Junko had practically locked herself in the film room after Taylor's match. Once Taylor had been cleared to leave the infirmary and everything was settled, she had become almost like a hermit. She only answered her phone when she needed to and only really left when she HAD to. She'd watched the replay of that match so many times, she could practically call a perfect play-by-play with her eyes closed. It was the worst thing she could watch and she always watched it to the end.

More often than not, deep feelings churned inside of her. She had been so helpless to save her daughter and she had been forced to watch Kelly get the better of her twice. The second time was even worse. That blonde woman needed to be stopped. Still, her thoughts had only drifted tot hose dark places. She'd filled up a binder full of notes as she watched Taylor take on Angel.

Everything she had told Taylor NOT to do, she had done. She let Angel beat her with her legs, she let Angel get in her head and she let Angel control the tempo of the fight. Taylor had fought Angel's fight for most of the match. As furious as she was at Taylor, she just couldn't bring herself to yell at her. The girl had been crushed and she understood the feeling. If she laid into Taylor now, that might do more harm.

What she needed was a way for Taylor to win even IF she did all those things. Junko knew Taylor could beat Angel, she just had to account for all the possibilities. She needed to give her daughter-in-law a strategy that would work even if she didn't have her head int he game, even if Angel put those legs of hers to use. It was like she was trying to decipher a code. She would crack it eventually and then she could take it back to Taylor and she could get back everything she lost.

She just... needed a moment to think. Junko paused the film and set down her binder. She needed a moment and stepped outside. She needed to get some water and breath. She pressed her hand against her chest and clacked down to the nearest drinking fountain to refill the water bottle she had brought with her.

Making her way through the backstage hallways of AFW, Helvetica Lee was on a tear. Phone out, fingers dancing across the keyboard, she was hurriedly putting the finishing touches on notes for her next show review. Granted, if the self-proclaimed “student of the game” was honest with herself, her sole match in AFW wasn't exactly a highlight. Fortunately, however, other happenings in the fed gave her far more material than she needed to fill up her ten minute vlog, without having to touch on that … unpleasantness.

And it was all pretty easy controversy-bait. Helvetica's favorite kind of bait. One fan-favorite was nearly cannibalized in the ring, in her match. Some wannabe-lucha got wrecked with a golf club, in another match. And, to top it all off, one of the most controversial faces in the fed just lost a title shot. It was exactly the kind of moments in professional wrestling that set her fan base off, drove her hit counter up and kept Helvetica's business booming.

Still, something was missing. Being in Japan, now, right in the midst of the action, Helvetica figured her show should offer a little more bang for her fan's bucks. And somehow, there was a chance that Helvetica wasn't delivering. She had tried to get hold of the lucha girl, but had no luck. Poor thing probably didn't “comprende las engles” or whatever. And that half-cannibalized British bimbo wasn't returning her calls, probably because of the twentysomething .GIFs Helvetica had put up on Tumblr of her, getting her face sucked off in one fashion, or another. Some people could be so petty.

However, when Helvetica finally pulled her eyes away from her phone, she felt like she'd just been given a godsend. Right in front of her, refilling a water bottle right in the hallway, was the lady who'd managed Taylor Parker straight into her title loss. A godsend of an interview, dropped straight into her lap. Helvetica turned her phone over, and clicked the camera button.

“You!” she shouted, quickly closing the distance between them. “Junko! Junko. My name is Helvetica Lee, journalist and professional wrestler, I'm sure you've heard of me, and I just have a few questions, for the fans. Do you have anything to say about the humiliating beatdown your client got from Angel, in their recent title match? How is she doing? Totally humiliated, right? Can we expect to see her in competition, soon, or was she too devastated to come back this soon? Ooh! Is she injured! The fanbase is just dying to know!”

Junko was used to being called out. She had a fairly effervescent personality. She was full of charm and she was seasoned in the ways of wrestling. Any girl worth her salt would love to chat with Junko, or maybe sneak off for a bit of fun. There were many reasons why someone would WANT to get Junko's attention but it had been quite a while since she'd been addressed with such a disrespectful "You!"

She turned and looked at the youthful Helvetica as she bounded forward with a click of the camera. Junko's own bespectacled faceraised a curious eyebrow at Helvetica's introduction. She certainly had something to say on the matter but she was polite. And Helvetica was quick with her barrage of questions.

As she was verbally assaulted, Junko slipped her hand in her kimono sleeve. She pulled out a small fan and opened it with one deft maneuver and covered her face so that Helvetica could only see her eyes and the annoyance that dripped from them.

"Helvetica-san, is it?" She asked, tilting her head. "Those are some questions indeed." Questions she'd had to answer a few times in her day from scrappy interviewers with agendas much like Helvetica. "Are you looking for real answers or do you expect something else? fufu~" She let a small chuckle escape her lips before they frowned tightly behind the fan.

