SS 15 Falls Count Anywhere: River Styx Vs. Angel

Angel hit the floor hard and Styx came down on her top, her body easily eclipsing the smaller woman. Her eyes were feral, her breath was rapid, her mind was racing. Instinct kicked in, and she reached for the nearest thing she could get her hands - one of the many scattered chair that were laying around. She grabbed hold of the leg, raised it up above Angel's head, and...

...the stupid thing was snatched out of her hands by the referee. "This isn't a hardcore match, stop!" She wisely jumped out of reach.

Styx made the temperature drop with her glare, but she was quick to turn her anger back where it was better served. She pushed off of Angel's shoulders and stood, panting all the way. Her boot went up. "Stay." Down her boot went, right in the middle of the lovely tanned chest, stomping her hard. "Down!"

She kept her boot pressed, too, and leaned into for some added weight, as she went for the pin. The referee rushed over and dropped to her knees, careful not sit on the scattered glass while she started the count. "1...!"

Angel's eyes were closed, as she lied there beneath Styx, trying to catch her breath, trying to shake off the spear. It was probably for the better. She might have panicked and she saw the bigger woman standing up and grabbing the chair, and panicking was the last thing she needed to do right now.

While Styx glared at the referee and climbed to her feet, the Latina lied there still, unmoving other then the swelling and fading of her chest as she sucked in air. Of course, when the brute's boot slammed into her chest, that air was forced back out, and Angel's eyes snapped back up, staring upwards towards Styx, an almost helpless look on her face.

She struggled to breath, desperate to take in air as Styx leaned down on her, pushing that boot hard into her chest. The audience around the two screamed and booed and jeered at River, and the referee went down, calling out the first of her counts. The first count only caused the crowd to boo louder, but it had an opposite effect on Angel.

It pissed her off.

Despite the pressure on her chest, her struggles to breath, the tiny shards of glass poking at her, and the overwhelming disadvantage she had at the moment, Angel remained defiant. Despite everything, she refused to give up to Styx. The brute was keeping her chest nailed to the floor, but once again, River had forgotten about the Latina's more dangerous, more powerful lower body.

As the referee's hand neared the floor for the second count, Angel suddenly kicked up with her lower body. She bent her legs back towards Styx, trying to hook them around the bigger woman's waist, trying to pull back on her. Even if she couldn't get Styx off of herself, she hoped she could unbalance her, or at least distract Styx enough to make another escape attempt instead.

Styx saw the look of helplessness in Angel's eyes, and she absolutely adored it. The great Angel. The celebrated World Champion. Ms. Summer Splash. All those accolades, and she still wound up getting crushed under her boot like a cockroach. It made Styx smile. A real, genuine smile that she didn't know her face was capable of making.

It could only get better if she actually got the pin this way, but that wasn't to be. Angel still had some fight left, and she used it to pull off an escape. Styx's eyes widened as she felt a pair of sinuous thighs wrapping around her waist, and she knew what was coming next. She just couldn't stop it.

"Shit-" She got in a short curse before she was flung over and sent tumbling away, narrowly missing the referee as she flew. Styx hit the ground rolling and made two full rotations, before crashing into a set of empty chairs and sending them scattering like bowling pins. Not exactly the best look.

She came to a rest on her back and started to sit up, knocking away a few pesky chairs in her way as she did.

That worked. That worked way better then Angel thought it would, and she was glad for it. Styx went flying, and she had a chance to get her ass back in the game.

As soon as the brute went flying, the Latina sat up, rubbing at her chest with one hand, and staggered back up to her feet. Her breath was ragged, and her darker skin was covered in a sheen of sweat, but she was standing, and that was the important part. She stared towards Styx, watching as the woman sat back up, and sneered towards her. She didn't want to go charging back in, not yet, not after last time. She needed a new plan of attack, and she needed to think of it now.

"Come on!" she shouted towards Styx, taking a step in the opposite direction from her. She spread her arms open wide, almost as if she was giving Styx a perfect target. Her words shifted from English into her perfectly spoken native tongue of Spanish, her lips turning up into just a hint of a smile. <You wanted a fight, you bitch, so I'm going to give you one! Get back on your feet and come and get me, you big bald ape!>

Angel was up on her feet than Styx thought she'd be, mouthing off like she hadn't been a second away from losing just a moment ago. Exactly the sort of behavior she expected from the little Latina princess, and it made her want to grab one of the chairs and just fling it at her smirking face.  She grabbed one, felt the steel in her hands, squeezed it hard and imagined all the things she could be doing to Angel if this were a proper hardcore match. She would've already won, by this point.

But that wasn't the case, so she'd have to play within the rules. At least, until the bell rang.

