Looking for a debut match

Sat Apr 29, 2017 2:29 pm by SimplyMoon

Hey all, new here. Just got my character approved so I am now looking for a debut match. It can really be anything and it doesn't matter to me if she wins or loses this first one. Just someone whom can be a bit forgiving as I am new to this.

Some updates

Fri Apr 28, 2017 8:32 pm by Winner3

I wanted to make a notice board post to boost visibility on the subreddit I made for this forum. The discussion post where I introduced and explained the sub can be found here

And the subreddit itself can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/afwrpg/

I made various updates since first posting about it. I'm happy that it has a few subscribers, and that despite the fact that the comment count is low, people seem to be up voting and down voting matches and posts. And I hope to see activity …

Suzumi's heart was aching. She knew what being a wrestler entailed but when you were watching a loved one get hammered it sucked. It really, really sucked.

As Blaise kicked out Suzumi let out a loud cheer that drowned out the crowd. "THATS MY BABY! WOOOOOOOO!" She screamed, clapping and slapping the mat. "Come on Blaise you can still kick her big ass!"

Suzumi kept clapping and glared at Stone almost as if to say "Step in the ring with me sometime...."

Re: Stone vs. Blaise Cameron - Making a Stand

Blaise's break was like a raw slap to Stone's face. It came out of nowhere and left her stunned, staring down at him for a moment after she was knocked off. She had him. She had him, and the little bastard just kept getting up. The crowd was behind him 100%, cheering him on like he'd already won the match, but she was just flabberghasted. What did it take with this guy? He'd been beaten before, she knew that, by people who were weaker than she was. So what was she doing wrong, here?

Her gaze fell on Suzumi for a moment, noticing her challenging stare and shooting her a matching look right back, but she wasn't long in the lingering. The former Wrestling Angel was someone she could address later. For now, she had her hands full with Blaise, trying to figure out someway to shut him down.

Submission moves. There was a thought.

Instead of hauling him up, Stone stayed down for once and moved behind Blaise. She gripped his head tight, lifted him up, grabbed his arms and pressed her knee against his back for a surfboard stretch, trying to split him right down the middle. Simple, easy, but most importantly, effective.

Blaise continues to lie on the mat, gathering his strength. He'd need as much as he could get, if he intended to really seal the deal with this opponent. It isn't that she's weaker than everyone else he's faced - she's spot on in thinking she's stronger. The difference here, the deciding factor, is going to be pure motivation. Amy might hate him for pushing himself like this. They'd had talks about him injuring himself for fighting too hard. But- hold that thought.

The teen gives a whimpered yelp as he's yanked by the head to sit up. Confused, he finds his arms grabbed, a knee jammed into his back... "Nonono," diminishes into a sharp cry of pain as Stone yanks by on him, hyper-extending his limbs and digging into his already-hurt spine. Boot heels scrape against the mat, his head tilted back, his breath visibly rapid.

A glance is shot to Suzumi, expression caught in a grimace as Stone works him over. And when the referee drops down to ask for a submission, Blaise... shakes his head.

Stone gripped Blaise's wrists tight, yanked him back, dug her knee into his spine and bent his body into a neat V-shape. On most wrestlers, this would've been enough to at least get them thinking about tapping out, considering the possibility of throwing in the towel.

Nope. Not Blaise Cameron. He just kept keeping on keeping on, and a small part of Stone cheered along with the audience. In another life, he would've made one hell of a soldier.

But in this life, he was steadily becoming a pain in his ass, and she had to work on remedying that. She released his wrists, only so she could snake her arms under his shoulders. She had something a little more aggressive in mind.

She tried to lock in a full nelson while she rose to her feet, lifting his body up with her whether he could support himself or not. Not a move she used often, but she felt it was locked in well enough, and she gave him a good wrench from side to to side, just to test it.

At the surfboard stretch's full tilt, Blaise is no longer giving little yelps; it turns out that he's a bit of a screamer. His legs kick wildly against the mat, his eyes screw shut, and the only thing he can think about is how much further his arms can twist before she dislocates his shoulders.

So, naturally, he should submit. But he doesn't. He can hear the referee asking over and over, but the teen shakes his head more fervently.