"I have plenty to say on the matter, but most of it is to Taylor herself and that will come in due time. I'd hardly call it a beatdown though. The beatdown came afterwards. As Angel if she feels like she walked away with an easy win." She said. "Taylor-san's doing well. She's hungry and she won't let one loss stop her from reaching her goals. She'll be back in action again once she heals up. She was concussed but it won't keep her down, that's for sure."

Junko then quickly pulled her fan down and reached out with her free hand to clasp her hand and snatched away Helvetica's phone. "Now, Helvetica-chan." Junko said, looking at the girl. "Are you actually going to publish what I say or are you going to make up the answers for me? I know what kind of girls can't commit to journalism or wrestling." She said, fixating her eyes on Helvetica as she spoke with a knowing tone.

"If you're a good girl, maybe I'll let you have your phone back, fufu~" Junko's features finally formed a sly grin as she eyed the fangirl.

Standing with a hip tucked out, Helvetica kept her phone trained firmly on Junko while she waited for answers. The American couldn't even try to suppress her smirk, as she watched Junko pull out her fan.

“Sure, wee little maid from school, tell me what you, as a coach, were thinking when you watched your girl get her shit kicked in. We don't have to call it a beatdown, if that makes you feel better. We could call is failing, we could call it jobbing, we could- h-hey! Wait a second!”

Helvetica's reflexes were hardly good enough to prevent Junko from getting the camera phone out of her hand, and she was hardly pleased with Junko's insinuations. The older woman's sly grin brought a full flush of anger to Helvetica's cheeks.

“Ohmigawd,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest in anger, “are you really that desperate? People have a right to know what you're thinking, right now, and I cannot buh-lieve- you are trying to put my journalistic integrity into question, right now! If your ring skills are anything like your promo skills, it's no wonder your little girl got her shit kicked in. For real, this is just pathetic. Give me my phone back, and maybe, just maaaaayyybe, I won't make you look like a total tool in front of all of my fans!” Squaring her shoulders, Helvetica glared over the frame of her glasses, trying to look as intimidating as she possibly could, while failing to contain her nerd rage.

Junko watched as Helvetica became quite indignant. She kept her cool smirk as the rookie feigned outrage. However, there was one bit that made her raise an eyebrow. "What was that, Helvetica-chan? MY ring skills?" She asked. "Are you trying to imply something? Are you trying to say that you could possibly do something about it? I may be twice as old as you but I'm pretty sure I could still kick a mouthy brat's butt, fufu."

Junko lowered her gaze, looking over Helvetica. She was pretty sure that this girl did not possess much, if any in-ring ability. It would be a good way to get her to back off, that was for sure.

Junko then stepped forward to push her chest into Helvetica's so she could lean in close. "You've obviously done such a good job of breaking down my daughter's match. After seeing the result, how happy do you think I am to be dealing with someone like you? I really, really think that I have a lot of steam to vent, wouldn't you think, Helvetica-chan?"

Junko leaned in so their faces were close, their noses touching even. "I might even say that I was in a terrible enough mood to want to take out my frustrations on some sneaky little brat that thinks she's an expert at everything because she's got a pair of eyes and think that that and some tits will get her somewhere in this league."

Junko closed her fan and jabbed it into Helvetica's breast. "I'll give you a free lesson, Helvetica-chan." She said, narrowing her eyes. "Just because a bear's old doesn't mean you should poke it. If you want to get anywhere in this league you should be in the gym, not one some phone. Now, are you going to be a good girl and slink away or does this old dog have to show you some of her tricks?"

As Junko beared in on Helvetica, the “student of the game” stumbled to hide how startled she was. This was a non-wrestler, right? A trainer, a coach, manager, whatever the hell she was, and she was daring to step up to an actual wrestler? Helvetica had already put in an entire match, in AFW! Who the hell was this woman, to try and disrespect that?

So, Helvetica pushed back, thrusting her chest against Junko's as the other woman tried to brow-beat her. “You wish you could vent some steam on this butt, don't you? But, seriously, you 'frou-frou'-ing …”

Helvetica's flip attitude was cut to the quick, however, as Junko jabbed her fan directly into her soft chest. Helvetica's lip curled, as she tried to stifle the quick sting of pain. “Oh, well then,” the American sneered, trying to glare a hole through Junko's face, “I suppose I should be grateful for the opportunity, huh? Like, I might get to learn a lesson at the hands of the mighty Junko, about how wrestling works. Something beyond what I could learn from watching hundreds of matches, analyzing every one of them down to the most minute armbar. Because sitting on the sidelines coaching people to losses is just soooo much more valuable, Gawd. I mean, that's where you get the quality lessons, right? Like the ones that helped your precious daughter so much, in her last match?”

