Taking a Few Days Off

Sun Sep 17, 2017 3:46 pm by RadiantKarna332

Well, I'm kind of burned out these days, so I'll be taking a break from RPing for a while. Maybe a few days? Sorry for the inconvenience, guys. Sad

Queen of the Mountain Match

Sat Sep 16, 2017 7:58 pm by LtLukas

So my homegirl, Eka, just recently got hooked up with a new costume, and she wants to show it off. I was thinking she could be in a match where you try to push or pull your opponent (or opponents!) off of some sort of structure. We can talk about how it goes and spots in private messages.

I'll copy/paste what I said to you earlier in YIM:

afwalex: PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT
afwalex: here's the plot
afwalex: Charlize Theron's character steals a bunch of breeding girls from a warlord to free them, and Max helps out.
afwalex: THAT'S THE ENTIRE PLOT
afwalex: IT DOESN'T NEED A PLOT BECAUSE IT'S THE GREATEST FUCKING CAR CHASE EVER
afwalex: YOU WANT A PLOT? FUCK YOU. GO WATCH A CHRISTOPHER NOLAN MOVIE
afwalex: FURY ROAD IS ABOUT A HIGH SPEED ACTION PACKED CHASE THROUGH THE DESERT

So no, you don't need to see the other three movies to understand it. ;P

You'll generally understand Max's character individually better if you've seen the others, but you don't necessarily have to to understand this movie or the plot.

The movie's not even really about Max all that much. It's much more about Furiosa.

Honestly, their were three themes that were presented in the series.  (Going with MM, TRW, and BT)  They were as follow:

-Revenge (Mad Max)
-Salvation (The Road Warrior)
-Redemption (Beyond Thunderdome)

So if anything, Fury Road may explain what helped set his path to salvation.  The second movie had a narration to it and the third one had a small narration part at the end if I remember correctly.

All of them were really good since they focused on his path to becoming whole again as a human.
