My Friend, My Servant Empty My Friend, My Servant

Post by Serpon Wed Dec 30, 2015 12:18 am

Sahar was now waiting in her house.  Her house wasn't that big, it had about two rooms and one and a half bathrooms.  It also sported a small garage and a small deck, though it didn't really have a yard.  In addition, the living room was pretty big and directly connected to the kitchen which was an average size.  Taking a moment to think about it, she could easily have someone else living with her.

The reason she had these thoughts in her head was because she had recently come in contact with her old childhood friend, Nicia.  It had been a long time since the two had met since Nicia had decided to go to America.  Yet for whatever reason, things did not go as planned for her.  Thus, Sahar had decided to help her friend by paying for her expenses to Japan and helping her start a new career in AFW but nothing came for free.  She had all sorts of things planned for her, including possible career paths in AFW.  But for now, she simply waited while she drank some coffee and enjoyed a piece of cake.

Sahar was currently wearing her casual clothing, nothing fancy, a black shirt and some black pants.  The first thing on her mind was making sure that Nicia was fine and getting her use to Japan and AFW.  Once that was all done, then they could deal with the issue repayment.  After all joining AFW was going to be a big deal as the environment there was totally different from what they had grown up with.  The purple hair girl let out a smile, wondering what kind of reaction Nicia would have when she realized all the thing she would be required to do.  The Egyptian girl would get continue to slowly enjoy her meal as she allowed herself to get lost in her thoughts.

My Friend, My Servant Empty Re: My Friend, My Servant

Post by Guest Wed Dec 30, 2015 12:40 am

A dark skinned girl with a rather messy, platinum blonde hair was standing in front of the house's door, looking quite nervous. It was a place of a person she knew well from her childhood, and that was the reason why she felt uneasy meeting her again after all these years. Things had changed quite a bit since the last time they saw each other. Instead of being back in Egypt, they were in Japan now, where things were without a doubt pretty different. It's going to be a fresh start, and this time, she hoped that things would turn well for once.

It took some courage for her to press the bell. The person she's going to see was someone above her status, after all. Sahar Abia, a friend, a master, and in one way or more, a savior for her. It's kinda funny how things looked quite similar like the last time she called for the girl's help back in Egypt.

She felt herself getting increasingly nervous. A part of her felt uneasy meeting Sahar again after she left her, and yet she also felt some excitement growing while she waited for the door to open. They had some histories between them, after all, and while they're not unpleasant memories, some of it were still sending shivers through her spine when she remembered them. That was probably the reason she came back to Sahar once again after her attempt to live independently didn't go too well.

The purple hair Egyptian continued to slowly eat her meal before she suddenly heard a ring from the doorbell.  Part of her wanted to drop everything and rush down to meet her old friend but that would be out of character of her, she needed to show discipline.  Thus, she put the fork on the plate before getting up at a steady pace and made her way towards the door.

It had been a long time since the two had met, was it a year or two.  Either way, she was excited to see Nicia once again.  She wondered what she did in America as the two didn't really keep in touch, something which had annoyed her.

Once reaching the door, Sahar would open it, to see her childhood friend standing in front of her.  “Nicia, it's good to see you again!” said the purple hair Egyptian as she would then step forward and open her arms, ready to give a hug to her friend. “How have you been doing, was your trip to Japan pleasant?” she asked in a calm voice as she then waited for a reply.

My Friend, My Servant Empty Re: My Friend, My Servant

As the door opened, the full sight of Sahar made Nicia blushed slightly. The girl was as beautiful as she remembered, and some. It's truly a sight for her sore eyes. About two years they hadn't seen each other, so she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't missing Sahar. She had to say she's rather surprised at the warm welcome.

"H-hey," she greeted, growing more nervous as Sahar invited her to a hug. "I'm good... thank you. It's been a while isn't it...?" she said while stepping forward to embrace her friend. "The flight wasn't bad at all, but I just never like being in a plane for hours, heh."

Dressed in a white crop top under a gray jacket, a denim pants, and a pair of white shoes, her outfit was quite a contrast to Sahar's. The taller girl's body pressed against hers was really something she's missing. So much that she didn't pull away for a while despite initially intending not to stay in the embrace for too long. For some reason she felt like crying, although she was able to control herself.

"How are you? Looks like you've been doing pretty well," she said after stepping back.

