Active Kawaiis

Sat Jun 24, 2017 1:25 am by Daaharu

Hey, guys. I'm hoping to get a sense from everyone of where the active kawaii girls are at. No guarantees or anything, but I am looking to figure out who is out there consistently making matches because we are looking to inject some new blood into the kawaii title scene, and I don't want to have tunnel vision on just the players and characters I know.

So, if you've got a kawaii girl who's had at least one match and is currently active, can you let me know either here or via PM or IM? This …

I am going to a wedding, and will be traveling for the next few days. Sadly, I will not be able to post. But do not worry, I shall return. Sorry to all the people I am delaying.

Not dead! Sorry!

Sorry for the recent slowed responses and disappearing act! Life, work, all that stuff, kind of got the jump on me! I'm back now though, promise - or I really hope I'm back now at least. I'll be replying to all the threads I have now, and hopefully I'll be around more now that things seem to (hopefully) be slowing down a bit.

Now that she was starting to trade punches somewhat with Carmen, things were definitely coming together much better. It wasn't perfect, but as she motioned to throw a big hook only to just take a step to the side and keep moving she was really feeling much better about both halves of the match. Taylor had a short fuse when it came to Adrian, trying frustrating tactics in the boxing, and generally being better than she expected would keep her off her game and probably get her to make easy to capitalize errors on the chess portion. She didn't need the power to KO Taylor in her fists, but she had enough to rattle her, and that was all she needed. Well, maybe not all "It's not like considered a dick move this..." She said, trying to iron out all the concerns. "Switching between southpaw and normal stances I mean. I just don't want to give her excuses or make people think I'm relying on cheap tricks to win when I might not win a straight up fight."

"Cheap?" She was a little confused for a moment, but she figured out what Adrian was getting at. "Nah, no. You play to your strengths. It's no cheaper than using a feint or something."

She moved around Adrian, getting more comfortable with her rhythm. "Good fake, but stick with jabs for feints when you're on the move, leaves you less open. She threw out a slow hook, trying to show her what she meant."But yeah, I get what you mean, and I respect that, but boxing's more mental than people realize. It's a fair strategy that not a lot of people could pull off. If it works for you, there's nothing wrong with that. I don't know Taylor like you do, just saw some of her matches, but I don't think she'll give you shit for simply being able to work both stances. And if she does, that's her problem. Every sport has some mental warfare going on."
