Recovery Time Empty Recovery Time

So. To recap.

Valley had come to Japan, looking to make a name for herself in the AFW. And, oh boy, she had done that. Her first match had been brutal - beyond brutal. It had been one of - no, the single most insane match she'd ever taken part in. Nothing with the Slamazons had even come close, and she had to take a good stay at the hospital to recover.

She was cleared in short order - none of her injuries were too deep, thankfully, and the doctors told her she should be good for competition in a week or so. She just had to ease back into it, and the management said they would give her some lighter matches - no jobbers, but nothing too bonebreaking for a while, and sure as hell nothing with Amethyst. If she ever saw that maniac again, it would be too soon.

Today, she felt good enough for a late night work out at the gym - nothing too hardcore, just making sure everything was in working order, testing her muscles a bit - going for a run on the treadmill in her white jogging shorts and bra, listening to some AC/DC on her iPod, blaring into her ear. She still had her fair share of aches, but at least she was good enough for a few miles.

Unfortunately for Valley, she had another long, brutal night ahead of her.

Unbeknownst to the Slamazon, Amethyst was waiting in the gym, hiding in a storage room off to the side, just waiting for everyone else to clear out, leaving Valley all by herself. The AFW's gym was open 24/7, but most people cleared out of it before it got too late, so Amethyst didn't have too long to wait for everyone but Valley to leave. This was perfect. Just Valley and Amethyst, a perfect chance for the violent violet to get some payback against the newcomer to the company.

She hated Valley. She honestly, completely, and utterly hated the woman. She wasn't even sure why. There was just something about the blonde that got under Amethyst's skin, something about her that drove her crazy. She honestly had no clue why. It wasn't about losing to her. After all, she had lost matches before, and they had never bothered her like this. For some reason she couldn't stop thinking about her match with Valley, she couldn't get the thoughts of that woman out of her mind. It had been days since her match with Valley, and her memories of the match were driving her straight up the wall.

So tonight, she planned on doing something about it.

She had actually been following Valley for the last two days, watching the blonde from out of sight while she was at or around the AFW complex. She had been watching, and waiting, waiting patiently for this opportunity, her chance for revenge. Now, it was finally time for her chance, and it wasn't a chance she planned on losing!

Once she was confident that everyone but Valley had left the gym, she slipped out of that empty storage room, carefully slipping into the main room of the gym. As soon as she entered, her eyes fell onto Valley, and it took every ounce of willpower she had to not scream and just go charging after the woman. She was smarter than that though. She was going to do things right. Taking great care to remain out of Valley's sight, the purple-haired beauty silently slipped around the gym, heading towards the main light switch of the room. Once she reached it, she flicked it off, cutting off all of the lights in the gym. There was still a decent bit of starlight shining in through the upper windows of the building, sure, but for the most part it was mostly dark, and Amethyst knew where Valley was at.

It was just unfortunate that Valley herself had no clue that she had a visitor waiting for her.

"Huh?"

Oooooooookay, that was extremely weird. The lights suddenly just cut off, bathing Valley in total darkness - aside from the stars above, her iPod, and the lights on the treadmill, there was a sliver of light to be seen. This was her first time in the gym, but she'd been told it was 24/7 - no way they'd be going down, now. And it couldn't be a blackout, her treadmill was going just fine.

With a sigh, she pulled the plug and stepped off, reaching for her towel at the side and wiping her face. "Hello? I'm in here, turn the-" Oh, right, say it in Japanese, maybe that would work better. <"I'm in here. Turn the light on!"> Starting to get better at that.

Once the lights were out, Amethyst ducked down low, behind a set of exercise equipment. She raised a hand to her mouth, stifling a laugh as she heard Valley call out. The blonde really had no idea what was about to happen to her. It was beautiful. Amethyst was about to totally ruin the woman's night and get her payback on her.

She started to creep through the gym, trying to get closer to Valley without being spotted. She took great care to stay out of sight, to remain hidden as she crept through the darkness of the gym, not wanting the Slamazon to know she was there until she was ready for it.

She moved swiftly, but quietly, eventually getting behind Valley and trying to sneak right up behind her. Once she did, she would whisper towards her, in a soft, but still somehow playful sounding voice, hoping to spook her most hated woman before she got started on her attack.

"The lights are off, bitch, and soon it'll be lights out for you!"

