Eliza Harenwood vs Kira Tenshin

Kira managed to score his first hit of the match. Although the audience did not agree with Kiras rash and brash move. The audience would boo and hiss at Kira as he got onto his hands and knees. Looking down at his female opponent Kira would straddle the girls back, trying to pin her down, his position was however badly placed and it would not be hard to break free, his inexperience was starting to show.

He would bend down and try to pull her into a camel clutch. The only move he could really pull off. As he pulled back the audience carried on booing. After 30 seconds Kiras arms would begin to shake. Showing that he was struggling to maintain the hold. Something which Kira feared happening.

For Kira it was challenging enough to try and hold the hold. When Eliza started to buckle and move for the rope Kira had let go even before she grabbed the rope, rolling back a bit to protect himself from a rapid counter attack. It seemed almost as if he was getting tested to his limit Herr, even though the match had hardly gone on yet.

Clambering to his feet, Kira would be taking deep breathes, trying to ensure he had a steady flow of oxygen and secondly making sure he didn't panic by letting his heart rate soar. The last thing he needed right now was to hit the panic button and lose it all.

Observing the female it began to dawn on Kira just how much trouble he was in. He had thought that this match was going to be an easy win to kick star the new year once he saw the girl originally. Now ot just seemed that things were not going his way. Watching the girl bend just seemed to erode his confidence more. Taking a single step forward he would try to use his legs as a weapon, throwing up his leg in a kick, trying to clamp her in jaw, however it was not an easy thing to do, requiring him to lean backwards to get the height for the kick. Missing this would be embarrassing.

It really did seem as if everything that Kira was doing tonight was destined to go wrong. He didn't want to look like a jobber but it really did seem to come across that way. Since then and this girl had been matched together he had come to realisation that one of two things were going on: either he was a lot worse than the officials had ranked him or, She had improved a hell of a lot during her hiatus. Kira was willing to believe that she had gotten a hell of alot better since she left.

Eliza was not the only one who had here eyes wide open when she managed to expertly avoid and grab the kick before Kira had time to react. It was almost as if Eliza had come right out of a marital arts movie. She didn't however waste any time in applying even more pressure and getting him onto the ground and into a powerful hold. The annoying thing for Kira was that he was practically powerless to stop her. Despite his height advantage, he was not heavy and hadn't developed much muscle during his training. When stuck in a lock like he was in now, Kira would find it impossible to try and escape, instead trying to call on his endurance to try and endure the hold. The match in Kira's head was now all about endurance. Losing was almost guaranteed in Kira's eyes, now it was a cause to try and avoiding losing too early and this becoming a career ender for him.

While the hold was only a minute long, to Kira, that felt like it was an eternity. When the hold was released he almost gave out a yelp of rejoice, but it came out more as a huff of breath. Kira did want to counter attack right away, however his mind had taught him that maybe waiting might help in this case. So far Eliza had shown to the crowd that she was by far the faster contender, leaving dust trails around Kira. Attacking rapidly would only give her time to turn the tables again... but then again, leaving it gave Eliza more time to prepare. Kira clearly had't thought this through enough.

It was however far too late now. He had almost rolled all the way into the ropes in a bid to put distance between the two of them, using the ropes as an aid to clamber back onto his feet, taking a few valued moments to judge his next move carefully. It did seem however that his mind was drawing a few blanks. Until a ambitious idea came into his head. If he pulled this off he might just get back into the game, fail though and it would put the final nail in the coffin. He would bounce backwards off the ropes, trying to propel himself forward, taking the next few steps with his feet as rapidly as possible, trying to ideally build up a large amount of momentum. When he was ready he would jump up, trying to perform a running jump kick to the girls chest. It was risky, if she was clever enough to side step it there was no telling what sort of damage she could do.
