Sometimes Syd wondered how much she could get away with. While she put her street clothes back on, her long, lustrous white hair bundled up behind her head so that it wouldn't get too wet in the shower, she looked around at the other girls in the locker room. Skinny, fake breasts, each one trying to out-do the rest in their slutty attire arms race, all of them looked to be as empty-headed as the ones Syd had already met.

She wondered if she were ever left alone with one, if she could get away with ambushing her, slamming her face against the lockers, throwing her on the ground and stomping her until could not scream any more. She could leave the girl crying, tucked under the bench in front of the row of lockers. Who would stop her?

But that was stupid. She didn't get anything from it. Syd was not just a ravenous wild animal, she was an intellectual, mentally superior to all of these strippers and showgirls. She didn't need to waste her time with them. Her dispassionate red eyes scanned over the room once more, and then dropped back to what she was doing.

She finally finished pulling the laces tight on her black leather shoes after having absently fiddled with them, and tied them each in a bow. She clicked the lock shut on her locker and shouldered her gym bag as she stood to leave.

Counting Sheep Empty Re: Counting Sheep

Those who tended to shy away from the light were consigned to become people watchers, observers of those fortunate enough to find their place mingling and conversing in society. Some of those woefully neglected individuals watched on in wonderment, jealousy, or hatred of those who commiserated so easily with each other. Some looked on in complete indifference towards those who basked so easily in the sun, content to be left alone in the peaceful solidarity of their own self made world. Death belonged in the latter, sitting on the farthest edge of a bench which served as the perfect vantage point to do just that.

Adjusting her cut off shoulder-less white cotton top before sitting back down to start packing her own tote bag in front of her own locker, Bunny glanced towards her left and took notice of the silver haired loner eyeing everyone else with a vacant, somewhat smug look. Most people probably couldn’️t tell what Sydney was thinking in this instance, but Bunny had an idea or two, already familiar with the crimson-eyed outsiders exploits. A remorseless sadist and a big-mouthed egotist for a manager whose ruthlessness and illegal maneuvers, while earning them back to back wins, were slowly but surely making them quite infamous.

Bunny rarely took an interest in another wrestler’️s career, but since her ‘debut’️ at SummerSplash D.B. took note of this one in particular, for certain reasons. And if Sydney was the type of person Bunny thought she was, then an abrupt convo may be in order. Call it morbid curiosity coupled with mild boredom. With the clang of Sydneys locker shutting closed, Death decided to make her presence known with a greeting that was guaranteed to start things off on the right foot.

“Do you really think you belong here?...Sydney.” Before saying her name Bunny would rise up and flip the tote bag over her shoulder, turning around to address and stand imposingly before Syd with her own dead eyed gaze.

Syd stopped short. Her path was blocked by a tall girl with... ears.

"When I'm getting changed," she replied tersely. She glanced around Bunny's shoulder to see if there was anyone with her, and then looked back up at the girl. She was pretty big. She took herself way too seriously for someone with bunny ears on her head. Syd stood toe-to-toe with her and waited for her to get out of the way.

"Move."

That was about the response she expected, though flying fisticuffs was a close second. Scowling at the punny jab of her sincere opening question, Bunny placed her hands in her bluejeans hot pants pockets and leaned at an angle with her shoulder against the locker. Things were already getting along swimmingly between the two...

"...*sigh*...Or..."?

"Or I won't be able to leave." What part didn't this idiotic girl understand?

She put one hand on the strap of her gym back and slipped the other in the pocket of her slim black pants. She really had no interest in whatever this was, but until the idiot got out of her way she would be stuck standing there having a staring contest with her.

She probably wanted to fight, but that was stupid. Which made sense, because she was apparently stupid.

“...Not gonna make this easy on me, are you?” After two positively droll comebacks in a row from Sydney, Bunny started to contemplate whether she would have better luck drawing a conversation from the wall. Whether Syd was intentionally feeding her witty comebacks or if she was just an earnest simpleton who meant everything she said, Bunny was reminded of a time when she would have already twisted the cartilage in her bloody nose after head butting it repeatedly by now from her cheeky fucking answers...but the times have gifted her with a renewed patience towards insolence.

“Hmm...tell you what, Sunshine...” Bunny stepped back and turned to her side, the exit doors now visible way down at the other end of the cavernous locker room. “Let’️s start walking. I’️ll say some things. And feel free to contribute whenever your brain feels up to the challenge.” Bunny’️s motives for this change of venue were twofold. Walking side by side would make the awkward encounter less confrontational and maybe get Sydney relaxed enough to reply with straight answers, and secondly it was starting to get louder in that locker room as time went on.

Syd could tell the bunny girl was getting mad. What an idiot.

"Whatever, Rabbit."

She walked past DB and out of the locker room. Her long strides and typically swift walking pace didn't slow at all to wait for the girl. Whoever she was, she had already made Syd's shit list with her crack about Syd's intelligence.

She knew this would happen, anyway. It had happened before, just not in Japan. Now there was a new bunch of losers to try to impress their silly moral codes on her, and Syd would laugh just as hard at them as she did at the ones back in Chicago. Syd always did what she wanted, and she always got away with it.

Now striding side by side at a fairly brisk pace, Bunny kept up with the quickened stride despite Syd’️s best attempt to lose her. Practically shoulder to shoulder now, both outcasts stepped out of the locker room and down the hallway while drawing the occasional stare from passerby’️s. Although she spoke to Sydney her eyesight looked straight ahead of her.

“...I’️ll do us both a favor and try to be quick. You’️re not in this for the glory of a championship reign, are you? Or to hear some fucking nobodies chant your name for a few seconds. …Tell me…don’️t you wanna see how far you would go with no limits? No restraints? No one dressed in white with black stripes to pull you off? Or black with white stripes?” Bunny wasn’️t assuming to know Sydney’️s entire life story, but from her matches and knowing her for the past two minutes...she felt she could make a few lucky guesses.

The rabbit-girl seemed much more interested in Syd than Syd was in her. It was understandable. If the rabbit-girl was at all interesting, she wouldn't need to wear idiotic rabbit ears to get attention. It would just come naturally, like it did with Syd.

"I like the rules," Syd said simply. "It's funny that you think you understand me. But a cat understands a rabbit like a rabbit understands a carrot. I don't care about you're ideas, now go away."

As she walked, she began to take notice of anything she could potentially hit the rabbit-girl with. Likely, the only thing of any girth would be a chair, but Syd took a casual interest in the idea of finding something more interesting and more painful to bludgeon the irritating interloper with somewhere between here and the exit.

“....yeah.” Bunny sighed and looked to the sides through windows as the death march went on. Yeah right, the girl who munched on Gemma’️s face and practically rammed a croupier rake up Liberty’️s ass after her match was the paragon of fair play. If Sydney was just going to play the part of a contrarian no matter what D.B. said then there was no point to any of this.

"Well....it thrills me to know I'm a source of amusement for you Sunshine. And I'll go away once I feel like were on the same page here.”
Bunny turned her head back towards the impending exit door ahead of them, though it was getting closer it still felt like an eternity to get there. “So what?.....That loud mouthed hype girl who follows you around. SHE understands you?