A lame line, but Amethyst didn't care. She let out a loud laugh afterwards, rather more like an insane giggle, and suddenly thrust her arms forward, trying to give Valley a rough, violent shove away from her, if not outright sending her to the ground.

That voice. That voice.

Valley didn't know why she was surprised. Maybe she'd just hoped that Velour would have learned her lesson, or at least decided to challenge her again officially. Maybe she thought that it would all stay in the ring, that when they met again, it would be simple. Maybe she thought the odds of them just running into each other were too low to care about it.

She should have known better. Really.

She look around, a burst of panic running through her - Velour was close, but with the way her voice echoed around the gym, it was near impossible to get a lock on her. She could be anywhere, she could even be-

Valley Doll fell forward for a hard shove on her back, sending to the floor. Desperate, she got to her feet fast and swung her leg out, hoping to hit her with the roundhouse kick.

Amethyst was ready this time. There was no way she was letting Valley get any kind of an advantage over her. This night was her night. She planned on walking out of here triumphant, leaving the blonde a broken, bloody mess behind her.

She braced herself as Valley scrambled back up to her feet, waiting to see what the woman did. When her leg came up, sweeping towards her with the roundhouse, Amethyst threw up her hands, bracing herself to catch her leg in mid-air. "I don't think so, Barbie..." she snarled towards her, grinning as she stared the woman in the eyes. She held her leg for but a brief moment, then suddenly threw it straight towards the side, trying to turn Valley away from herself again, hoping to throw her off of her balance.

Damn, how was she doing that? Valley couldn't see a damned thing - the place was entirely black, barely anything to see with, how did she block that kick, let alone catch it? What, did she have night vision goggles?

Valley started to raise her other leg for an Enzuigiri to clock Velour in the head, but her leg was pushed away before she had the chance and sent her stumbling away, arms flailing. She ran into what felt like a weight bench and nearly tripped over, leaning on the bar. She swung her fist out behind her in a wide arc, and hit it on the side of the wall, cracking her wrist.

"Gah!" She staggered away, grasping her wrist. "Velour, you coward! You're that afraid of me, you won't even fight me head on anymore?"

The gym might have been dark, but there was still enough starlight filtering in that Amethyst could still see Valley decently enough. Not only that, but she was experienced enough that she had a feeling Valley would try to come at her like that with the kick.

"Afraid...?" she called back to Valley, her voice soft, a harsh tone to it, the woman grinning at she watched the dark form of Valley staggering away. "Why would I ever be afraid of a blonde Barbie like you...?" She began to move towards her again, crouching low as she approached the blonde. "You're nothing. Just a pathetic little bimbo that got lucky in our match together. Well, tonight? Your luck's ran out..."

She started to laugh, a crazed, cackling noise, as she closed in on Valley. Once she was close enough to the blonde, she suddenly lunged in her way, going low in an attempt to nail her with a spear, trying to bring the Slamazon down to the floor of the darkened gym.

Valley staggered back, sneering for all the good it did her, trying her best to get a bead on Amethyst from her cackling groan of a voice. Left? No, no...fromt the right. There, she was...damn, no!

"Luck? Luck didn't slam your head against that steel staircase; it was my hand! Turn the lights on and I'll show-"

Valley felt Amethyst crashed into her chest, bringing her down on the unforgiving floor and even sliding from the impact - if this had been a match, she could have tensed up, prepared, but in the darkness her body wasn't the least bit ready for it - she hit the floor and sprawled out, coughing, choking, wheezing, as she recovered from the sneak against.

"When I-" She spit off to the side, catching her breath as she started to sit up,"When I find you-"

The moment Amethyst crashed into Valley, bringing the blonde to the floor, she rolled off of her, scrambling back up to her feet. With another laugh, she started to retreat away from her, slinking back into the darkness of the gym.

"Find me...?" she called out to the blonde, ducking down behind some equipment, trying to keep out of the Slamazon's sight as she sat up. "Then what? Just what do you think you're going to do to me?" A pause, and then she continued. "NOTHING! That's what! You're just a worthless Barbie that isn't going to do shit!"

She cackled again, trying to silently creepy around, trying to stay on the move, not wanting Valley to get a feel for where her voice was coming from. "But me? I AM going to do something! I'm going to leave you so broken and beaten in here that you'll never be able to wrestle again!" Another laugh emerged from the psychopath, as she crouched down beside a rack of weights, staring eagerly towards the seated blonde. "So come on then! Come and find me if you really think that's what you want to do! I'm waiting for you, Barbie! Come on!!"
