Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle

Post by acuya on Sat Dec 13, 2014 8:03 am

Haruka Date

-VS-

Valley Doll

Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission or Knockout

***

The moment the bell rang, Valley moved into her fighting stance - side facing opponent, one arm tucked in, the other out, one foot slightly with the other straight. It was less of a grappling stance and more meant for striking, a pose she hadn’t chosen at random. She’d watched enough of Haruka’s matches to know that there would be less wrestling in this match and more blunt force trauma than anything.

Haruka was known for her kicks, and so was Valley...but everything Valley knew about kicking was pretty much self-taught, using her cheerleading as a base to build her real skills on., On top of that, it wasn’t something she’d based her entire style on. Kicks were her go-to for close combat, but that didn’t mean she was the best. Was she good enough to hold her own with Haruka head on? Only one way to find out.

She decided to try and go for the initiative, reeling back and throwing out a quick roundhouse kick to Haruka’s side. wanting to see just how fast this particular Wrestle Angel was on her feet.

Haruka had a special 'zone' she liked to go into when she was in combat. Time seemed to slow her muscles ached less and all combat was just one fluid move. Haruka hadn't really found her zone by the time Valley sent her kick whirling in. She hopped back in an attempt to dodge, but the kick still nicked her and hit her in the gut. Valley's foot was almost a blur and Haruka was amazed and how quick and how powerful it was.

Haruka was not without quick and powerful kicks of her own. She hopped forward on one foot and attempted a front kick, aiming for Valley's tight little tummy. The crowd was still cheering, excited for the start of this thrilling high impact match. Her upper body was still and her arms were at the ready. Her foot, however, was like lightning, ready to strike down the blonde bombshell in front of her.

It was hard to be sure at this point, but it seemed like Valley caught Haruka off her guard by attacking straight away from the bell. Maybe a little cheap, but she doubted Haruka would be all that mad about it. From bell to bell, they were going 100%.

Besides, Haruka found her footing soon enough and gave every bit as hard as she got - maybe harder. Valley started to move in for a grapple after her kick and wound up taking a front kick to the stomach for her troubles, hitting with enough force to knock her back a step and make her clutch her stomach for a moment while she gasped. Valley was fast, but Haruka was fast. The girl kicked quicker than some wrestlers punched.

Valley kept moving back towards the ropes, trying to test her range and draw her in.

Haruka advanced on Valley. If Valley wanted to give her ground, she was more than happy to take it. After all her first kick was successful and hit her right in the gut. Haruka hoped the sequel would be just as much of a hit. She looked down and noticed she still had the mike in her hand. Her face turned red with embarrassment, and she quickly tossed it to the side. Haruka wasn't much of a talker anyway.

Haruka did a quick dash and leapt into the air. She was a purple cyclone of hair and flowing judo pants as she tried to spin in a backheel kick at Valley's head. Her first kick landing home had buoyed her and she felt she could get away with the impressive and impressively painful move.

Valley was fasat, nimble, skilled, but even she had to marvel at just how quick Haruka was on the attack. One moment they had a sizeable gap between them, and in the next moment that gap was gone with Haruka back inside her deadly range. She couldn't be sure exactly what the Wrestle Angel was going for and she went airborn, but she could already tell it was going to come in high and hit hard, which meant that her head probably should be substantially lower in the next half second.

She ducked just in time, cutting it so close that Haruka's kick went through her flowing hair as she dropped. Valley timed it just right and rose as the kick brought her around, then reached out, grabbed her from beind, and tried to lift Haruka up and over with a snapping German Suplex.

Haruka realized it maybe wasn't fair to expect for every kick to knock out her opponent or even hit her opponent. One of the things she expected least was for her opponent to grab her out of the air and send her to the mat. The shock of it stung more than the pain of it did, almost. She ragdolled as she bounced once, twice before coming to a halt.

Haruka pulled herself up as quickly as she could. This match was going to be no joke; she knew that somewhere in the back of her head but the suplex quickly solidified that thought. Haruka was more than ok with that. She had promised Valley that she would give it her all and she was going to hold herself to that promise; she stepped forward and spun low, trying to get a low kick in to sweep Valley off her feet.

The crowd let out a tense cheer as Valley slammed Haruka down with resounding force, but she couldn't share in their joy. They were barely a minute in, and she'd seen enough of this girl's matches to know it wouldn't nearly be that easy. She fully expected Haruka to be up almost at the same time she was. As it turned out, things were worse than that.

By the time Valley made it up, Haruka was on the attack again. The leg sweep hit her ankles as soon as she was on two solid feet, dropping her flat on her back. She grunted with the annoyance and jerked to the right, trying to roll a few feet away from Haruka and get some distance before she rose once again.

Haruka did a back handspring to get away. Valley was quick to recover from her sweep and had managed to gain some ground herself. She stared down down the blonde woman, trying to scry something from her beautiful blue eyes. Nothing. Haruka put on her war face and tried to find her zone. Blood was pumping and her heart sent adrenaline to all her muscles, but she still hadn't found her zone her special place.

Haruka once again launched an assault. She took a few steps forward and planted; she then cartwheeled magnificently, her long purple braid flowing like a mountain brook, before bring her hand down with a powerful karate chop with the help from the extra momentum from the gymnastic move. "Heeeeyah!" She cried as she aimed the chop at Valley's shoulder. The crowd gasped as they waited to see if the lightning would strike.

Valley rolled to her feet and looked up in time to see Haruka come towards her. Fast. With a cartwheel

"Crap-" Was all she had time to say before Haruka's chop crashed into her shoulder with all the subtlety of a brick and made her bones scream with pain. Her legs turned to jelly for a second and she went wobbly, threatening to fall down or fall back.

Instead, Valley fell forward, gritting her teeth to deal with the pain and holding her ground. She tried to get Haruka in a pinch and keep her close, hoping she could push her towards one of the corners. The idea was to cut down on her mobility and hammer her away in a tight space. Whether that would work or not was up for debate.

Haruka was happy to see that her karate chop hit home even if her expression didn't change. The impact sent a jolt down her arm but the purple haired Japanese woman was sure the blonde woman was hurt more. The evidence of such was the fact that her legs seemed to have the consistency of sweet blackberry jam as Valley fell forward. Haruka delighted in her small victory before she was put in a clinch.

Haruka was overpowered and sent back to the corner, grimacing as she was forced against the turnbuckle. This wasn't ideal. Haruka did well when she had freedom of movement and could whirl and jump and spin her way to victory. The soft padding on the turnbuckle informed her that she did not have such a luxury. Haruka tried to push back against Valley, fruitlessly. She then tried to knee her opponent in the gut, bringing her Muay Thai skills to bear against this pretty American woman.
