Something I've Noticed

Tue Feb 21, 2017 10:06 am by scorn53

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but every few weeks the same user joins the site, creates a few profiles and matches, then promptly leaves. I've only noticed because they follow a very similar profile template (and call it weird, but the use of black font), albeit they've now edited their latest one because they cannot delete it.

To get this out of the way..

Tue Feb 21, 2017 10:50 pm by Mystery Dragon

Recently theres been something wrong with me. I fell sick some time ago, as I usually do in the spring time due t several reasons and recovered but haven't really been the same since. Some days I'm completely fine and others I can barely remember what I was doing 5 minutes ago and constantly feel down or not just not well for whatever reason, I even passed out in my dorm just to wake up in the dining hall. Ive had myself checked and they cant see anything wrong with me so I don't know what the …

Looking for some action

Tue Feb 21, 2017 3:47 am by k0hryuu

Hey guys,

I'm looking to expand my horizons a bit and work with some new people, or maybe work with someone I have in the past and haven't with for a while. Or actually pretty much anyone I'm not already currently working with. I'm pretty open to play ball with whatever (just not hentai matches), otherwise my roster page shows my own particular preferences. My only demand is coherent grammar.

Everyone except Akiko and Yukiko are available, so if you see someone that might interest you, …

Oh, a touchy subjects. People always had so many touchy subjects. There were like little cubs, sometimes, always on the edge, close to being tipped over. Her father was trying to teach her how to walk that line, not go the places people didn't want to go, but it was weird. Reading human emotions was like trying to learn a language. Harder, even, in some ways.

Lore's first reaction was to take offense at the critique, but a quick glance in the mirror off to the side made her shut that right up - Katsuko was just saying what would've been obvious to anyone with even one functioning eye.

"I..." She bit her lip and put her foot down, standing up straight. Trying to. Trying to quite hard. Years of crouching and staying low had made the posture second-nature to her. This? It felt so...off. "I'm trying. It just feels weird. Is all. Not natural."

She tried to control the breathing next. In, out. In, out.Iiiiiiin...out. "Like this?"

Re: The Odd Couple (For Fieuline)

"That's more or less it, sure."

And it was better. But it was still so… amateur. There was so much more for the girl to learn and practice and cement in her style, and it all felt so pointless. She already had a fighting style--a beautiful, natural, integrated, ferocious way of approaching combat, much more free and at one with nature than anything Katsuko had seen from her masters. A pang of jealousy wracked Kat, and she had to clench her teeth if she wasn't going to scowl.

Let your look be a void, for in the void there is virtue. (And, you know. You're less likely to do stupid shit if you don't feel stupid shit, and you're less prone to feel stupid shit if you wear a stony face)

There was reason for Loraine to learn form. It would expand her repertoire. It would move her one step closer towards achieving a total mastery of combat--so that she would, at any moment, have the correct tool for any engagement. The question was why Katsuko felt any need to teach her.

"I think I feel pity for you, Wild Thing. You have such a long distance to cover in matters of form…Are you sure it's for you? You wouldn't prefer to just take what nature gave you and practice what works? I'm still not sure I understand why you're here, practicing a style you completely destroyed yesterday."

Wild Thing was hardly the most sensitive person when it came to social graces, but even she couldn't help but blanch at Katie's bluntness. Pity? Pity?

Her face grew flushed for a moment, and she was about to give Katie a rather large piece of her mind, but the words of her father came in and calmed her down. She had to be slow to wrath, slow to speak. Mindful Actually think about what Katie was saying and get at the advice and good nature of it. It wasn't an insult, not really. It was a legitimate question.

"I..." She paused and dropped down, sitting down with her legs crossed. "I don't know. I guess I'm a little jealous." She shrugged. Hardly a good reason, but it was the only real one she had. "I see all these wrestlers with intricate styles and cohesive plans and I kind of want that, too. I guess I thought I could do more, but..." She trailed off for a few seconds, then looked up back up. "And I didn't really destroy the girl with the mask. We fought, I won, but she was, well...better. I'm not even sure I could do it twice."

Re: The Odd Couple (For Fieuline)

If Katsuko had been a great sage, it might have been said that she'd just subjected her student to a subtle test: by insulting Loraine, she discovered the depths of this so-called Wild Thing's patience and self-control. Her ability to respond respectfully and thoughtfully to such a rude teacher revealed depths to her character a true senpai could have molded into something enviable indeed.

Kat was aware of this--and she was aware that she was no sage. She was just an angry little girl who felt more and more like an asshole every time she opened her stony mouth to say something.