Styx couldn't perfectly make out what Angel was saying in her native tongue, but she got enough fo it to know how to respond. <"Oh, I'm coming. Just wait..">

She rolled her neck, getting out a few kinks she picked up from the chair crash, then rushed towards Angel with a few heavy stomps. As soon as she was close enough, Styx brought up her leg and tried to nail Angel in the chest with a Big Boot, hoping to plant it right between those breasts she seemed so happy to display.

Angel watched, her body tense, ready to act, as Styx lurched up to her feet. She was ready. She just needed Styx to mess up, and she would be right there to punish her for it.

Styx began to stomp towards her, and Angel knew she had her. She rushed back in towards Styx, and made a prediction, having a feeling she knew what Styx was going to do.

'Lo and behold, she was right.

The Big Boot was a predictable move in this situation, and Angel was experienced enough to figure that Styx would try something along those lines. As the brute's leg came up, Angel quickly darted to the side of her, out of the way of the high attack, and lashed out with her leg again. Her kick came swiftly and sharply, aiming for the back of Styx's standing leg, right for the back of her knee, before the woman could fully recover from her failed attack on the Latina.

Styx rushed towards Angel with all the speed she could get out of bulky frame, tearing at her like a runaway freight train. She executed the Big Boot just right - perfect timing, perfect posture, perfect power. If it hit, it would've dropped the proud former champion right on her ass, and a few timely stomps would've ensured she stayed there, this time.

So it was kind of a disappoint when it missed. For Styx, anyway. The audience seemed to love it.

She knew pain was coming, and it came swift. Angel's blow struck her leg hard and reflexes took over, making it immediately buckle. She fell to her knees and gritted her teeth down hard to keep a scream from getting out - she wasn't giving Angel anymore satisfaction than she had to. Not that she was getting a small amount to begin with.

"Fuck..." Styx needed to bring this fight into close quarters, somewhere that Angel couldn't move around too much in. The less space she had, the less that speed of her was would be a factor. It was a good idea on paper, anyway, she just had to make it a reality by finding an area like that, and she was kicking herself for not getting a better lay of the arena before the fight.

Styx tried to stand up as fast as she could with her hurting leg and pushed forward, hoping to make a temporary retreat from Angel towards the side doors of the arena, leading out into the vending area - the bathrooms, the offices, something like that could help her out.

Angel's kick connected with Styx's knee. The brute went down, and the crowd went wild.  The Latina grinned widely, elation spread across her face. She was back. She was in her element, surrounded by her fans while she kicked the ass of someone who quite frankly had it coming. This was where she belonged, right here, doing what she did best.

She almost, almost, began to regret taking those six months off. She had missed this, she really had.

She pulled back her leg again, ready to swing another kick towards Styx, this time ready to knock off her head while the dumb ape sat there on her knees. Before she could fire it off though, Styx rushed back up to her feet, faster then Angel would have expected from her, and began to stagger off.

<Oh hell no!>, Angel cried out in Spanish, chasing after her. No way she was letting Styx get away from her! She ran after her, and just as Styx pushed the doors open and was passing through them, the Latina leaped up towards her, aiming both of her boots towards the small of Styx's back with another quick dropkick!

"Shit, shit, shit-" Styx cursed under her breath as she made her way through the doors, bursting out as the security frantically tried to get the crowd as clear from the area as they could. There was a lot of space to cover, and they were having some trouble pulling it off - the vending area was one, long, wide corridor that swept around the entire arena. Not exactly designed to house a fight.

She started to slam the door behind her, hoping to buy some time before Angel could follow up, but that was a lost cause - quick as lightning, the former champion was on her again. A pair of boots crashed into her back like a battering ram and sent her stumbling forward, and if it hadn't been for a golf car that was parked nearby, she would've fallen flat on her face. Instead, she wound up getting knocked into the driver's seat, with her chest hiting the steering wheel along the way for an extra bit of pleasantness.

Styx twisted around in the seat, turning to face Angel's direction while she tried to sit up. As she did, she did a quick check to see if the keys were still in the ignition. They were, as it turned out. Good.

Angel quickly jumped back to her feet as Styx went stumbling forward, the Latina feeling cocky as she watched the brute fall into the golf cart. "Come on, chica!" She taunted, putting her hands on her hips, smirking towards Styx. "I thought you were going to pick me apart, huh?"

Feeling complete in control, she started to move towards the golf cart, intending on dragging Styx back out of it and pulling her sorry ass back into the arena. When she saw Styx reaching for the keys, though, she paused for a moment, confused by what the woman had in mind.

Whatever it was, she wasn't going to let her do it.

Angel dropped her grin and went racing for the golf cart, going to dive into the passenger seat. As she did so, she drew back her arm, trying to fire off a quick, straight punches towards Styx's face, wanting to stop whatever crazy ideas the brute had in mind.
