Belated Apologies

Sun Mar 26, 2017 9:58 am by Clobber Jobber

So, I'm not super fond of doing non-match threads because it messes with my organization, but I feel I owe everyone an apology. I just kind of up and dissapeared for, what, a few months? With the exception of one wave of posts, I've been super quiet, and a lot of threads have been held back because of me. So, I'm sorry to everyone about that, and I'm going to at least get another wave in.

To explain myself a bit, I've had a few things going on that slowed me down. For the first couple months, …

Yes, I know that sounds fucking stupid, but with only one thing to focus on instead of 5 subjects and 5 groups, I should have more time to spend on the site, and so I'm open for new matches, send me a pm or I'm me on Trillian (same name thewamts if you don't have me already) if interested.

Lucy's Debut

Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:11 pm by kagestar

Well what can i say really?

After the warm reception here i am looking for my first Character Lucy Kage to have her debut.

This doesn't have to be in the form of a debut match, though i am not going to say no to that of course, but it could even be that she appears at the end of another match etc. I want Lucy to arrive, not with a bang per se, but with more of a determined swagger.

I want her entrance to pretty much be believable, sellable but also meaningful. It sounds snobbish, especially …

Lorenza Saldano vs. Carmen Rodriguez - ¡Guerra!

Re: Lorenza Saldano vs. Carmen Rodriguez - ¡Guerra!

Carmen started to push up and ran a hand over her head, feeling the spot - not too big, and not too painful. It stung like little pin pricks, but it was still by far the least agonizing thing that had happened to her for the past few minutes. Lorenza hadn't intended to do it on purpose, and it wasn't like it was against the rules. Everything was fair game, no hard feelings.

Carmen would have said something along those lines out loud, but Lorenza started pulling her again, this time having the courtesy to just grab her head. With the slight reprieve, her struggles were a bit more lively, but she was still too out of it to break away. It occurred to her that Lorenza wasn't just dragging her around for the hell of it, she was going somewhere in particular, and wherever it was, Carmen was quite sure it was a place she did not want to be.

Desperate to get free, she reached up and started clawing at Lorenza's hands, wishing she wasn't such a nail biter so she'd have more nail to claw with. Still, she had enough to at least make some scratch, and ran those fingers furiously along the tigress' skin.

Lorenza had a firm hold on Carmen’s head, and once again began to drag her across the floor and towards the locker room. Progress was slow. Carmen was a tall, powerfully-built woman, after all—not exactly a lightweight—and she was resisting all the way, much to Lorenza’s chagrin. Still, progress was being made, and Lorenza had dragged her opponent to within ten feet of the locker room entrance when Carmen began to claw at her hands and arms.

“Guh!” Lorenza grunted in annoyance. Though Carmen’s nails were short from being bitten, they were, unlike longer nails, jagged, the edges seemingly serrated from biting and easily carving red lines through Lorenza’s flesh, scratching it raw, and maybe even drawing blood in one or two spots. “No way!” she would growl, before using her hold on Carmen’s head to slam the woman’s face into the cement floor again, letting go after that and giving up on dragging her into the locker room for now. Carmen was weak, for the time being. Lorenza could beat her here, she was sure.

Carmen managed to stop Lorenza from dragging her. That was good.

Instead, she slammed Carmen's face into the floor. That was bad.

Carmen's face hit the floor hard enough to make a resounding smack, and if it wasn't for the pain rolling through her head, she would have thanked whatever crazy god that was looking in on this match that she didn't get knocked out cold from it, ending the brawl right there. Her nose was broken, the steadily growing smell of blood told her that much, and if felt like her lips were only a good punch away from being busted, too.

She could still move, but just barely writhing around on the floor like she was just getting out of bed from the longest nap. She wasn't running on empty, she could still fight, but she needed a good minute or so to get herself together, and it didn't look like Lorenza was in a generous move. Her only way to push through was going to waiting for an opportunity and hoping - praying - it would be enough.

Lorenza would step back as Carmen’s face smacked into the floor, giving the Puerto Rican a second to savor the resultant pain. She watched the blood trickling from Carmen’s nose and smirked, knowing that, for the time being, she was in total control. Lorenza knew she couldn’t stand back for too long, however. She needed to go after Carmen. Carmen Rodriguez was too dangerous to be given openings.

Lorenza would take a couple of big steps forward and would swing her leg back, then send it hurtling forward, trying to give Carmen a very solid, very hard kick to the stomach, intending to knock the other wrestler over onto her side and heap some more pain onto her plate. With any luck, Lorenza would be able to overwhelm her rival.

Re: Lorenza Saldano vs. Carmen Rodriguez - ¡Guerra!

Carmen was woman enough to admit that this was not going in her favor. Didn't make the beating any easier to take, but there it was.

