Carmen Rodriquez vs. Snowman

Snowman would give off his left punch and it had worked for a moment. But then Carmen came back to attack again, this time one right punch and one right cross. He would try to block, but his arms still burned and it only made him step back even further. It seems that he was getting close to the edge and Carmen could have a chance to finish this off.

"For what it's worth, you're not bad, kid." She weaved back and forth, getting ready to lower the boom. "But it's time for you to take a nap."

As a boxer, she had to abide by certain rules. No low blows. No headbutts. No kicking. But as a wrestler, all these things were off the table. And while she was definitely coming at him like a boxer, it was easy to forget that she could do a great many thing she would never get away with in a boxing match. For instance, it was perfectly legal for her to reach out, grab his arm and pull it to the side, trying to shoot a right uppercut into his face before he could get it back down.

With his arms still burning, it was easy for Snowman to be vulnerable to Carmen's next move. Carmen reached out and grabbed his arm to pull it to the side. Snowman went with it and it led to feeling a right uppercut into his face. "GAAAH!!" he cried out from the impact as he was sent flying up before hitting the mat hard. At this point, he looked dazed and confused, which would be a good opportunity for a pin or some such thing.

And down he went.

That uppercut had been textbook, landing right on the chin, exactly how she wanted it and with the predictable result. He hit the mat hard, dazed and confused, and if this had been a boxing match she probably would have gotten the ten-count.

But it wasn't. Here, she only needed three, and that's what she went for. Dropping down, she grabbed him by the leg and pull it up as she rolled on top of him, going for the pin.

"1...!"

Snowman was still in a daze and the world was spinning as she pulled his leg up for a pin. He couldn't see the ref coming in nor hear her start counting through his dizziness. He only groaned as the pin count was starting and again he was powerless to stop it. It probably won't be long until he realizes it, but from the looks of it, he might be accepting it.

Then the ref's hand would hit the mat again as she counted, "2!"

"3...!"

The bell rang out and the crowd erupted into applause as Carmen let go of Snowman and laid against him, taking in full breaths. He was a tough guy for someone so young - reminded her of her first real opponent, Domino. But she was getting better at wrestling and incorporating her own style in the ring, and it looked like the fruits were starting to come off the tree.

"Good match." She looked back his way and nudged him a bit. "You all right, man?"

The bell after the pin count was enough to break Snowman out of his daze and back into the light. He could see that he lost, but he didn't mind that. His head still rang a little, so he had to rest on the mat for a while along with Carmen. He felt her nudge and hear her ask how he is. With a smile, Snowman turned to her and said, "I'm alright, Miss Rodriguez. You are a much tougher boxer/wrestler than I realized."

She ran a hand through what little hair she had. "Don't call me that, man. Ms. Rodriguez was my Mom."

She gave him a playful elbow and stood up, dusting herself off and enjoying a little smile. People had tendency to bam pith Tension, but she hadn't had anything but good fights with good fighters since she came here. Snowman was a solid opponent, and he wasn't the only one out there. "Take care, Frosty. Rematch, sometime?" She started to head out.

Snowman chuckled as he shrugged and said, "Come on, it's British conduct. What else was I supposed to do?" He too would stand a few moments after Carmen and he would bow to her in respect and good sportmanship. He then smirked as Carmen called him "Frosty". "Yeah, I'd like to fight you again. It's been fun, Carmen. Keep safe."

With that, Snowman left also with the crowd applauding and cheering for a good match.
