Neske bit her thumb as she walked down the street, her ears filled with music from her headphones and her mind racing at the previous week's events. Her new life in Japan was off to a pretty rough start, the most notable point being her first match in the AFW, where she not only lost spectacularly, but got beaten half to death by her own partner for it. Honestly, for her, the week and a half she spent in the hospital was about as bad as the match. Neske wasn't exactly a social creature, but she hated being cooped up, and she had gotten on the nerves of at least a few hospital staff with her antics as a result. Hell, the fact that she was able to sneak in some products to dye her hair was probably sheer luck, and the janitor was plenty pissed when they had to clean up her mess, but it was something she felt like she had to do. Talking about her feelings wasn't really an option, she didn't even have anyone to talk to, so this was really her only way of expressing her mental state. Now her bright red hair was mostly black, with a few streaks and tips of her natural color left in for variety.

Her psudeo-random pacing came to an abrupt halt when she spotted a relatively quiet looking pub on the street corner opposite hers. As much as she hated the hospital, Neske knew her body was still not in great shape, and her usual rave was probably not the best option. Which meant, if she wanted to drink her troubles away, somewhere quiet and homely would be the next best option. The neon sign above the door just had a picture of a seemingly happy dog, and while the place wasn't exactly empty, it wasn't exploding with noise either, just enough energy for her to slink into her own corner and enjoy a drink undisturbed (as long as some asshole didn't hit on her again). Still, she stood completely immobile, just staring at the place from the opposite side of the intersection, before taking a deep breath and mustering the courage to go inside.

Of course, once she got inside she couldn't help but feel awkward again. She didn't know enough kanji to read the drink list over the bartender's head, but she could read it well enough to know all of her go-to drinks were not on the menu. Oh well, maybe some sake or something would do the trick. As her eyes guided their way down from the menu, however, a familiar glint of red caught her eye. The hairstyle was different, but the length, the clothing and... yup, as the girl seated at the bar turned her head for a moment, Neske recognized her as the girl she was partnered up with during her first match, Emily. Neske wasn't normally good with names, and part of her wanted to forget this girl's name just to spite her, but being beaten within an inch of your life does a lot to help you remember someone. As Emily turned back to her drink, an idea sparked through Neske's mind. An incredibly brash and stupid idea, but just enticing enough to go for it.

Taking a few quiet steps towards Emily, Neske stopped just about a foot behind her, just far enough for the redhead not to notice her with all the activity of the bar. For a little while, she just stood there, awkwardly, perhaps mustering the courage to continue, or just relishing the thought of getting some payback. After some moments had passed, she took a deep breath, mustering up the most mucus-y wad of spit she could manage, and firing it right into the redhead's drink.

Just one more bad decision... Empty Re: Just one more bad decision...

The days since that rather disappointing debut had been somewhat uneventful. A match every now and then had provided some entertainment, but pickings had been rather slim outside of the ring. In the midst of wondering if she'd be able to find any fun around here, Emily registered the sound of something plopping into her drink. Looking down, the redhead was greeted by the sight of a large, mucus-y wad of spit in her drink.

Fury lit in the redheads eyes as she scanned around the bar, eyes immediately locking onto a familiar face. Well, sorta familiar. Emily stared for a moment, unsure of whether she knew the girl with the black hair and red-highlights when she realized something. If she turned the hair red in her mind, it was the spitting image of that bitch of a tag-team partner she'd been saddled with.

Regardless, that bitch had spit in her drink. Well, Emily knew the perfect payback for that. The glass in her hands flashed as Emily lashed out, sending the spit-laden cocktail in Neske's direction but keeping the glass for herself.

Just one more bad decision... Empty Re: Just one more bad decision...