Sahar would close her eyes as the two hugged. It felt like a lifetime since they two had last met and thus the purple hair wrestler would hug Nicia for a few moments, letting it finally sink in that her childhood friend was here. She then let go and listened to everything that her fellow Egyptian had to say. It seemed her friend flight and everything else had gone well so far. “Well, you're on solid ground now. You won't be making any more flights unless you become a big deal in AFW.” said Sahar as she tried to reassure her friend.

She then listened to everything else that Nicia had to say before responding to her question. “I have been doing good. My career in AFW is going a lot faster than I expected and I have met some good people here. But enough about me, I want to hear about everything that happened in America. Yet first why don't I show you around here. My house isn't big but I can hold a guest, come on in.” said Sahar as she then made her way in her house and waited for her friend to follow.

Nicia followed Sahar as she showed her around the house. It's not surprising at all to see her friend doing pretty well. Sahar's family was quite rich to start with, so she probably had less problems to deal with even if she's starting anew in a foreign land. Nicia sometimes envied the girl, but Sahar had been treating her quite well despite the difference in their social status, even when she's working as the girl's servant as well.

This place might be a pale comparison to the one she lived back in their homeland, but it was still a decent house considering that space was expensive in Japan according to what she heard. It's certainly much much better than the place she rented in the US for sure. Nicia didn't really fancy telling Sahar about how she ended up begging for the girl's help again, but her friend had a right to know after bailing her out from her misery. Frankly, she felt quite excited to live under the same roof with Sahar again, so telling the girl about her time in the states shouldn't be that much of a problem.

"America wasn't all that great, really."

Sahar gave a frown when she heard that Nicia time in America was not that good.  She had always heard such good things about the country but perhaps it was maybe not as good as she had heard.  “Sorry to hear that but hopefully your time in Japan will be better.  If you work in AFW you will make just as much me and be able to afford a house just like this in a few years but why don't I show you around my place and your room.” said Sahar as she closed the door behind her friend.

She would begin to show her childhood friend around her place, it would not take long as it was a small house.  Once it was all said and done Sahar would turn to face her friend.  “Well that is it, do you have any questions.  Also you must be hungry, is there anything I can get you.” ask Sahar as she gave a soft smile.

"Well, it could have been better, I guess," Nicia sighed. "Hopefully things would turn out better this time."

To be honest she wasn't all that sure about picking a career as a wrestler. It never really crossed her mind even if she had some training from Sahar in the past. She did a bit of it a couple times while she was in the states, but that's pretty much all. At least she did kept up with her physical training since she liked to maintain her body.

The tour around Sahar's place was brief, much shorter than when they went around the girl's home in Egypt. Nicia had to say she preferred smaller houses rather than luxurious ones. Perhaps she would never really fit into the rich people type. Once they reached her room, she'd put her belongings on the floor so she could arrange them later. She was a bit hungry indeed from the travel, after all.

"Mm... Anything will do, I guess," she said to her friend. "You know I'm not too picky about food, heh."

Sahar nodded her head as she accepted her childhood friend request for some food. “Alright, go to the living room and I shall fetch you something.” stated the purple hair Egyptian as she would then make her way to the kitchen. Due to the fact that her house was not that big, the living room had to double as a dining room as well.

She remembered how her friend seemed to love pasta though to Sahar it was nothing special. It wasn't that she hated pasta in fact she found it tasted well but in her opinion there were far better tasting foods out there. That being said, she knew how much Nicia loved it and thus had bought and prepared some of Nicia arrival. The food was already in the oven, still warm as she would then remove it before taking it out and putting some on a plate. She would then grab a fork and knife before making her way to the kitchen to present the meal to her friend.

Nicia waited in the living room while Sahar went to get some food for her. She couldn't help but to feel a bit awkward. Something like this had happened before in the past it almost like deja vu. The circumstances were a bit different back then, but she ended up living with Sahar all the same. Somehow it felt like her fellow Egyptian had became a little nicer now, but she figured that it's probably because they hadn't seen each other for a while.

Her eyes were widened in delight and a childlike expression appeared on her face as she then noticed what Sahar served her. Pasta. It might not be that common of a food in her homeland, but Nicia's mother was Italian. She often made her some before things fell through between her and her parents, which was the reason she loved the food.

"Waahh...!" the platinum blonde haired girl exclaimed. "Y-you... you didn't prepare this beforehand j-just for me, r-right...?" she looked at Sahar curiously.
