Now that last comment annoyed Damus there ""The fuck she on about?" was it an attempt at snide humour?

Regardless Damus had dealt with worse attempts at snarking, being in the political situation of Russia growing up helped him there. Although he himself was thankful that he wasn't around there with the recent issues with Ukraine.

So now how to deal with that little comment? If Damus was like another certain male in the tension roster he'd have clonked her then and there. But he liked to believe that he was better than those thugs without principle.
With that in mind Damus then said "Must capture moose and squirrel, bitch." only he said it in his Motherland's language, and with that he turned on his heels and left without saying another word. He had a battle to prepare for.

Kozue couldn't be sure, but she was 90% certain he just called her a 'bitch' in Russian. She had been called that in a few other languages, and in her experience, that word always had the same inflection.

Shame he didn't say it, though. She was a big Rocky and Bullwinkle fan, growing up. Would've made a nice ringtone.
