Tension Tag Title Match: United Kingdom Elite(C) Vs. Sion & Daisuke Kamiya

Sion was low and about to rise up when Ryan began to run in, though Sion ducked back down as Ryan came closer. The clothesline went up and over him and whether or not Ryan could turn around in time Sion would have taken a few short steps back before firing off a dropkick in Ryan's direction.

Ryan was hoping to smack the taste out of Sion's noggin there, set the pacing of the fight and all that. Then once that was done he'd tag John in, the longer the bout went the better it would aid the artist. Given his incredible knack for submission holds, perfect when the enemy was worn down as it was.

But alas Mr Knight got nothing but thin air, Sion did the simple thing of ducking under it. The young man clicked his tongue in his mouth out of annoyance, and of course in response Ryan did the natural thing of turning to face the enemy. First rule in a fight was never turn your back on the enemy after all, Sion was quick on the draw. As the enemy lept right up into the air, blasting out with a dropkick. Sion's legs firing out like pellets from a double barrelled shotgun.

Britain's paragon went wide eyed, and quickly brought his arms up and over his body. The impact sent Ryan staggering back to the ropes, not enough to send the big Brit over them. But certainly enough to make him lean on it, he hissed as he felt the pain in his arms. "D-Damn you!" Ryan muttered under his breath.

When Ryan fell back against the ropes Sion knew he had to keep on him, not necessarily to get him out of thing but in general, though if that happened Sion wouldn't be against it. Sion jumped back to his feet and went for another dropkick, looking to keep Ryan where he is at the very least if not sending him up and over. Though if that didn't take Ryan down and timing permitted for a quick follow up Sion would launch himself towards Ryan, looking to clothesline up up and over the top.

Regardless of how that exchange went Lina could tell Sion was going to make the opposition work in this one, which is something she'd like to see.

Ryan knew right now that his situation wasn't good, on the ropes was never a good thing. Mr Knight assumed the worst of the intent of his enemy, and that was trying to get the tag champ over the ropes. Which wasn't easy, seeing as how the young man was a big British bloke. But still it could be possible if pressed hard enough, something that obviously Ryan would like to avoid.

Sion was continuing the offence, firing out another dropkick. This time it connected square in the chest of the British paragon, earning a loud grunt in response. The attack hit dead centre, but Ryan had managed to secure his arms around the top rope. The better to secure himself against the assault of Sion, even if the lower body of Ryan looked like it slumped slightly.

John gritted his teeth before shouting "Come on boss! Get in this!" which was responded by Ryan in what sounded like an affirmative grunt. Sion was continuing in the attack though, Mr Knight kept his eyes on the enemy. With gritted teeth Ryan made to get down low, in the hopes of getting Sion with an arm between the legs. So that the British paragon could use his impressive upper body strength to lift Sion up and over the top rope, one counter was what Ryan was hoping for here. Regardless of if Ryan's opponent could hold the top rope and prevent himself from falling flat, Mr Knight would turn to face him while staggering back into the middle of the ring.

Even though Sion was sent over the top rope, with how Ryan was positioned it gave him space to adjust while in the air so when he landed on the outside he rolled into it, which made the landing less awkward than if he tried to grab the ropes and land on the apron. Sion watched Ryan as he moved back towards the ring.

As he went to slide in he kept an eye on Ryan and if Ryan made a move towards him he would slide back to to avoid whatever Ryan may have planned before looking for an opening. But if Ryan let him re-enter without any trouble he would get back to his feet and look to lock up again, though straight into it this time.

Ryan knew that the situation hadn't favoured him there, hence moving the enemy over the ropes forced them to deal with that. Thereby granting the young man time to fall back and regroup, time was money and though he was rich Ryan wasn't one to squander all that much.

Still Sion had gone with the counter rather well, a bit too well for the tastes of the British paragon. But every second had allowed Ryan to move back to the centre of the ring, and of course he was facing Sion. Mr Knight gave a small smirk at his enemy, who was too far off to consider a rush to the ropes. If Ryan was closer then he might have gone for the attack, but by the time he moved close Sion would be up and ready.

It seemed that the enemy was offering a lockup, Ryan lightly cracked his neck and would go into it. Far be it from him to turn down something like that, as it allowed the Brit to display his strength. Already it would be quite noticeable, pushing in with the arms and getting grounded. This was a speciality of Mr Knight, and he was going to put that to good use here.

Going into it, even if on paper strength wise Ryan had the edge, Sion knew that was only a small part of the bigger picture. In the past he has shown he can keep up and won't back down and didn't feel he would be at a complete disadvantage in a lock up. If he was why go for it? If Ryan got Sion moving, he would make sure his was positioned so he could shift towards the direction of his team's corner if Ryan was one to back an opponent up, though if he was able to he would try to break the lockup and go behind Ryan, looking for a belly to back suplex. Though if he did do that he'd have to be sure of his timing since from the lock up Ryan could be plotting something as well.

Either way Daisuke kept an eye on their positioning. Not sure if things would be coming her way or not, but she was alert should that happen.

Mr Knight always did enjoy doing test of strength lockups, namely as it allowed him to display his highly trained physique. In doing so he could whittle down the enemy morale as well possibly, and set the pacing of the fight. Indeed there was possibly only a few in Tension that could out muscle the British paragon when it came to this.

Sion was good, he'd be given that. The enemy moved to make sure he had his bases covered, clever. And it also seemed that the challenger was planning something, for he broke the lockup and attempted to shift behind Mr Knight. In response to this alarm bells rung in the head of Ryan, as soon as Sion wrapped his arms around Ryan he'd respond by firing out elbow shots out. Aimed right at the jaw, hopefully enough to stun Sion.

If that worked Ryan would try to turn around, and send Sion to the ropes with an Irish whip. This was going to be followed with Mr Knight taking the ropes to the side of the enemy, in the hopes of rushing into the enemy and bowling them over. Of course there could be different speeds with regards to the two in the ring, so this might result in no collisions between Ryan and Sion.

With how they went off the ropes Sion was coming off a little bit faster so he avoided a collision on the first go around, and momentum kept him going so he went off the ropes again and if they were going at the same speed he'd avoid a second possible collision. After hitting the ropes again he is able to stop in the middle of the ring and puts his hand up, gesturing for Ryan to stop. If Ryan did slam on the breaks as well Sion would point to the ceiling and tell him look up. If Ryan looked up Sion would give him a chop to the upper part of the chest, with some added force to it to make him move back a couple of feet, if not make him take a back bump.

Motion was a funny thing sometimes, here Ryan was expecting to bowl right into Sion and knock him down like a bomb and a brick wall. Wasn't possible to turn em into human pancakes, so that was going to have be the next best thing.

But no, no Sion in his way. No sending them flying, what Ryan was doing though was giving a fine display of agility for a big British man. Which was normally all well and good, however again no contact with the enemy. And now Ryan felt like a tool, Sion stopped and made a gesture. The one half of the tag champs obliged, giving a light pant under his breath.

Sion told him to look up, on instinct Mr Knight did that. And promtply kicked himself for doing that, because Sion took a cheap shot. There was a loud slapping noise, and it made a nice little hand print on the pale chest that was the paragon's armour.

Ryan hissed and stepped back a bit, clutching the attacked area. So that was how Sion was going to play it, fine then. He'd play along. Ryan would move forward and point at Sion's midriff and quickly say "What's that down there?!" if the opponent did look down Mr Knight would quickly deliver an uppercut to Sion. Normally Ryan didn't play these sorts of games in the ring, moreso in a title defence. But heck, the enemy started it and Mr Knight was simply returning the favour.