Well, things were going exactly as barely-planned for Neske, she got the bitch's attention and Emily seemed to recognize her. Still, she didn't feel all that proud for it, namely for the fact that she didn't really have a step two to this plan. As the alcohol sprayed her in the face, Neske quietly wiped herself down with a sleeve while she considered her options. She was, by all accounts, a professional fighter now, so she could potentially get physical here and really make a statement. Then again, the cops would probably like a statement of their own if she started that shit here, and on top of that, last time these two had a scruff, it didn't turn out so well for Neske. And while last time the odds weren't exactly even, having been piledriven into twitchy heap just before, being fresh from the hospital wouldn't be doing her any favors.

There was, on the other hand, a part of her brain that was just screaming for her to get the fuck out of there. It was a more involuntary part of her, and she learned to ignore it because it would flare up at the most mundane of social interactions... but right now it might have a good point. Sure, spitting in this girl's drink and then making a break for it wouldn't exactly paint her as the badass she was going for, but Neske decided that she didn't really want to end up in jail for the evening, let alone back in the hospital.

With this in mind, she took a few cautious steps back, not breaking eye contact in hopes that Emily wouldn't notice until she had gained some decent distance.

Emily stared at Neske as the drink splashed in her face, wondering if she should just let this go and order another drink. On one hand, she wouldn't have to exert the effort needed to beat that bitch's face in again. On the other, said bitch just spat in her drink.

Ah well, I'll take what I can get at this point.

With that, her decision was made and she quickly got off her chair and strode after Neske, intending to take this outside.

Okay, so maybe running wasn't the best idea. Neske was committed to it now, though, and with Emily giving chase, there was only so much else she could do. With a squeak, she turned around, breaking out into a full-on run, hoping her comparatively small frame would help her get around the crowd. Of course, the layout of the bar wasn't doing her any favors, and her legs were still in pretty lousy shape, so she didn't have her usual swiftness about her, but still hopefully enough to keep ahead of her pursuer.

Emily frowned as Neske started to run, clearly still hindered by the damage she'd taken during the match. Thankfully, the crowd wasn't too thick, and Emily managed to keep the now black-haired bitch in her sights as she cleared the crowds, also breaking out into a run as she continued to chase Neske.

Neske checked behind her shoulder to see if Emily was still in tow, giving a frown as she spotted the furious redhead behind her. She was also surprised by the lack of public intervention: usually when a young girl was being chased through the streets, someone would step in to save her. Maybe it was a cultural thing in Japan not to step in, or maybe it was the fact that it was another young girl giving chase. Or maybe it had to do with the fact that she wasn't surrounded by a bunch of guys she called her brothers. Probably that last one.

In any case, she ducked into an alley in hopes of giving Emily the slip, looking around for some sort of backup plan. It came to her in the form of an outdoor stairwell on the side of one building, led up to by a metal ladder. With some difficulty, Neske would mount the ladder, hoping Emily didn't catch up fast enough to get her now, when she was more or less defenseless.

Emily continued to follow, a grin coming to her face as Neske ducked into an alleyway, taking the action to come out of the public eye.

Perfect.

The redhead ran in to find Neske climbing a ladder, trying to make her escape.

Oh hell no.

Not saying a word, Emily ran up and grabbed Neske, intending to pull her off the ladder and slam her straight into the pavement.

As Neske continued to attempt her daring escape she felt a tug on the back of her sweatshirt. She attempted to shift her shoulders to free herself from the extra clothing so she could continue her climb. However, such a maneuver was designed for when one's hands weren't in use, and doing so removed her grip from the ladder. In a way, she was still successful, she was free of her hoodie and now dressed in her ring outfit (except, of course, wearing shoes this time). However, it didn't really slow her decent at all, and she came slamming down into the street below, arching her back with a pained yelp as her hat rolled off her head.

Emily looked down at Neske as she lay there, sighing. The things she did for entertainment...Regardless, this scenario seemed kind of odd, even to the redhead. With that in mind, Emily planted a foot firmly on Neske's chest and leaned down.

"So, let me get this straight," Emily said, "I beat the ever loving shit out of you, make you cum in front of thousands of people, and the best idea you can come up with is to spit in my drink? Do you get off on having the shit beaten out of you?"
