifted from booing to cheering as she shook the ring.

And then Akashi's image on the titantron shifted down and up. The camerawoman had suddenly, and violently, jabbed the front of it like a battering ram into the sumo's gut, before lifting it up and smashing it across her back. The crowd was booing fiercely at the sudden, dramatic, and seemingly pointless ambush. But as everyone got a better look at the camerawoman they all started piecing it together.

As the camerawoman continued bashing the sumo across the back with the heavy camera, her black hat fell off...revealing the brown-haired, red-eyed Talia.

Somehow, the crowd managed to boo even louder.

Akashi hardly ever paid any mind to the camera crew when she began a match. They got their shots and then they left. Still, it seemed strange for one to be IN the ring, but she paid it no mind, looking past her at Kelly until she saw something. That was the camera crashing into her gut.

The sheer surprise of it was enough to double her over and she was shocked when the heavy electronic camera crashed into the back of her head, putting her down on the mat where she was at the mercy of the ambushing assailant.

She could barely even grunt as the camera slammed mercilessly into her repeatedly, leaving her a barley twitching mound of fat and muscle, groaning from what was being done to her.

Talia repeatedly bashed the camera into Akashi's back mercilessly. Her face was filled with rage as she attacked the sumo. When it seemed that Akashi had been broken, the brunette seemed to just suddenly stop. She was heaving breaths in and out rapidly, and shoved her already sweaty brown hair out of her face as she just...stood there.

The boos continued to rain down upon her. And though she seemed energized and furious, her face didn't seem happy. It was consumed by whatever thoughts were running through her head as she looked down at Akashi. Slowly, the brunette looked up and back at Kelly, still heaving. Then, opened her arm out, offering Akashi to the champ, though her face still showed the same, serious look on it.

Kelly stood proud and tall as Akashi made her way towards the ring, looking at her while she rained with confidence, not just in herself but in her ally.

She grinned widely as the woman got in, their gazes never breaking, allowing her special friend to nail Akashi right into her gut, doubling over before the sumo was forced to take repeated blows to the back.

The crowd was furious and voicing their hatred while Kelly looked on proudly at Dark Angel, watching her releatlessly assault Akashi until finally, she was done.

And with an extended hand, she was offered to the champion.

"Stand her up!" Kelly barked angrily, trying to grab Akashi by the hair, pulling her up before trying to stuff her head between Kelly's legs. If that worked, Kelly would hook both of Akashi's arms, bend her own knees and jump, trying to slam Akashi face first into with a Double Underhook Facebuster!

Akashi had been beaten down pretty hard. The camera was leaving red marks and bruises and while she had only taken one shot to the head, she felt like she had been clubbed unconscious. She barely heard Kelly yell and only groaned when she was yanked between Kelly's legs.

"Unngghhh...."

Her arms loosely wrapped around Kelly's waist and then she was planted into the canvas. She barely bounced and just laid there, breathing softly as the crowd booed and hissed.

Kelly was wasting no time in finishing off the sumo.  The brunette helped drag Akashi up before the champ planted her right back down to the mat face first.  It was only then that Talia seemed to ease up a bit on her fury as she looked down at the unconscious Akashi.  Beside her on the mat was the now wrecked remnants of the camera.  The boos were everywhere but as always they all just bounced off her.

Still, unlike the time before when she had attacked Taylor and Nikolette, Kelly's enforcer did not smile. She merely looked at the blonde as if awaiting instructions or permission to leave. "She's done," she said simply.

Plowing Akashi into the mat, Kelly felt pure, unadulterated satisfaction, panting as she gazed at her fallen enemy with pure glee. She looked over to Dark Angel and extended her hand out towards her before bowing at her.

Kelly then loomed over Akashi, getting prone to lean over towards her ear.

"You don't make the rules... I CALL the shots around here! I run this! You don't get The Champion to do anything! I DECIDE! Kelly spat down at Akashi before trying to grab her hair again while looking to Talia.

"NO! She's not done! C'MON! STAND HER UP AGAIN!" She growled, getting off of Akashi before going back to her corner to grab her title belt, waiting for Talia to stand up the sumo while Kelly stood in her corner with the solid gold Friction title resting over Kelly's shoulder.

Talia looked from Kelly down to Akashi as she was ordered to pick her back up. The sumo seemed gone, barely conscious if at all. She doubted she heard Kelly's rant at all. Yet still, the blonde wanted to hurt her further. A statement had to be made. And Talia understood that much.

But the red-eyed woman hesitated at first. It felt different. It wasn't Taylor they were taking down, after all.

Though it wasn't much better either. Talia hooked her arm around Akashi and hauled her up to her feet. She held her arm around the back of the larger woman's neck to hold her in place facing Kelly. "I no naka no kawazu taikai wo shirazu," she whispered just audibly enough for Akashi to hear if she was even able to.