She bit her lip and struggled to stay neutral. The void...

Then, all at once, she lashed out and aimed to strike Loraine across the cheek with the side of a flat hand. She turned with her hip and took a step with the blow, moving into stance while she tried to land this out-of-nowhere lightning-strike.

In the forest, with her pack, Wild Thing would never have let that attack hit. She would have been on guard, always ready for a strike even from someone as unimposing as this. Wild Thing would have dod <img src=" title="Twisted Evil" /> ged, lashed out, and laid into Katie with her fully feral fury.

But this wasn't the wild, this was civilization, and the civil life had started to dull her senses. She couldn't be on guard all the time. People didn't act that way, and she wanted to be around people. That meant letting the animal inside her rest. That meant relaxing. That meant taking the blow.

Katie's strike was fast and powerful, spinning Wild Thing around and dropping her flat on her chest, stunned and stuttering. Surprise gave way to instinct quickly enough, and she spun her head around, not sure why Katie struck her and not really caring. Until...

Her eyes widened at the stance, looking her over. She sniffed the air, breathed the scent in deep. That smell. That look. She rolled around to her back and sat up, as her eyes narrowed. "You."

God. It felt good to land that blow. But then reality crashed back down and Lore came back snarling.

You.

Katsuko's esophagus tightened to something with a nickel-sized radius and her breath caught in the blockage. She'd been caught.

Hadn't she? Really, you couldn't be sure, not when you'd just smacked someone across the cheek. You could mean anything… Damn, YOU hit me, girl and so on. Just… go with it.

Kat smiled and bowed.

"Sorry--sorry! Was just a test…I guess you could use training, you know? It could help…Ggggiiiven how you reacted just there. Get your confidence up versus these uh, technique guys. For sure! Ehehe..."

Gulp.

Wild Thing stared at Katie, looking her over in complete silence with a small frown. She stood up and got a closer look at Katie, her eyes tracing up and down the girl's body. She was hardly a psychologist, hadn't spent much time around humans, but even she knew that what the martial arts mistress had just done wasn't exactly normal behavior.

She took a few more sniffs, mulling it over. Not quite like the masked girl - similar, but not the same. It could mean nothing. It could mean everything. Wild Thing couldn't be sure, and that was the deciding factor. She wasn't about to start a fight with someone who could be just an innocent girl.

But she was going to stay on her toes from this point on.

"I guess." She took a step back and eased up, rubbing the spot where Katie hit."Have you had any matches, yet?"

Was… that the sound of Katsuko sliding out of this completely unscathed? Undetected?

Why'd she want to be undetected anyway? She didn't even know what she was doing here. Whatever it was, though, it gave her heart palpitations. Or maybe that was just Wild Thing.

"Oh, you know, a few," she said quickly before rapidly moving on to:

"So…I should probably be on my way, Loraine."

Without exercising. Without doing anything but creeping into the corner with you so I can strike you chop-wise across the cheek. Oh well, too late to worry about that.

"But if you're serious about training, perhaps you could stop by the dojo sometime? I could give you some serious pointers there. There are masters I respect, and I'd be happy to introduce you."

I'd love to test your skills against some trained fighters I know.

Wild Thing was reasonably certain this was the strangest woman she'd met in her short time in Japan, and considering that one of those people had was a sumo wrestler who sat on her face, that was quite an accomplishment.

It wasn't even anything overt, except for the extremely overt chop in the face. Something was subtly off about Katie, and it was hard to put a finger on. Maybe she was the masked woman. Maybe she wasn't. Either way, Wild Thing couldn't help wanting to know what her game was, where this was all going.

"i..." She wrestled with herself for a moment, but got pinned fast by her own curiousity. "Sure. Sure, I'd like that."

Fieuline wrote:"Excellent! Well, you're going to need a new uniform, then. They don't allow gym shorts where you'll be headed, so what you'll need is…"

Katsuko itemized the ten or twenty or thirty things she thought her new friend might want to know before prowling into a dojo, smiling and nodding and bowing throughout, and then when she ran out of things to say, she became very busy and absolutely had to get away for some "all-too necessary" work.

She would only realize after she'd scurried away from Wild Thing, after she'd turned on her car stereo and its rhythmic hymn, after she'd opened her window to let in the breeze while she drove--that in all that information, she had not mentioned the dojo's address.

It was a clear, warm day. The roads were empty of traffic. Mentally, Katsuko ran through a mantra.

Her grip tightened on the wheel. "...Fffffffuck."
