Lightning Tournament: Round 1: Belinda Northman Vs. Hyacinth

So tonight was a very special night, Belinda was to partake in a new tournament, called the Lighting Tournament. Her opponent for the night though was estranged to her, someone she hadn't really heard much of not seen much of. Though she figured that was more her fault than that of her opponent, this Hyacinth could perhaps be a rather enjoyable opponent as of late Belinda had bounced back and forth between people who were either friendly and cool, or total bitches...so it felt as if it could be either or. Yet, Belinda was always kinda hopeful that she'd be able to have fun in a match and hoped that this one would live up to her usual expectations.

Now that she had put on her newish outfit for this match, she decided to check herself out in the mirror. She took a moment, tilted her head from left to right and she shifted around. It would do fine she thought. Belinda wasn't all that picky when it came to attire, but she had been spurred on by her sister to get herself something that was a bit more fit for wrestling and perhaps less flashy and more professional looking.

After a few seconds she heard a knock on the door, it was the stage hands telling her that she was up first. Belinda quickly hurried out of the locker room and made her way towards the gorilla position, waiting there as the crew got everything set up. The cute blond felt quite nervous, this would be her first tournament appearance and she wanted to do the best she could do, no screw ups...not mistakes...she had to stay focused.

Soon enough her music began to play out of the speakers and with it the blond cutie made her way onto the ramp. She waved to the crowd as she jogged down towards the ring, the crowd whom showed quite an appreciation for the young Swede. She didn't get as many cheers or as loud of a reception as some of the high level players in AFW...but it was more than decent. Belinda reached the ring and would climb in between the ropes, making her way towards the center of the ring were she'd wave to the crowd a few times, after which she made her way to her corner where she'd bounce a bit on her feet, getting herself psyched up for the fast approaching fight.

Hyacinth was in her locker room changing when she heard her opponent's music, "Well, soon it'll be showtime." she muttered to herself as she slid into her leotard and gave herself a light spank. Her music began playing and she exited her room, heading for the ramp. When she got out there, she found that the place was packed. People were screaming everywhere she looked. A sea of faces starred at her and at her opponent in the ring. A small smirk appeared on her face and she swayed her hips as she walked down to the ring. Once she jumped onto the ropes, she pointed the camera man to her ass and she shook it a little before climbing into the ring, "Hey there cutie, I'm Hyacinth." she winked at her opponent before heading to her corner for the ref to check her for weapons.

Belinda watched as her opponent made her way down towards the ring, she was quite a bit different than most of the fighters that the blond cutie had met in the ring here at AFW, but that only goes to show that there were all kinds of types in this company. When she finally went into the ring and introduced her to Belinda, the Swede would nod her head and give a kind smile towards her opponent.

" Hello there. Belinda Northman, it's a pleasure to meet you." The blond girl would speak out in a kind and courteous voice.

After the ref had checked Hyacinth for weapons, the blond cutie would in turn get check. When she was all cleared, Belinda would move towards the center of the ring and move down into her wrestling stance. Lowering herself, bending her knees and widening her stance, arms raised and ready to grapple. " I'm ready when you are."

Hyacinth grinned and winked at her opponent. She was cute, she'd give her that, but that wasn't going to stop her from winning this match. She needed this win, she'd lost to many times to too many people. She needed to get her head back in the game and win some matches, or she'd start losing fans and popularity. She went to the center of the ring to shake her opponent's hand before the match started, "Good luck to you Belinda, I hope we can have a great match up here." once her opponent shook her hand, she would back up and begin to circle her, looking for a weak spot in her opponent.

Seeing her opponent make her way towards her, Belinda would nod her head. It seemed as if her opponent was at least somewhat nice, which would make this match somewhat enjoyable at the very least. It was always rough when ones opponent was some bitch or something. Belinda would accept the handshake and then watch as Hyacinth moved back and began to circle her.

" Good Luck to you as well, and let's try to make it a good one."

Belinda nodded her head again and proceeded to do the same, starting to move around the ring for a bit. After a few seconds though, the blond would attempt to step forward and try to offer a collar and elbow lock up with the purple clad wrestler.

Hyacinth accepted the collar and elbow lock up, pressing against her opponent, she smiled, "Hope you won't be offended when I get you down for the three count cutie." she giggled and pressed against her some more, attempting to press her against the ropes. If successful, she would then whip her across the ring to the other ropes before delivering a clothesline. If the clothesline connected, she would lay atop her opponent and hook one of her legs. The ref would slide next to them and slap the mat, "One!"

The words of Hyacinth were cocky though Belinda didn't mind, it was all a matter if her purple clad opponent could deliver though, which Belinda would do all she could to prevent, as she wanted to do well in this tournament and show that she was not someone to be trifled with. The two soon locked up in the collar and elbow tie up, pressing against one another.

" Kh...I won't..because it won't happen."

Belinda grit her teeth a bit as she felt the power of her opponent, it seemed as if Hyacinth was no slouch in the strength department...though neither was Belinda, as she felt her opponents strength against hers, Belinda would attempt to push right back trying to make sure that they didn't move an inch. Instead she would try and ramp out the power herself in order to try and force Hyacinth backwards, attempting to force somewhat equally sized opponent towards a corner.

Hyacinth felt herself being pushed by her opponent. She took a few steps back before pushing back against her. She found she was pushed up against a turnbuckle and she grinned, "What now cutie?" she giggled and pushed her away before trying for a spear.

It was quite a struggle as it seemed that the two ladies were near equal in strength. Though Belinda did seem to have a slight edge over her foe as she managed to push her back and even force the purple clad wrestler into the corner. A smile grew upon the blond's lips as she was glad she had prevailed in terms of strength, it gave her quite the confidence boost that she could carry with her throughout this match.

However...that boost was soon shattered as Hyacinth let out those words, quickly catching Belinda by surprise and with it managed to shove the Swede backwards. Air was forced out of Belinda's lungs as Hyacinth's shoulder drove right into her stomach and forced Belinda to fall down onto her back, coughing out as her arms went to hug her midsection.