Junko's eyes were locked with Helvetica's. She was in now mood to deal with a brat and the bespectacled girl seemed to be eager to get in a fight with the elder woman. Even as their plump breasts mushroomed together, Junko didn't back down from Helvetica's threats.

"Have you ever SEEN a championship belt, little girl?"
Junko said. "I've been watching film for nearly two days. I'm sure I've seen more video tape than you could even imagine. I've seen my clients wrap championships around their waist. I've personally trained the best in the business. Have you ever even been to a gym before? Certainly those hips say otherwise, fufu." Junko teased.

"But if you'd really like a first hand lesson, I'll happily oblige. Though, I can't say how technical I'll get. I'm only interested in teaching you how to get your butt kicked, not in doing it with fancy technique."

“Um, yeah,” Helvetica said, trying to put as much effort as she could into rolling her eyes. “Title belts are kind of, like, the whole point, right? I mean, I've only been following wrestling my entire life, and they're kind of on every show, aren't they? I mean, shouldn't you know that? Gawd.”

“And you know what?” Helvetica added, her cheeks flushing red, “I don't need to go to the gym, okay? I know a lot of folks in this industry get by on their muscles, or by being skinnier than a rail, or pumping money into a plastic surgeon. I've been watching wrestling tapes since before I could push the 'play' button, you geriatric skank, and that's all the conditioning I need. Sure, you could say you've probably forgotten more about the wrestling you've seen than I'll ever learn, but most people wouldn't brag about Alzheimer’s, like that.

“You think you can teach me something, though? Share your wisdom? Gawd, yeah, you bring it on. If you can teach me about 'getting my butt kicked,' I guess maybe I could learn something. I mean, that seems to be exactly what your little girl Taylor learned from you. And apparently you gave a master's class, in that one. So, yeah, let's do this!” Helvetica glared over the rim of her glasses, at Junko. She didn't back down for a moment, her feet seeming to knead the hallway floor. What she lacked in carrying herself like a fighter, the American seemed to be trying to make up for in sheer aggression.

Junko had had quite enough of this girl. Now she was more ready than ever to just kick her ass. However, even Junko, who was usually quite reserved, could not control herself when Helvetica was finished. Her hand slowly slipped her fan back into her sleeve.

Junko took one step back and her hand whipped around sharply and cracked across Helvetica's cheek. "I don't care what you want to say about me, but if i hear one more word out of your mouth about my daughter, then we can skip the formalities and just get right to business here and now." She said with a steely look in her eyes.

"Now, I'll give you your phone back and if you'd like to publish the interview objectively, then it's fine.' She said and tilted her head, smiling. "But I'll be watching and if you fuck with me or my daughter, then the beating in the ring will be the most pleasant part of our loooooong evening together."

Junko then held up the phone by her thumb and forefinger and let it dangle in front of Helvetica before she let it drop.

"Oops."

Junko brushed pas Helvetica. "If I were you, I might think about going into a gym and seeing what it looks like in there." She said as she clacked her way back towards the film room.

Helvetica grinned a wide, sadistic grin, as she studied Junko's face. It seemed as though she might have gotten under the veteran trainer's skin, a bit, which was immensely gratifying. Normally, Helvetica was used to tossing her invectives out into blog posts or videos. A shiver of excitement ran up and down her spine, as she got to see the effect she could have on a wrestler, in person.

That was, until the loud clash of Junko's hand across Helvetica's face was echoing through the hallway. Head spinning, bangs shuffling, her glasses flying halfway off of her face, the “student of the game” stumbled a few steps back. She looked to Junko with a mix of shock and outrage.

“How dare you?” she snapped, face turning a bright red. Helvetica squared her shoulders, puffed out her chest in an attempt at showing menace, but she listened quietly to every word Junko had to say. Stock-still, shocked, right up until Junko dropped her phone.

Diving to catch it, Helvetica's own anger boiled over. “You …” she growled, still scrambling to get a good hold on the phone before it could drop any further. “I don't need to hit a gym, to beat down some aging has-been like you … You just wait for this, that pre-match interview we just had is going to be the perfect prelude to my beating your ass, in that ring.

“Of course, now that I think about it,” she added, watching Junko walk away, “maybe you do have a shot. They say those who can't, teach, right? And after seeing what your 'teaching' gets people, maybe I should be worried about your skill.” Still, Helvetica wasn't going to stick around, that hallway. Backing away, slowly at first and then picking up some speed, the “student of the game” began to make her way out of the backstage hallway, and away from the incensed coach.
