A Hero meets his Villain (for Indigo)

Dave smiled to himself as he pulled on his brand new cosplay. He had to admit, even he never thought he could top the amazing Captain America one he did a few months back, but as he looked over the Nightwing suit, he gave a nod of approval, loving the attention to detail only a massive comic fan like him would have. Only thing left to do at this point was to put the suit through it's paces. Do some stretches and workouts in the gym, then check for any signs of wear and tear. Fix, then repeat. Simple yet perfect.

Shutting his locker, he made his way out of the door, ready to head towards the Tension gym. Not many people seemed to be there that day, so Dave was pretty sure he would be left alone.

In a pissy mood, Juniper walked out of the locker room. She hadn't been doing to well career wise. And as the self-proclaimed 'Rising star of the AFW' , she couldn't allow herself to take losses. She needed someone to beat on. Not for a win. Just to get out her anger.

And then she saw some dude, dressed up in some weird stuff. She stopped him by stepping in front of him. "Hey. What's with the....Getup? "

As Dave walked out toward the gym a tall muscular girl stepped in front of him abruptly, catching him off guard. She looked him up and down, as if trying to guess where he came from.

"Hey" she asked, "What's with the.....getup?"

"Oh this?" Dave asked, eyes widening in realization behind the domino mask, "Oh this is umm....it's kinda my thing I do here in Tension. My fans like it and I love making them. Just about to put it through a stress test to see if it holds up and all that, nothing really exciting."

She let him speak, but she already had her words of assault ready for him. She tugged on part if the suit. "Looks stupid if you ask me. Didn't think anyone would cosplay around here. Save for some real lames..."

Juniper smirks right after. She knew that would hit a chord with the man.

Dave raised an eyebrow at the girl. Someone forgot their manners at home. Then again, it wasn't the first time someone picked on him for his hobby

"Excuse me?" he asked, a little indignant, "If the fans like it, who am I to deny them?"

"I can understand wanting to give the crowd what they like but, this is a bit over the top. Don't you think? I mean, what's that thing made of? Is it even versatile enough for you to even move around in?"

She as bagging hard on him. Normally she wouldn't be so mean, but then again her mood wasn't the best.

Dave raised an eyebrow, "You...do realize where we work right? This isn't the most ridiculous outfit in the business you know. I've seen girls and guys with more out there costumes than this. I was going to test the suit before you stopped me to talk."

"Hey, we ain't talking about any of them. I'm talking about you right now. That's all that matters at the moment." Juniper then had a spark of an idea. She grabbed him by the arm.

"Then how about I help you test it?"

"Hey!" he yelped when she grabbed him by the arm, then raised an eyebrow behind the mask he wore.

"Test it? What do you mean by-?" he began

With a low chuckle, she lifted him up and tossed him over her shoulder to carry. "I love when they struggle..." She began to carry him over to the gym and a nearby ring.

"Test it. Lets fight"
