Eka Guramishvili vs. Bunny Bomber

Eka had been doing so well. Sure, she probably only ruffled a few feathers with the flying squirrel takedown and the figure four leglock didn't really get cinched in, but at least she had been playing offense this whole time. When the punch hit home, Eka was honestly kind of surprised. Right. Her opponent could hit too. She had to remember that.

With Eka's suprise came a brief reprieve in the hold. Eka's grip was loosened just a little bit, maybe even enough for her opponent to break free. If her opponent couldn't scramble away to safety Eka would redouble her attempt at the armbar.

As soon as Eka's grip loosened, Bunny yanked her arm away, ripping it from the girl's hold. At the same time, she twisted her body back in the opposite direction, rolling away from Eka, trying to get some distance between them.

Now she would admit that the girl knew what she was doing. Just not out loud, certainly not to the girl's face. The match had barely started and yet Eka was already pushing Bunny, forcing her to play defensive, to try and keep her from locking in any of her holds.

A shiver ran down Bunny's spine as she remembered the last opponent she had fought like this. Cassie. She groaned, and made a silent vow not to let this match end the same way.

She rolled away from Eka, and quickly sat up, starting herself back up to her feet. Her own breath was growing harder, the bunnygirl staring towards the Georgian, narrowing her eyes at her. Calm down... she thought to herself, before starting to move back in towards Eka, ready to start round two.

Eka cursed in Georgian. Bunny had safely gotten out of her clutches and all she had to show for her takedown was two aborted submissions and a whole lot of nothing. Her frustration was written all over her face: her jaw was clenched and her nostrils were flaring. She looked over at the bunny girl and noticed that she was well on her way to getting up. Damn. Not even any signs of even being slowed down. Eka wiped her mouth and stood up herself.

The Georgian girl eyed her opponent once again. For her efforts she was that much smarter and she would have to use that knowledge going forward. This girl is more slippery than a greased pig, the wheels in her head were churning as her eyes scanned the wonderful body of her opponent, what am I going to do about that... Before Eka managed to come up with a solid plan she charged ahead yet again.

Bunny was inching her way towards her and she probably could have afforded some caution but the heat of the moment got to her. Maybe it was all the built up pressure she had been putting on herself to win, or maybe it was just the reckless folly of youth. Whatever it was, it launched at Bunny quickly and furiously and tried to go for a lock-up. Eka was tall for a girl and the distance between them was closed quickly. It was time to see if Bunny would rise to the challenge.

Bunny may have been slippery, but she was on edge now, and too defensive for her own tastes. The last time she had went up against a submission expert, she had ended up in the hospital, and she was going to do everything in her power to prevent that from happening again.

Bunny was almost caught by surprise as Eka suddenly launched herself at her, but the former model was quick to rise to her challenge. Her arms suddenly came up, and she planted her boots firmly against the canvas, meeting Eka head-on. As the two of them locked up, she growled, and began to push into Eka, trying to gain the upper hand and force the Georgian back.

Eka wasn't sure what she was doing. A lock-up was usually the easiest thing in the world. Croc roll, monkey flip, it was almost quotidian to gain some sort of advantage in these things. But when Eka felt herself getting pushed back, she didn't want to hit any moves. The Georgian girl didn't want to send Bunny down to the mat on her derriere through some twisting counter or some clever trick.

She wanted to send her to the mat using sheer power. Eka had a wiry, subtle strength that was easy to overlook. Sure, she wasn't going to throw Akashi around or beat Rebecca Tomko at arm wrestling, but she had all the strength she needed to make the wide array of submissions she knew hurt. And Bunny was growling. That seemed to be a direct challenge. Eka's blue eyes locked directly into Bunny's. She bent her knees a little and spread her feet a little more.

If Bunny wanted to push her back farther, she was going to have to earn it. The Georgian girl summoned all of the understated strength she could muster. "I will be like the mountain!" Eka's oath was washed out in the roar of the crowd, but Bunny heard it. And she was the one who mattered.

"Even mountains break apart over time!" Bunny fired back at Eka, glaring coldly into her eyes. It seemed like the girl was getting fired up, and Bunny was glad for it. It was easier for her to make a mistake that way, and easier for the Wrestle Angel to take advantage of her.

She started to lose ground, a little bit at a time, first one step, and then another, as Eka pushed and shoved against her. After the second step though, Bunny began to pour in more of her own strength. Most people didn't realize it just from looking at her, but Bunny had a pretty fair amount of upper body strength, and she had caught nearly all of her opponent's off-guard with it.

She pushed, her arms flexing at she shoved against Eka, meeting the Georgian's strength with all of her own, trying harder to overpower her and force her back.

As much as she hated to admit it, Bunny was right. Mountains crumble and crash into the the rivers that flow through them, down them, around them. Eka's own strength and confidence began to wane. Bunny was stronger than she looked, and Eka was forced to take a few steps back. They were in the center of the ring now and every eye in the arena was focused on them.

The Georgian girl did not want to give an inch. She was reeling though, and in a bad spot. Her initial surge was met and countered and now Eka was on the backheel. So turn it into something you are good at, she thought, roll this bunny girl five ways to Sunday. Her pearly whites flashed as she gritted her teeth. No, that seemed pusillanimous. That was simply not an option.

For a girl as pretty as Bunny, her arms were massive. Maybe bigger than Eka's. Doubt washed over her as she continued her efforts to send Bunny on that sweet behind. "I fear nothing!" The wise among the crowd would recognize that this was not a taunt, nor a boast. This was Eka's pathetic attempt to bolster her own faltering courage and strength. She closed her eyes and brought up what strength she could...

Bunny simply smiled, a grim, thin smile, as she stared at Eka, watching the Georgian struggling against her as she forced her back to the center of the ring. She had this. Eka was trying her best, but it wasn't good enough. It was pathetic, and Bunny was loving every moment of it.

She rolled her eyes at Eka's boast of fearlessness, and braced herself, gathering her own strength up for a big push. She waited a moment, taking a quick breath to ready herself, and when Eka closed her eyes, bringing up her strength, Bunny responded in kind. She let out a low groan, and shoved hard against the brunette, trying to simply shove her back harder, wanting to push her towards back towards the corner.

Strength falters, her wrestling coach taught her, buts smarts are forever. This maxim was completely lost on Eka at the moment. Bunny was having her way with the Georgian girl, and Eka was losing ground by the second. Eka's eyes were still closed and her heart was beating lightning fast and she was beginning to feel there was nothing she could do.

Then her backpedaling foot hit something behind her. She swore in Georgian. It was the corner. The ravenhaired girl had retreated all the way from the center of the ring to there. Her blue eyes were open now. Against an opponent such as this bunny woman, the corner seemed like a very dangerous place to be...

Eka was about to be proven right. Bunny knew how to handle a corner-trapped opponent, and Eka was about to learn that lesson the hard way.

As soon as she pushed the Georgian woman into the corner, Bunny broke the grapple with her. She made a short lunge towards the girl, and brought her knee straight up towards Eka's stomach, trying to drive it hard and fast into her gut, a smug smirk on her face all the while.