Street fights really were a whole new level of brutality - all the fights she'd been through, all the beatings she'd taken and given out, and none of them made her feel like this one had in only a fraction of the time. Her body was screaming for a rest, but Carmen had to give it a harsh reminder. No corner to retreat to, this time. Not cutman. Just her. All her.

She saw the kick coming far too late to do anything to stop it, and the blow struck hard in her stomach, more than enough force to flip Carmen on her side with a harsh croak as she went. But just because she couldn't stop it didn't mean she didn't have something for Lorenza.

It wasn't a brilliant move, but Carmen had enough grit to grab hold of Lorenza's foot before it pulled away, wrapping both her arms and squeezing at the ankle. Stalling for time, now - the more she knocked Lorenza off her game and made her screw around, the more time she would have to recover. And she need it. Bad.

Lorenza’s kick sailed in and slammed into Carmen’s side, knocking the Puerto Rican boxer over. But Carmen wasn’t content with letting Lorenza dominate her, it seemed. She grabbed onto Lorenza’s ankle before the Mexican boxer could think to retract it, and squeezed it, pulled it, keeping Lorenza from moving around.

The former world champion sighed, annoyed by this inconvenience. She hopped on one foot, shaking the captured limb to try to force Carmen to let go. She couldn’t really do anything more than that. She couldn’t kick, because she had to stand on her free leg, and she could not maneuver herself into a low enough position to punch her rival. All she could do was shake hard, trying to hit at Carmen with her captured foot, waiting for the chance to slide the limb free and then continue her beating of the other boxer.

Grabbing onto Lorenza's ankle for dear life, helpless to do anything but be a minor nuisance, stalling for time while her head cleared...this wasn't Carmen's proudest moment, but if it worked, it worked.

Lorenza shook hard, but Carmen might as well have been a limpet, latched on tight, knowing full well what would happen the moment she let go. She was dragged around a bit, and Lorenza's thrashing foot cracked her in the side, but it wasn't anything too painful, especially compared to what she was surely avoiding.

But it wasn't meant to last forever, though, and after about a third of a minute, the leg was wrenched free, leaving Carmen on her chest. She brought her hands up and covered her head, turtling up like Lorenza had done a few minutes ago and hoping that would do enough to cover her ass. Her head wasn't swimming anymore, but she still had a ways to go before she could even dream of being on the offense.

Lorenza managed to shake Carmen around a bit, and landed a few shots to the woman’s side with her captured foot, but with so little space in which to move her captive limb the Mexican boxer could not put any real force behind those blows. This was annoying her immensely, and she couldn’t help but feel like clinging in this way was beneath Carmen. She should have more dignity than this.

Finally, Lorenza managed to pull her leg free of Carmen’s grip, and backed up a couple of steps, taking a deep breath and staring down at her opponent as the other Hispanic boxer turtled up the same way she had mere minutes before. Lorenza couldn’t get at any of Carmen’s vital points this way. Her face, her chest, her stomach, her groin were all protected by the arms and the back. “Get up, piruja,” Lorenza challenged her rival, swinging her leg back, then launching it forwards to give Carmen a swift kick in the seat of her pants.

Carmen grunted as Lorenza kicked her ass. Literally.

It was a pretty undignified attack, but Carmen was in an undignified position. She hated turtling up like this, but it wasn't like she had much choice in the matter. It was either this or just get the shit kicked out of her, and as much she despised it, she wouldn't like getting her face broken, either. She needed an out. She needed to get up. She needed to fight.

The kick in the ass spurred her on, lit a fuse, and Carmen smacked her fist in the floor and pushed off the ground. She wasn't going to just jump back up and start dominating from the floor, but she could at least start making inroads, and the best way to do that would be by throwing a few curveballs Lorenza's way.

Instead of standing up all the way, Carmen spun around and swung her fist up from a crouch, a hard hammer blow going for the pugilistic princess' hip. "Careful what you wish for, puta!"

Lorenza’s kick to Carmen’s ass seemed to kick the Puerto Rican into gear, as she angrily smacked her hands against the cement floor and pushed herself up off the ground. Lorenza would take a step back and would wait for Carmen to get up, looking for her rival to be in a vulnerable position before she attacked again and really started to crush her.

The Mexican boxer was impressed that Carmen was able to get up so quickly after taking such a beating. Carmen didn’t get up all the way, however, and would quickly turn around and aim a hard hammer blow to Lorenza’s hip. Lorenza grunted, winced, and would slide in the opposite direction, favoring her other leg as she felt pain shooting from her waist to her knee on the side that Carmen hit.

Balling her hand into a fist, Lorenza would swing a hard right hook towards Carmen’s face, bending down slightly so that she could aim for her not-quite-standing opponent, looking for quick, effective retaliation after Carmen’s attack.