Relief washes over his body as soon as Stone relents on the pull, but that relief also has a sort of numbing effect. He can't but barely move his arms, leaving him open for Stone to hook under them. Blaise could hope for a suplex - odd as that may be, it's better than being twisted and wrenched. But he doesn't want any of it! As soon as he's on his feet, his body pulled taut, the teen twists and struggles, ultimately leading to his head whipping back before her hands can block against the back of his neck, possibly slamming against her face!

Re: Stone vs. Blaise Cameron - Making a Stand

Stone could see Mako from the corner of her eye, well enough to tell that she was getting a kick out of Blaise's screaming and squirming. She also did enjoy a good submission hold, and, for her, the only thing better than watching someone suffer was doing the job herself. If she had her way, she'd bend Blaise all over the ring, and she wouldn't let a petty thing like tapping out stop her fun.

So, in that regard, Mako was getting what she wanted. That realization made Stone's stomach churn, just a bit. But the strategy was working so far, so she went along with it.

She lifted Blaise  up and prepared to lock him in the full nelson. Nothing fancy, but it was gauranteed to make him tap or weaken him to the point where he wouldn't be kicking out of any move he dared to use. It was a solid idea in theory, but unfortunately, she hadn't calculated the odds of headbutt into her equation. That cost her.

She took the back of Blaise's head hard on her jaw, and released the hold immediately, stumbling away while she cradled her face. No teeth were knocked out, but the little runt had definitely loosened a couple. She'd have to remember to pay him back for any dental work she needed done.

Blaise feels his skull crack into another, and then the immediate release of his arms. A flash of glee crosses his mind, but it's instantly colored with worry - he hit her pretty darn hard! Too hard? He doesn't want to dislocate any jaws!

The teen spins around to find Stone cradling her face. He can't tell how much damage he's done. A part of his doesn't want to know. And then another persistent part is urging him to do something, to take advantage, to not let this opportunity slip away. That's been his biggest failing as a wrestler; that lack of killer instinct.

'Not tonight. Not tonight...'

He has to get out of his head and see it through.

Steeling himself, Blaise lunges forward to bodycheck the larger, heavier woman to attempt shoving her hard into the ropes. And though his arms are only just starting to regain their feeling, he tries to snag her by the left wrist and shoulder to launch her at the opposite ropes!

Right in the damn jaw. Just straight on it. Stone swore she could feel a tooth coming loose, and she made a mental note to get it checked up on after they were all in the clear.

For now, she was just going to soldier through it and continue to pour the pressure on Blaise. It was only a momentary pause, and she didn't think a headbutt would upset her plans. She was winning, she could just keep winning, if she played it smart.

That was proven wrong when he came at her like a loaded spring, forcing her into the ropes and sending her off with an energetic Irish whip. Physics took over as Stone went bounding off, moving all the way to the other side of the ring. She hit the ropes and came towards him on the return trip, while she readied her arm for a clothesline.

Alright. He's got her moving. It's do or die time.

Blaise turns to press his back into the ropes, straining the elasticity against his frame. They spring forward, and he charges her at a full-on sprint. It's wild. It's reckless. It's like a bullet train gone off the rails. With a barbaric cry, the teen throws himself at her like a javelin, his arms out to catch her around the waist with his shoulder aimed to smash into her midsection.

If this spear misses, he's screwed. He's so screwed. But if it hits, it's carrying his everything.

Stone swung her arm out, prepared to hit Blaise with a killer clotheseline, and wound up hitting absolutely nothing.

Time seemed to freeze. She couldn't see Blaise from her vantage point, but she didn't need to for this, really. She had a very good idea what he was about to do, and the worst part was knowing that she couldn't do a damn thing about it. It was going to happen, and it was going to suck in a major wait. "Fuck-"

Blaise's spear crashed into her stomach and knocked Stone right off her feet, driving her down hard to the floor. She landed hard on her back as the crowd went wild, cheering Blaise's impressive table-turning skills. Stone, for her part, could just lay on her back and stare up at the ceiling, taking deep breathes to reecover all the air she'd lost.
