The Asian was shocked into uncharacteristic silence as Dixie pulled her closer, her blue eyes holding Asami's brown ones in their gaze.

Her words touched something in Asami, getting through the web of self hate, despair and loneliness that she found herself snared in these days. Or perhaps it was the look on Dixie's face, the expression of someone genuinely concerned for her. Sympathy was something that had been in short supply for Asami, and it moved her to tears that welled up in her eyes before she closed them and turned her head away from the cowgirl's gaze.

The tension ran out of her body as she slumped in Dixie's grasp. The Japanese woman had resolved not to cry in front of the former Rose but was only partly successful. She sniffled and drew shaky breaths as she bowed her head, letting her hair cover her face again so Dixie hopefully couldn't see the tears that ran down it. She remained that way for several long moments before speaking again.

"A-alright..." Asami replied softly. "Please, let's just go....anywhere that's not here."

Dixie stared at Asami for a moment, ready to go, but when the kunoichi slumped down in her hands, starting to sniffle, the cowgirl felt herself break. She did the only thing she could think of doing, and pulled the girl tight against herself, wrapping her arms around her, hugging her close.

She stood there for several moments, hugging the poor, unfortunate ninja against her body. She hated that things had came to this. She hated that Asami had gone down this road, and that she had been caused so much pain because of it.

But most of all, she felt herself hating...herself, for not noticing that something was wrong sooner, for not trying to help Asami earlier. She hated it, but she was damn sure going to try to best to fix things, and to help Asami get back on the right path.

She held Asami for a few more seconds, then gave her a gentle squeeze before letting her go. She nodded at the ninja's words, and gestured towards the back of the warehouse.

"Come on. My bike's out back. Let's get the hell out of here, get ya cleaned up and get both of us some rest."
