Seeking: Friction Spar Match

Mon Nov 20, 2017 6:40 am by Yori

Looking for a spar for Alexa.

Howdy, I'm new to the forums and figured I should get my, and my characters toes wet with some good old fashion sparring. It can be a one off, or blossom into something else down the road for a friend/rival relationship. Alexa as a character is a fresh face, and an unrefined talent. I don't mind having someone at her skill level to have an event match, or someone superior to her to have a more one sided bout. I'm looking to use this regardless as a way to build …

Character updates.

Wed Nov 15, 2017 4:14 pm by Lotuswarrior

Since I'm starting to get a bit busier here, I'm trying to be a bit more professional. With that I'm going to overhaul my characters and update their profiles or release them all together. I'll post any images here of the characters I release, so that you guys/girls can claim them if you want.

Also looking for some characters to interact with outside of matches.

It should be something separated... maybe even have separated sections for mixed and girl on girl...

you know...

for those of us who find guys punching girls disturbing.

Yeah, I'm seconding this...

Okay, one more thing here. I'm sure most of you have noticed that I suck and the old Daaharu who could finish a thread in three days is gone now. But even so, I shouldn't be leaving threads for more than a week, and that has been happening with alarming frequency lately. So, please, if I have not replied to our thread in the last SEVEN DAYS, please LET ME KNOW on here or on Trillian so that I can suck a little bit less and not leave you hanging for a month.

Officially caught up to my AFW replies on November 19.

To be fair, I have no compunction - I just like writing fights, and gender doesn't matter terribly much to me. So I'll freely admit that, perhaps, my judgment is clouded by that.

How about this.

One boxing forum, divided into two parts - Friction Boxing and Tension Boxing. Friction Boxing is for regular boxing, Kawaii, and Three Holes. Tension Boxing is for mixed and m/m fights. Friction Boxers can compete in Tension Boxing, but obvious Tension males have to stay in Tension.

So they're kept separate, but they don't clutter up too much. Apologies if someone already suggested this and I'm just repeating stuff. I'm a little slow, sometimes.

[quote="Alexandra":1o97dlon][quote="Tatyina":1o97dlon]I think that a.boxing league lends itself more to moonlighting than Tension does/should. I.e. there should be mor Friction girls boxing than actual 'only' boxers.
Why do you think that?

Because I think that moonlighting in Tension dilutes tension and I don't think it matters as much if the boxing league gets diluted.

Also, let's step back a bit from titles and stuff like that.

For /now/ I'd say there would be just one general f/f belt and, if there gets to be any sort of want for mixed matches beyond one offs or males who want to have titles or whatever, that could be discussed in the future.

This more about whether or not we should do something, if anything, with boxing in AFW.

I like the idea to make boxing matches canon.

I don't mind it getting its own league as long as I can keep using Xerxan with the boxing even if it is still in the alternative thread. Being how he would dress conceals the small parts that would conceal his drow features so he just looks like a young adult even though he has fighting experience of a gladiator willing to settle in as a boxer.
